Weekly Forecast August 2: Jupiter and Mars Square Pluto
by Pat

Sometimes the way out is up. © Judy Ben Joud/Dreamstime

This is it, kids. It’s peak week for the cardinal T-square — the astrological “week from hell” we’ve been anticipating — with a one-day grand cross thrown in for an additional increase in blood pressure.
I’ve written a lot over the past few months about possible manifestations of the T-square, based on events associated with similar configurations in history, notably in 1989 and, even more prominently, in the early 1930s. The events in 1989 for the most part were well-defined, one-time occurrences, even though some had far-reaching consequences that are still in play.

Conversely, in the early 30s, developments unfolded over several years. In many ways, it was the worst of the two. It almost makes me wish the economy would collapse with an eardrum-shattering sonic boom so we could get it over with, rather than being dragged deeper and deeper into economic depression and worldwide totalitarianism.

If you had a choice, which would you choose? What about in your personal life? Would you rather bite the bullet, suffer acute pain, be done with it, and move on into new territory? Or would you rather suffer low-level background pain continuously over several years, perhaps with an option to numb it until things turned around?

Not that I think we have much choice right now. Under the cardinal T-square, our options are limited. We’re pretty much being forced down a certain path, the only one that’s not blocked. Still, I’m a big believer that there’s always another way out that we just don’t see. When you’ve got four walls closing in on you, sometimes you forget to look up for the escape hatch.

Hopefully you took my advice last week and began confronting the major issues that are standing in the way of your growth and progress. Sometimes all it takes is a new awareness, especially regarding the source of the blockage. Until we identify the source of a problem, we can only treat symptoms and not the root cause.

Getting to the source is this week’s theme, thanks to a high-tension square between Mars and Pluto. Be forewarned that you may have to sit with some discomfort, but if you can stick with it, your chances of getting out of a rut and moving forward are much better.

We’re already hot in the middle of the action as the week begins, with Mars still in close conjunction with Saturn in Libra. On Tuesday and Wednesday, we’ll have a tight T-square with Mars opposed to Jupiter and both square Pluto. If I had to pick the most difficult day during the 2010 T-square, this would be it … although this past weekend was a close second.

The truth can be uncomfortable, which is why many people choose to wear rose-colored glasses or keep their heads buried in the sand. Put another way, waking up can be a painful experience. In my observation, most people wake up to pain first, and then they experience joy and happiness. It’s seldom the other way around.

On Friday, the Moon enters Cancer and closes the open end of the T-square, so that it becomes a grand cross. Emotions could be so intense that some of us might think we’re losing our minds. Some may experience a continuous feedback loop of thoughts going ’round and ’round in their heads. If this happens to you, try to wait out the storm. It will last for several hours, and then it will be gone. Speaking of storms, this also is a prime period for high winds and tropical cyclones.

Later on Friday (Saturday in the Eastern Hemisphere), Venus enters Libra and adds her voice to the cardinal T-square. Venus rules Libra, so she is a very strong voice for beauty, peace, and harmony. We’re in need of these gifts now more than ever, not just in our personal partnerships, but also in the collective and in international relations.

Alas, we may have to fight for them, as the first aspect Venus makes is a testy opposition with “got to be me” Uranus in Aries. You can stand up all you want for your freedom, but you may want to ask yourself, “freedom from what?” The Marlboro man is free as a bird … and alone.

That message will become abundantly clear on Sunday, when Venus conjoins Saturn. For a committed partnership to work, there has to be bona fide give and take. That said, there are imbalances in most relationships I’m observing these days, with one person carrying more than their share of the load. This may be necessary, as we can only carry according to our ability.

Unfortunately, a lot of people are glad to let others carry their load for them, and they always seem to find those who believe it’s their duty. Hopefully Venus and Saturn in Libra will put a stop to that. The willing pack animals among you may need to drop your load in order for your lazy loved ones to step up to the plate. Trust me, you’ll be doing them a favor.

I leave you with this quote by R. Buckminster Fuller, author, inventor of the geodesic dome:

Don’t fight forces, use them.

That’s our mission this week, if we choose to accept it.

Wishing you all the love and courage under the Sun.

This article is what's happening to all of us here and now.
Am I the only one who's head feels like exploding with pressure?

I envy you, electric.
I have been climbing up walls for a while now and I don't even have personal planets involved. Or any angles for that matter.
I do have a partner who is early cap though, I wonder if this could be it?
Caps are going through difficulties now and so is mine. Am I just picking up the vibes?

