This is a fascinating question. Does your IC describe your home life? Do you have a particular dislike for the sign/sign qualities there? Why/Why not? Thanks much, Ami ------------------ It is either a lesson or a blessing. IP: Logged |

Mine is Aqua. This sign irritates me more than any other. It is my mother's sign, as you probably know My home life felt cold. Aqua energy feels aloof, detached and non-emotional, to me. Ami PS Obviously, this is not a diss on any particular Aqua's . It is just my experience ------------------ It is either a lesson or a blessing. IP: Logged |

Virgo on my IC.I have a lot of close friends with Virgo placements (my boyfriend has a Virgo Moon, I've dated other guys with Virgo Moons, 2 best friends have Virgo ASCs, dated a guy with a Virgo Mars) but I get annoyed with some aspects of the sign. IP: Logged |

NO. My IC is in Gemini, and I get along famously with many Gem suns, as a matter of fact, I gravitate towards them, judging by my history. I find Gemini suns to be magnetic in that the ones I've known have been upbeat, highly intelligent, talkative and interesting to be with. Never a dull moment.Oh, and my little guy has Gemini rising! hm, moon in leo...i have a desire to be center of attention. in my public life i'm shy and embarass easily so i prefer to sit in the shadows, thanks to it being square my scorp sun. in my private life i crave the attention but dont get it because of my fire sign siblings and air sign mother. my siblings (yes both fire signs, sis-aries, bro-leo) get ALL the attention, and with my mom being an aquarius doesnt see the need to pay particular attention to anyone because she thinks practically while i think emotionally. in my reeaallyy personal life i crave romance of all kinds but at the same time crave animalistic, passionate love overall, i'm a very confused person, lol oh yea, i forgot to mention - my moon is at my IC in leo....very close, like a couple degrees apart------------------ We have eyes yet we do not see IP: Logged |

Cancer I cannot be attracted to the men. Just no chemistry.
Haven't really had female cancer friends. It's not that I don't like them, but I've never been close friends with one....no idea why. I guess we don't gel. IP: Logged |

I have IC in Sagittarius, and it's ruler Jupiter is conjunct it just under 3 degree orb. I have Geocentric South Uranus Node conjunct the IC with 50 minutes of arc. I'd say the combination reflects my multiracial, multicultural background including my interracial parentage and even half Japanese stepsisters which fits with having both Jupiter in Sagittarius in 3rd and 9th house ruler (Venus) in 3rd. My late maternal grandfather referred to the family as United Nations before. I always been interested in other cultures, countries. I even wanted to live in other countries and even marry foreign women. I was in the navy for 7 years, and I lived on a ship and traveled. I am very free spirited person. I also have a very religious side but not in the organized type way. A psychic once told me that I am very religious but I don't go to church. I was good friends with people with Sun in Sagittarius.
When I was a teenager, I had a crush on Alyssa Milano who shares the same birthdate as a friend that I knew in school. They were born on December 19, 1972. Therefore, they both have Sun in Sagittarius. I have 2 first cousins that have Sun in Sagittarius. My best friend in the Navy was a guy born on December 21, 1970. Therefore,he has Sun in Sagittarius.
2 of my maternal aunts/uncles have Sagittarius Ascendant. One of my aunts/uncles has Moon in Sagittarius. I don't have a problem with any zodiac sign in general. It really depends on the person.
I have Mercury,Venus,Jupiter, and Neptune in Sagittarius in my heliocentric chart. The chart has Mercury-Venus-Jupiter conjunction. Therefore, my higher self strongly involves Sagittarius.

Mine is Aqua, too. Do I dislike it? It's just the opposite actually-I love it, probably because of the strong Uranus placement in my chart. My mother's Moon is in Aqua, conjuncting my IC. I'm very often attracted to men with Aqua qualities (mostly with Moon in Aqua). Aqua men attract me even more than Taurus men (that's where my DC is).My early home life was somehow chaotic, complicated, sometimes even too emotional and even violent(at times) but always with lots of laugh, freedom, fun, music, art. Never boring, always action. Very openminded, lots of discussions, but it did lack a certain security though. I've realized that I search for exactly those qaulities in a man or within a relationship. Except for violence, of course IP: Logged |

Scorpio-IC conjunct Jupiter (close).I love & trust Scorpio more than any sign in the zodiac. (This has nothing to do with physical faithfulness for example) My most obvious example which I think could describe this placement (Scorp IC/Jupiter) is the relationship with my first love - (Scorpio & much Scorp placements) RIGHT NOW. He's the only who kept loving me and my family. He's still in contact with us and my mom is STILL his mom although he's married now ~ with someone of his own hindu-culture ~ for many years and has 2 children. It's 19/20/21 years ago that I was in relationship with him but he's my/the only example of genuine human love. The fact that he's from another culture strikes me... (the icy cold calvinism can learn so much from them!)

