I've got some silliness.

I LOVE coffee. I quite possibly might worship it. I drink it every day and all day (although now that I'm getting a bit older, I make myself stop at 5 PM). I drink dark roast coffee, I brew it strong, I drink it black, and I can even drink it after it has become bitter & cold.

Fellow coffee worshippers: Let's try to make some astrological sense of this.

Hi Kfn

I love coffee, too. Have you ever tried Turkish coffee?
That is my favorite.
I don't know the Astrological aspects for liking coffee but I am open to any

Look up asteroid Coffee. I like Tea better, I drink one called Blue Lotus White Tea and I am addicted to it.. I will drink like 5 cups or more a day. Good thing is it makes you beautiful and healthy.

I have asteroid Tea in the fifth house trine my Chiron. Yum.

I don't like Coffee tho, it messes up your body too much.

I don't like coffee, but I do like the smell of it brewing.

I drink tea, as well. I used to drink mint tea, in addition to a mug or two of caffeinated (with milk and sugar). For the past four years, one of my favourites has been Constant Comment, with milk and sugar, or a creamy Vanilla Chai (which was too sweet for me at first). Unfortunately, neither of these are that healthy. I should have made a smoothie a while ago - I do like them, once I actually make them - but I wanted some CC.

Is there any asteroid anywhere, called "milk", 'cause I'd like to see where that is in my chart, I'm addicted to milk...LOL...

Coffee not so much, tea not at all, juices very rarely & I don't (never did and never will) drink any alcohol beverages...Only water & milk for me, for some strange reason...

Is there any astrological explanation? I mean, my Neptune is pretty strong, but I find alcohol repulsive, isn't that kinda weird?

I don't see an asteroid named Coffee on astro.com. And I was under the impression that coffee is actually good for you if it's brewed well. Given, I do overdo it.

It's basically not good for you. It's concentrated caffeine...

Caffeine is bad.

coffee is about 2% caffeine. coffee/caffeine drinkers are less likely to be suicidal than their decaf brethren. coffee is loaded with antioxidants too.

it is, in short, quite good for you though like most things too much is NOT!!

i like mine with milk, which apparently neutralizes some of the worst factors. it must be strong dark coffee and hot milk.

no idea what the astrology of coffee-love would be...!!

Coffee isn't good for you katatonic. If only 2 percent than why does it wake you up?

I prefer to get antioxidants from something that doesn't age me.

if i remember you are very young to be worried about ageing!! let's just say that i come from a family of coffee drinkers whose doctors have to check their charts to see how old they are because they tend to look and act 20 years younger...

of course you can drink too much WATER if you really work at it!

back in the day when i was all het up about butter and dairy in general my mother said..."too much of anything can be bad fro you, but those substitute butters are full of unnatural substances, so i'll stick with the original..."

lo and behold, she was right; as she was about moderation and keeping active being the best recipe for a long healthy life...

I don't like coffee much. I usually drink natural coffee-substitutes. They taste kind of like coffee but less "intense".

I love iced-chocolates and shakes - most of all.
Whenever I'm out somewhere I get an iced-chocolate.

I drink LOTS of water to.

:edit: Chaos, I'm basically like you and I also have a strong Neptune lol

The only seriously coffee-addicted person I know is:
Cancer Sun
Taurus Moon
Gemini Mercury
Cancer Venus
Leo Mars

Possibly Leo AC

:edit: Actually I thought of two other people and they both have a Cancer-Leo mix lol
Coincidence?

I know of a Taurus who loves coffee, but really cut back for health reasons (and insomnia). They made one special coffee on Sunday mornings (cafe con leche? whatever that is, when it's at home - I'll have to google).

My mother likes coffee, but doesn't adore it. Same for my father. (I once admitted that I wished I liked coffee, because the coffee drinkers made their coffee sound so good. It annoyed me whenever the name became so long as to sound like a science experiment, though.)

I love coffee as well. I drink around 2 cups a day and now my friends and family suspect coffee has replaced the blood in my veins. I'm especially addicted to Tim Horton's who is a cruel mistress that's enslaved many many Cdns.

I read somewhere that 2 cups of coffee a day is supposed to be good for you! Well, I'll admit that might just be select hearing on my part.

Well, one of the Neptune's facets is addiction.
Ppl with strong Neptune tend to be susceptible to all things addictive. Its either alcohol, or drugs, or smoking, or anything in life that has addictive quality, including falling in love - the initial stages of it.
All of that falls under Neptune domain.

Hmm..if that's the case I'm glad my only addiction is coffee. I'm doing pretty well! Where's my double double?

On a side note, I'm also a cancer sun with some leo in my chart.

I believe sags are like a living version of coffee. I don't drink bitter liquids designed to park you in the restroom within 5 minutes of consumption. Haha. In the morning, I just dance or jump up and down until I feel energetic. Then I go off optimistically into the world to spread some happy smiles, waves and news.

That being said, I've been sufficently conned into coffee love! Saturday morning, someone made me a spinach frappucino and that was fantastic. I don't know if spinach frappucino is a thing, but I'm very gullible. I'll drink anything tasty, esp out of a high end blender. I'm a total blender snob.

My ex got me addicted to the chocolate chip frappe at McD during our 3AM roadtrips. If I ever book gigs next to a Starbucks, I usually get something like a double chocolate chip frappucino when it's not freezing or a peppermint mocha in winter.

So basically, bitter = no. Tasty but bad for me = yes

Total consumption less than 15 cups a year.

But please don't let my attitude stop you from your enthusiasm for coffee! Sometimes I just need to voice my opinion about anything and everything
