it certainly explains everything
i have pluto, mars and sun in scorpio and the previously said signs in capricorn
i tend to take forever to get to the point of exploding but during the time of first getting angered and exploding i do tend to simmer, sorta like having a burner on low and very slowly turning up the heat.
i have been learning to forget it and let it go, thanks to gem asc, but when it really gets under my skin its not pretty

Yeah I guess that's it. X3 My Taurus Mars prefers peace and harmony (it's so lazy lol) rather than conflicts. Although I can be passionate and stubborn at defending my beliefs sometimes (probably it's coz it's in the 9th house, and it can team with Pluto - which is in the 3rd house - to express them passionately lol). I hadn't heard of Pluto being the Id. I have heard of that being Mars. Anyway Mars and Pluto and by extension Aires and Scorpio are inextricably linked. Isabel Hickey has been an influential astrologer for me. She said:

"Pluto was discovered on Jan 21, 1930, and on that day Pluto and Mars were in exact square. Pluto took rulership of Scorpio away from Mars. There is intense struggle and violence inherent in this aspect."

My fire sign Mars is squared to my 1st house Pluto 2.81 orb and applying. Yikes. I have been known for getting into intense power struggles and furies. Is it defensive? If so, only on some primordial, lower brain level.