I have had and still have a good home life (with the occasional bumps in the road), and I like my IC. And Yes, I dare to admit it: I even like my parents and brothers and other relatives. IP: Logged |

my home life is very stressful because, for lack of a better description, i am the only water sign. my mom and i have very poor synastry, my bro and sis are both fire signs. my sis reeaallyy fits the description of aries and i cant stand to be with her for too long. my moon happens to be in leo so its literally fire fighting fire here and my mom is aquarius so she just fuels my siblings fire to no end. my poor niece has to endure the same things i have to because she is the only other water sign, but she lives with my sis in another city. in fact i'm the only one still living with my mom right now. but anyways, my niece is a scorpio like me, her dad is gemini, mom aries as i said before, and her bro is a little leo... enough said------------------ We have eyes yet we do not see IP: Logged |

It`s interesting, my parents` charts have little in common with mine (except for my Dad "reassuring" my Moon sign) - I have. Sun, Mercury, Mars, ASC in Sagittarius Moon in Aquarius Venus in Capricorn my Mum has: Sun and Mercury in Scorpio Moon, Venus and Mars in Virgo ASC in Cancer
my Dad has: Sun and Venus in Aquarius Moon in Taurus Mercury in Capricorn Mars in Libra ASC in Virgo And it really sometimes is as if especially my mom and me are living in two different worlds, or having a completely different perspective on the world, and even though this is so, we love each other to bits, even if we hurt each other (which happens mostly due to our different views on some things).
We really should not get along at all, but we do. I think we are an example that acceptance and respect really matter most. Funnily, my youngest brother and me share some Sag-stellia, and I remember when he was being born I really was thinking: He has arrived finally. lol
I have Sun-Mercury conjunction in late Sagittarius and Mars, Neptune, NN and ASC conjunction in early Sagittarius. He has Moon-Jupiter-Uranus-conjunction on my Mars/Neptune/NN/ASC stellium. And his Neptune and MC fall onto my Sun and Mercury. You could say we are one of a kind. He also has Venus and Mars in Aries - quite a fiery Pisces! (Sun and ASC in Pisces). And sometimes it happens that if we are meeting in the family context we are getting carried away with our talk (as we share some interests), so that my mom sometimes complain we are kind of "shutting out" others, especially my middle brother. But I suspect it`s rather her that feels "shut out", as she is not interested in these things my bro and me have in common (music, films, conspiracy theory, esoteric, astrology - well he is the conspiracy theorist´, I am the astrologer ). IC falls in Scorpio - my sun sign, and my Dad's sun sign. I generally love Scorpios.I have sun opposition moon in Taurus. My Mum and my brother both have Taurus sun. Growing up my home life was stable and supportive. I was the apple of my fathers eye until I became more independent as a teenager - he struggled with that. He had a difficult relationship with my brother which was and continues to be the most frequent cause of friction in our family. My Mum was/is emotionally distant, she demonstrates her love and care in odd and 'practical' ways. I have always been aware of her envy of mine and my Dad's relationship, but I think she would be horrified if she thought I knew. I find both my Mum and my brother emotionally needy of my Dad's attention. It's difficult to describe it, but we are a very close but emotionally distant family. IP: Logged |

I am wondering IF the sign on the IC is the FEEL of the early home life.It seems not. In my case , it was. My home felt Aqua like, to me. It did not have the traditional rules. I had to figure out which friends to have, places to go. I told my parents and they took me I craved to be with my aunt, a Cancer, who watched over her children like a mother hen. x o Ami

Aqua IC - LOVE IT! I love change and can't stand it when people refuse to change. I definitely had problems with my mother when I was growing up, which probably had to do with the rebellious nature of Aquarius. Jupiter conjuncts the IC in Aquarius, so I have always felt lucky to have this placement. IP: Logged |

"I love change and can't stand it when people refuse to change" i'm the opposite, but i think thats because of the heavy influence in earth signs in my chart. i literally have 4 planets in an earth sign, 4 in water signs, and 2 in fire signs. none in air signs so i dont see the need to change. i prefer things the way they are unless its for the WAAY better------------------ We have eyes yet we do not see IP: Logged |

I have Aquarius on the IC, and we moved around a lot. I hated being uprooted in my teens, when we were finally settling in, but I didn't mind when I was younger - we always met good people. We also usually had a busy household. My mother was run off her feet, being a single mother, and she was there for her family and friends who overtook her, and seemed to forget that she had a life, children to give attention to, etc. I understood, but it got on my nerves, the way they were on her as soon as she walked in the door. Part of the reason I didn't talk about my own problems to her - when she would have welcomed it - was that she heard it from so many other people. I have Uranus conjunct ascendant, from the 12th, trine Mars in the 4th, inconjunct Moon/Venus, opposing Sun. With access to public transport, I was a lot more independent than I am now. I actually upset my Mother a few times, due to my taking chances she didn't appreciate. I didn't like not being able to get myself from A to B, without a car (I can't drive, although I never intended to go this long without learning) when we moved to California, but I loved being able to finish school at home - I was a good student, and liked being able to move around with my work, not have to deal with the BS that came socially. I had my freedom to work as I pleased, and to be around good people. I also have a lot of Aqua's in my family, and love them. I also don't like to see people shut out - I see everyone as being worth knowing in some way, and I've struggled with that when upset with someone (enough to not be around them for a while), or when it came to being shut out by others (for no good reason). I didn't want to hurt them, just because they'd hurt me - I could see past that when they needed someone, which could lead to me being seen as a doormat (I'm not) - it ended up being a good thing for me in one school.
