The last time Venus was Rx in Scorpio was in 2002.

Venus and Mars will form a conjunction on October 2nd at 12 Scorpio.

Venus will stay in Scorpio until Janurary 2011!

Venus is my chart ruler, but the only aspect the Venus/Mars conjunction will make to my chart is opposing my Vertex exact.

Are you guy's ready for another crazy love adventure this fall/winter?

the venus/mars conjunction on october 2nd will exactly conjunct my mars at 12 scorpio in my 10th house mars rules my IC and my 11th house.

The main thing about retrograde Venus is that it's a time for introspection,going over things,re-evaluating things that are ruled by Venus like love,relationships,partnerships,value systems,and money.

The way to handle the retrograde Venus is to be careful with those Venus matters.

Usually bad things happen during retrograde Venus because do things without considering the consequences or are not being careful in some way.

It could also be a period of dealing with love,relationships from the past whether past in the present or a pastlife. It might even present a dilemma. You might be having a good love relationship with somebody, and then suddenly an ex love relationship partner comes back into you life and tells you that he/she wants you. You end up realizing that you still feel a connection to him/her. You are then feeling torn between your current partner and your ex-partner, and you ultimately have to make that choice.

I had something similar,and it actually involved 3 women. I made the wrong choice,and I got hurt by it. Sex,jealousy,and secrets,and were involved.

I had retrograde Venus conjunct North Lunar Node in Scorpio in 7th in opposition to most otherworldy Sedna-South Lunar Node conjunction squared by Mars-Ceres conjunction in Leo in 5th during that Solar Return of my 23rd year.

I can't blame retrograde Venus. I blame myself. If I had made the right choices, I would have been in a good relationship with the right woman regardless if Venus is retrograde or not.

I am not going to make the same mistake during this next Solar Return Venus retrograde period. I am going to be very careful. I am going to do my best to make the right decisions. I will avoid any potential triangles. If I am in a dilemma, I will do my best to resolve it and be honest and straightforward about it.

I know that Sun conjunct retrograde Venus with 16 minutes in my next Solar Return period indicates a major period for me to make important choices about matters of the heart. Retrograde Venus doesn't indicate lack of love opportunities. In fact, it can indicate numerous love opportunities to the point that you are forced to make a choice which could prove confusing and stressful.
The sextile Pluto-Ceres-North Lunar Node in 11th and trine South Lunar Node in 5th also add emphasis that romantic,love opportunities will come. The square to Ascendant/Descendant can indicate the possible stress and friction involving romance,love which could be from having to make a choice. With the Sun-Venus conjunction in 9th, it will involve expansion,belief systems,foreigners,long distance travel,higher learning,other cultures.

The main thing is that I have to be true to myself and others.

I already feel that there is already setup going on.

Free will is the ultimate factor. I can't stress that enough.

If Venus has just hit the early degrees of Scorpio then she's sitting on my Mercury as we speak. My natal Venus is at 24 degrees so I won't be feeling that till later I suppose.

So it's a Venus return for me yeah? Is this generally a good thing? I'm not so sure seeing as my Scorpio placements are also in the 8th house as well.

If you are timid,evasive,self-undoing,repressive, then of of course, bad things will happen to you during the retrograde transit. That's just common sense.

Retrograde Venus could be about your value systems being challenged. It could be realizing that money isn't everything, and that self worth,self esteem is more important. It could be about loving yourself first before somebody loves you.
You could be given the choice of love relationships based on superficial stuff that involve the material or love relationships based on deep stuff that involve the spiritual. It could be about the beautiful inside versus beautiful outside.

An interesting thing for me is to take a closer look at which parts of my chart will be touched twice or even three times durin such a rx-phase of a planet. My method is simple: I just made an excel-table with all the 360 sign degrees vom 0° Aries to 29° Pisces. Into that table I wrote all the house cusps, planets, asteroids, arabic parts an midpoints in my chart. This is, at times, much easier to study than a wheel-chart - because it would be so full with planets and parts that I could hardly see anything there. With that Excel-table I can have a quick overview, which "ZONE" of my chart will be touched, how the "STORY" of a rx-phase might develop... I do believe that rx-phases are designed for a re-evaluation, finding new clues and having to deal with a topic more thoroughly.

To give you an example of my "Excel-method": These are the points that Venus will cross on her current rx-phase, I just coppied & pasted them from my document:

Excel-method for Venus-rx-movement: My chart-points from 27° Libra to 13° Scorpio, in chronological order (sorted by degrees - like a "script" for rx-Venus:

I don't see why people have to go crazy during the Venus-Mars conjunction

I don't see why I have to.

planets don't rule me

I am responsible for my own life.

Any any mistakes that I might make during the retrograde planetary period are my fault based on bad choices that I made and not the fault of a retrograde planet.

I could just see it now

a man kills his exgf during the retrograde Venus in Scorpio, and blames it on retrograde Venus conjunct Mars in Scorpio.

ummm.....no...it's his fault because he made the wrong choice. He is responsible for his own actions. He should be held accountable.

Retrograde planet defense won't work in court,and it shouldn't.