Ummm, yeah. There was a suspected (by the amount of blood and .... other stuff) murder in the parking lot of my job, sometime after I closed Sunday night, and the day person opened Monday morning.

Yesterday I spent two hours being grilled by very rude police officers who seemed to think I was lying or covering for someone. And I thought that just happened on TV.
Nope.
Then I had to fill out multiple forms detailing what I had done in the last 24 hours, plus decriptions of everyone I served at work, which is nearly impossible because I'm not very observant when I don't feel like being at work (which I didn't on Sunday) and I was busy training a new girl (which went horribly bad) AND I have terrible eyesight and can hardly see in that dark place.
Ughhhh!
No body has been found.
There was a John Doe reported at a local hospital.
Today they are bringing the dogs out to check the wooded area behind my job.

So, yeah, Kiss, I feel like blowing my top.
But, they say what goes up must come down, so it can't last forever.
Nothing does.

Electric, soz, darling, but horary is totally alien for me. If you address people personally, you have more chances of getting help.
Look up the old posts, asking for horary, and see who was of help doing the reading.
Good luck, sweets!

Gyps,
I have a confession to make. It was me.
I got so fed up with your work and your insane hours, and the whole place, which is unsafe, and all the rest of it, that I committed murder. I have a perfect excuse of blowing my top because of t - square.
Don't tell anybody.

IQ, thanks for popping in.
Do you mean I have a blockage and that's why I am climbing up walls at the moment?

Actually, giving it a thought, yes, my whole life is blocked at the moment, though T - cross is not on my planets or points.
If you are still here, can you have a look at it, please?

I feel seriously ****** today, and actually yesterday, too.
With a growing impatience to any kind of nunsense - purely from my subjective point of view.

I asked my guide how to relieve some of this tension and the answer was: See the beauty in everything around you.
It actually helps, stopping, looking at everyone everything and trying to find the beauty within.

But I still feel pretty tensed I must admit. lol

i have no personal planets involved in the classic sense, but have always felt my chart ruler (uranus in early cancer) personally. it is intimately involved in this configuration and though there is plenty going on - sick cat, work picking up, car needing attention, - it is none of it earth-shaking or soul-quaking at least so far. i am hoping i have done enough of my "homework" to make this a dynamic step-up time for me and mine...my daughter has early aries sun and her son has early aries rising! dotter is feeling plenty of pressure manifesting as health problems and the need for a job, which i think is imminent but she being almost all fire has a hard time kicking back and letting things happen, so the stressful aspects out there are showing big time in her body...

this is also a uranus square for me. when i look back at the last two (one was the opposition, 21 years ago) not sure what to expect. square one i sailed through and into a great creative phase of my life. the opposition was like one of those dreams where you are trying to run in knee-deep mud...a lot of effort and frustration just to keep going, but i did and came through it with a new career ! so not too scary but what amazes me most is i am not really "feeling it" except for the urge to meditate, meditate, meditate!!

Stgarkiss,

exactly that picture, or even better a vulcano under water that is just a wee little bit from exploding.

Not really much patience, not felt patience at least. But I KNOW where this mood comes from and I always repeat to myself. The other people are not CAUSE of this.

But I have been travelling today by train - train was being too late , and I had to change stations several times and there were all these many people, so many people.

I did something I usually do not do in public. I closed my eyes and focused on my core. Then I visualized a big violet bubble around me, more solid than usually, and the funny thing is, just as I did this, the people around me suddenly took a step away, as if they had really sensed that bubble and that I needed a bit space right now.
You don`t want to make me feel like I am cornered, I might just blow up.

I didn`t.
I know the source of why I am feeling that way.
And deep down beneath all that tension and fury and rage is sadness.

Sometimes it`s easier to be angry than just feeling sad.

DD, you are my last hope,

I have practically been begging people here to have a look at my chart, posted above(hoping you'd notice), but no luck. My hints are going unnoticed. Must be Nept conjunct my Asc, making me invisible and mute, LOL!
Could you, please, have a look at it?

There was racially charged multiple shooting that happened yesterday that fits with that configuration: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100804/ap_on_re_us/us_beer_distributor_shootings

Starkiss,

I noticed your request.
But I didn`t feel like I was calm enough to have a look. Maybe later, as I feel a lot better now.
I wrote it all down, and I think that was what I had been missing. I just need to write down how I feel especially in times like these, seems the only way to get a grip on them.
