< Sag Sun/Scp Venus... I am VERY aware of my actions and overly empathic. (but I have Neptune conj my Sun) I think something else has to be added to the mix. Violet, I'm so sorry about your situation. I can related a little bit. My dad has pulled a gun on me b/c he was angry over something not even related to me (He has a stellium and Moon in Scorpio in the 8th house and another stellium and Sun in Aquarius- all the energy is squaring each other) BUT his Nessus is conj my Moon... OK...I got a REAL lucky break and got my Auntie on the phone who said she believes she remembers her brother's birth time, and so here is the Synastry. You guys are awesome. This is so validating to me to be getting some insight. I've never even spoken of this to anyone except my partner. I can knit you something nice in return! Taking requests!! and Pluto you are so spot on. i get hung up on losers like you wouldn't believe.Doesn't matter how bad they treat me, I'm all like "I know they didn't really mean it, it's just their way" and then I keep going back for more! Virgos and Pisces men especially...
I'm with a really good guy now, but I had to fight that instinct in me to go running from him- even though I knew he would (and does) worship the ground I walk on and is a constantly happy and stable person.IP: Logged |

Racole I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to you... ((((hugs))))This G hid in a closet and waited until I was asleep and put a pillow over my head to suffocate me. He sat on me to hold me down so I couldn't escape. I have no idea what made him stop. I have always felt like I am watched over by angels ( everyone says that right?) and even have a bit of angel "in me" so I think there was divine intervention or maybe he realized what he was doing. It was like he was possessed. When I was a little girl we were so close. I mean, he was super strict and could be violent, but we had a telepathic bond. Usually his violence was explosive, and so this was the only time it was stealthy like that. He never touched a hair on my head physically after that, though he can hurt just as badly with his words and actions. And we have never spoken about the incident.
Anyway, you and all people who experience this kind of violence have my compassion and friendship. Thank you for being willing to share your experience. It helps! IP: Logged |

OMG FrozenQueen this is SPOT ON. Yep, he's a very "religious" man. Sunday School teacher, Church Deacon, but it's all about wanting to earn that place of glory in heaven. I heard him say many times that he will accept what people think about him on Earth because he KNOWS he will sit at the right hand of God in heaven. He'll START to approach life in a more meaningful way, say things that make me think he's changing, but then fall back on the same dogma.
Yeah, he is THE authority figure in my life...though I'm working really hard at being my own. I can't explain it, but if you have a father like this, it is VERY hard not to bend to their demands. My only way to escape it was to flat out defy him and leave his hemisphere.
The more I defied him, the angrier and more explosive he becomes. Even now, when as an adult I've tried to confront him on his rage, he retreats in seething anger and lashes out with hurtful remarks (but cries too. he is a passionate man).
Yep, he says he sees the fuller expression of himself in me. He has always wanted to travel, but never did. I travel all over the world and have a very rich spiritual and creative life. He both admires this but also just doesn't understand why I do it. I mean, it's not for family, it's for ME. He has held himself in terrible situations because he believes his responsibility to God and family cannot EVER be broken. Whereas I'm like "hey, if it no longer makes you happy...move on!"
He has chilled out over the years, but that inner anger is still there. He's one of those "quiet ragers" who will then explode with no warning. IP: Logged |

It is the guilt of being the bringer of both joy and pain that I feel that can at times keep me attached to him emotionally when I shouldn't. I really pity him. He had a LOT of potential, but a lot of it has been wasted because of his dogmatism and inflexibility. He wanted the perfect family/life with the white picket fence, and he was unable to accept and adapt when that didn't happen. terrorized us all with his own anger at the inability to control what he thought he should have gotten from life! Interestingly, I am the ONLY person, in his entire life (and I mean everyone) who defies him. I guess because I know that when he tried to kill me, my spirit was stronger, and so I will defy him. Missed out on this thread.
VioletFlyer's dad's Nessus quincunxes her Saturn exact. Had it been a square, things would have gotten even more ugly and dangerous.
His Nessus probably opposes his Moon with a tighter orb. The man has a Psychopath signature, he has not been able to tackle the Mars square Chiron and Neptune squaring Nodes combination affliction, especially because the Scorpio Moon thirsted for more control over his Scorpio daughter.
