MysticMelody,

Wow. That actually sounds like an appropriately scary transit for Pluto in Virgo in 8th.

I need to read up on the 3rd house more, because that's where my Pluto is situated. I'm guessing it will affect siblings, education, travelling, something or another?

Transiting Pluto in Capricorn in 5th house is the concern. I think authority, government, father figures in the house of relationships and sex, or something? It's been in my 5th house for a while - and let me tell ya - not fun! But, the 6th house is next... I'm just hoping for a complete regeneration of health...

Like radical plastic surgery that makes me look like a Barbie, and to be rejuvenated to my early 20's. Right? Haha. With my luck It'll be a mental breakdown and a dramatic increase of weight!

NickiG,

Do you mean it's retrograde? Or, like it's opposite? Where's your chart?

NickiG,

Haha. Yeah, retrograde planets will appear to move in the opposite direction for a period of time. Then, they will start to move the normal way.

I always liked Star Trek, The Next Generation.

But, I don't watch T.V. anymore, really. I can't stand commercials, and I think the internet is better.

Cap is my AC and moon but PL isn't to my moon yet. It affected my work situation, that is sure... but Saturn was hitting so strongly too it is really hard for me to pin point and guess exactly how it impacted. It was more of a combined effort. It did have to do with my daughter as well, and protecting her, but nothing is really hitting my 5th, other than natal Saturn... I don't know. Your query is a little too much for me to interpret with my skill levels. There are many talented astrologers here who do a great job combining aspects. I would ask what you just brought up in a new thread requesting some help interpreting that configuration. I am now lost in my mind wondering about your Virgo/8th comment and what it all means in combination with the rest of my experience. I'm still a beginner in many ways...

Well, MysticMelody, the way I think of it is (with your transit) was the virgo in pluto - suddenly having anxiety and difficulty focusing. Isn't virgo all about analysis and thinking?

I guess the capricorn pluto was the college or authority aspect bearing down on your virgo pluto.

I have a lot of planets in the 3rd house, which I know rules Gemini. For whatever reason, I just never pay much attention to that sign or house, because it seems simplistic to me, like there's not much to it, other than a bunch of mercurial, back and forth, changing of mind and chasing excitements with travels.

I'll ask another time with another thread for more in depth with my upcoming stuff. Maybe someone who knows will read this thread and post, too.

NickiG,

That's a VERY strange dream. I never had the hots for DATA. Yes, Luke Picard. (is that the spelling?). He's hot in a refined, smart and serious way...

Ok, how about this for a disturbing dream?

This was from when I was younger...

The guy from Night Rider...David Hasselhoff throwing hot dogs at me. Yes. I feel embarrassed just remembering it...

hehe "hots" for Star Trek characters. I'm a Spock girl. (speaking of Virgo)

I'm half asleep but I just wanted to say that your comments, PlutoSquared, were brilliant. Thank you so much. I'm so glad I tried to give you some insight, because you certainly repaid me above and beyond with some fabulous wisdom. Have a great night and I hope very much you get some more comments.

You know, I'm thinking that maybe the 3rd house might relate to things I experience while I was in grade school? Like the things I learned when I was young? Third house rules lower education, 9th is higher education...which would make a lot of sense, in a way.

Maybe the Pluto transit is going to highlight the emotional, difficulties and losses associated with the lower mind, lower base education of the world...(moon, pluto, mars, and saturn) in my chart???

Then, take it's toll on my higher mind regarding religion and philosophy stuff (the sun and mercury)... hmmmmm.... very, very interesting tangent I found tonight...

Just to get you thinking because I'm sure you'll figure out some excellent interpretations... I see 3rd house as Communication and 9th as Spirituality and expanding the mind, coupled with what you said about lower and higher mind... and your Mars is in the third in Libra so Pluto will be creating transformations regarding communication in relationships and it looks like your particular chart offers you a choice to flow the energy through the higher part of the chart...
just some thoughts to get your mind going.

I am a Gemini . The third house is so many wonderful things.
It is communication:how you communicate and hence your quality of communication with other.
It is the mind and so is about things which use the mind like books, perhaps humor, I am not sure.
I don't have any planets in the 3rd house but I have a Gemini Sun and Mercury in the 8th house. I have a Gemini Venus in the 7th house.

PlutoSquared - I feel you lol
I've been going through the T. Pluto conjunct my Mars and Neptune in Capricorn and trine my Venus. Later, it will square my Aries Sun, and conjunct my Moon in Capricorn - and then square my Venus.

I would say - Don't worry much and enjoy the ride. So far, so good - in my case

I mean difficult things are bound to happen in life and you roll with the punches, as we all do. I am sure you will be fine.

On the bright side - Jupiter & Uranus are soon comin' back to town in Aries - so we're bound to have an interesting and upbeat year in 2011.

MysticMelody,

Wow, that was a very cool way of looking at it... especially with the communication aspect...

Transformation with communication through relationships...

I'm going to think on that for a bit
