Mars is your anger, according to Saspratos.
Pluto is your deepest id feelings.

I am thinking you will be able to defend yourself at the right time and in the right way if you have these two energies integrated.

HOW do you defend yourself?
Does it relate to your Mars/Pluto/various aspects?

Is it hard for you/easy?

Thank you!
Ami

I think ,for some emotionally sick people,
myself, first in line you could get well if you activated your Mars/Pluto.

In simple terms, you could get well if you were strong when people violated you.

When someone makes you angry, see if it has validity.

If so, GO for it. Does anyone have Kung Foo icons

This is my favorite quote. It covers being a strong person but caring for more than yourself.

If you are not for yourself, who are you?
If you are only for yourself, what are you?

It would definitely help to just tap into your martian/plutonian energies whenever, but both tend to need some kind of trigger in order to defend. I'm heavily martian in general (Aries Mars aspects almost every planet in natal), but unfortunately I rarely act overtly assertive or confrontational unless I'm -angry, or I witness someone being mistreated. Pluto is in my 11th, and I can definitely block people out of my life as a denfense. But it still hurts to shut people out.

IQ told me I have the asteroid Dejenaria(sp?) near Aura.
This means I have to have a strong Aura or I will attract abuse

I have Pluto there, too

That got me thinking about this subject.

PS Thanks, Vertiver, for your reply.
I want to get strong boundaries so I can use a stun gun not nuclear/postal.

i have mars sextile pluto 1/2 degrees.

my mars is in virgo in the 2nd house, pluto in the 4th.

i read somewhere that the houses these planets are in, is where they will manifest their energy. so with me, pluto will manifest from at heme of 4th house related things, deep emotional pyshcological things?

my pluto squares my asc by 1/2 degrees.

i guess i can be pretty direct and intense when i Decide to be, i am always in control of myself.

i have saturn trine my mars by 3 orb, neptune 1 orb, moon quincunx by 2 orb.

moon trines my asc by 2/3 orb.

i feel because my mars is ruled by mercury, these planets manifest in more mental energetic ways than physical.

my mercury rests in the 3rd house conjunct the 3rd cusp in virgo.

pluto as an energy or planet feels more pyschological in my chart, and i feel the same way about saturn when it comes to taking action, in fact everything that touches my asc/mars.

perhaps this is because my mars is indeed ruled by mercury, its always mental.

my mars is strong in thes ense where it rules my MC.

my Sun rules my ASC.

Thank you (((Letram))

When I was younger, I had good boundaries. That was cuz I felt worthwhile and special, in a good way.

I liked myself. I liked what made me--me--my own, particular uniqueness.
I wanted to express that rather than hide my self and try to be nice

When my Mars had to come out and defend itself ,it did.

I knew that my Pluto's id was the same as every one else so why hate myself over it

I think, bottom line, was that I respected myself.

well ami, there have only been two incidents when i went flying and it was with my sister...technically three if you count "flying" as in on a plane...but anyway, you know how scorpios reeeaaalllyyy love their personal space? well nothing is truer with me, my sister was living with me and my mom at the time, and we bump heads like no tomorrow, shes aries, and she has 2 kids AND there are 2 bathrooms in our house.
for some reason she just LOVES to use my bathroom but i kept insisting that she uses my moms bathroom. but no, she just has to use my bathroom and her kids like to follow her like goselings, like any other kid.
i didnt like it, i mean sure they'r my niece and nephew but i have boundaries and she just stepped over them. ALL of them.
it resulted in physical altercations. twice.
i was SUPER stressed when she was living with us because she had her kids and i was in school. ever since she had moved out i became WAAAYYY less stressed.
so i guess it was just our star signs getting crossed, cuz you know, aries and scorpio dont make the best mix in the bowl.
now, i dont have any bitterness toward my sister, but we just have a better relationship when we spend time apart.
lol, i remember one time she and i were getting into a heated arguement, and we both just stopped because we ran out of things to say and we just busted out laughing. i can still remember it was about the dish washer and how you have to rinse off the dishes before you put them in the washer. i didnt understand it because it was the dish "washer." she said it was only to sanitize the dishes. she got me soo confused and angry that day.
you know, i'm the only water sign in my whole family...i'm also the only one born in the state i'm in now...my bro and sis are both fire signs, and mom and dad are air and earth signs....*sigh* i'm also the black sheep in the fam too...

I have Taurus Mars in the 9th house oppose Scorpio Pluto in the 3rd house, both square Aqua Jupiter in the 6th. Also, I have Aries Sun/Moon/Venus/Mercury.
I'm not very good at defending myself with the right words when I'm bullied verbally, although I can be assertive too (I just tend to avoid conflicts). Luckily, my relationships with people are generally harmonious.

Do you think the Taurus Mars makes you not good at defending yourself cuz Taurus is a lover ,not a fighter

Mars is conjunct Pluto, in Libra..
This is so difficult to deal with because I struggle with either over-assertion to the point of being aggressive, or under-assertion, as in ignoring what just happened and staying completely rational/detached (Air) about it.
The only thing I've learned is that my energies are limited and I need to pick my battles or else I'll drive myself insane, and that it's a good idea to develop a strategy vs. entering battle blindly. Thankfully my stubborn self has learned that much..
Adequate assertiveness is still an issue :/
The only thing I don't relate to any longer, which is a typical Libran trait, or ascribed to Venus anyway, is passive-aggression. Used to be, though. Then I got in touch with my Plutonian side, apparently, lol.

Dear Lonake
My best friend(male) has this in the 8th house.
He has mastered his anger, to a large degree.
He has a Cap moon which helps planning and executing things.

If he gets angry, he sits with it and determines WHAT he should do.
If he decides to blast someone, he does it ,but it is not done in anger i.e. he acts angry but has not lost his inner cool.
It is done cuz he needs to get respect and not be walked on.
This is how I want to eventually get with my anger.

"If he gets angry, he sits with it and determines WHAT he should do."

Am guilty of this as well.
Sounds like an Airy thing to do, think it out.

Your Mars trine Saturn sounds really helpful in this regard, it's not Air, but it's capable of a lot of control.

how do capricorns deal with anger? because of all 3 of the earth signs i only have planets in this sign. and the planets that are in capricorn are venus, neptune, uranus, and saturn. uranus is in the 7 house and the rest are in the 8th

Earth & anger is like an earthquake.
So it sustains the anger and builds energy underground and then releases it. And they like to stay with their anger for a bit. Capricorn esp. can hold a grudge much like Scorpio (as a sign, not every Capricorn Sun, just in general..In general Saturn and Pluto have a lot in common.)
Fire anger is more instant, and much more easily "extinguished" (forgotten).
Taurus can easily stay with their anger.
Virgo pushes it and pushes it, and will run over every bit of it until you have no idea what they're talking about anymore.
Capricorn simmers the most underneath, and can be quite explosive and 'final' about it, but does not tend to be as aggressive as Taurus, imo, it's an animalistic sign but not as much as the Bull. They're more likely to cut off relationships.

Well
For anger, people look at Mars. For emotional reactions, people look at the moon.
(anyone can always correct me, as usual lol)

So,where are these, Nicky?
