I am gonna suggest something, Teasel. You have seen my horrible struggle since I got on LL.
I ,finally, am having a little peace. IQ set me on my path,in a way because he CONFIRMED my reality.
He was the only person who confirmed what my heart knew.
Then, I accepted myself,in a way.
It is hard to describe all that happened but IQ SEEING my mother was the starting point.

Perhaps, if you had your reality verified, it might help you to see that you are not flawed or bad but you had situations which overwhelmed you and set you in a hole.

I hope I am not being too intrusive ,Teasel. I will erase everything on this thread if you would like.
If I was being too intrusive, please forgive me.
Let me know if you want me to erase .
Our wounds are very tender and words ,even ones trying to be helpful, can feel wounding in themselves.

NESSUS/DEJANIRA represent not just abuse but also the consequences of abuse and the karmic cycle. In a natal, NESSUS depicts not just our capability of inflicting abuse upon others in the present, but also where we have suffered in the past and where we can break the cycle by letting go of our attachment to 'revenge'.

For the karmic chain can be broken two ways, by the perpetrator and by the victim, and no matter who breaks it, the benefit belongs to both.

The case is similar in synastry, and NESSUS/DEJANIRA contacts depict vital karmic hot-spots where we can release ourselves from the burden of karma. The so-called harsh aspects are especially helpful in this regard.

It is upto the individuals involved in a relationship to use NESSUS/DEJANIRA to free themselves of the karmic cycle or continue to play the alternate roles of ABUSER and ABUSED.

im glad you followed the link on the book.but if you dont feel it right for you now,then it doenst matter anyway.

there are tons of books out there!i started with the loa books,but to me they arent the ones that tells you the real deal.

there were two books that really helped me a huge deal when i was passing through my existencial crisis.and i must say...some books really can have a great impact on us,specially cause if you dont go with an open mind,they can blow up our mind in a second.

for instance i started reading one - busting loose from the money game-where it talks about subjective reality - those are the most complex ones..but reading your post...reminded myself some years ago.

i found my solace in the conversations with God book and celestine prophecy. then i went to Florence Scovell ( which i loved) and now im letting all things sink in.

i must say that i also had anxiety and social phobias that i couldnt explain.

today im a different person - i wont tell you that all the anxiety went away -
but now im livnig more of what i was supposed to live - in a spiritual way.

it is said that we dont have a specific purpose in Life,like many might think.our only Purpose is to experience Life,and ourselves the best that we can - in a positive way - and while i was stuck in all my phobias and anxiety i wanst really doint that,nor being the person i was really inside of me.

so all i can is that...all the books that i felt compeled to read,from the heart-really pushed me forward.

I hope you find the way just like i did
