People are often fascinated by seemingly fated - and 'serendipitous' relationships.I think these relationships are characterised by chance encounters (at least - some of the time). I find it interesting that I'm often at the same place and time with *those* people I have close conjunctions with. If I knew nothing of astrology and was crushing on a person I have conjunctions with - I might think - "wow - both myself and X are in this CD shop right now. What were the odds?" I guess there is a feeling that I drew them to me or that we have a connection - but in reality - could it be transits affecting both of us? For instance - lets say we had conjunct Mercuries - and transiting Venus was conjunct this conjunction. This would explain why we'd both be purchasing music. Have you had any fated - seemingly chance encounters that stick out in memory?
It would be great if you could post the synastry! PS. I tried to test this. It's probably just coincidence that it worked for me...
My friend has Leo Sun-Scorp Mars - Gem Moon.
So does my love, at similar degrees. I asked her to tell me the next important event in her life - that she knows of. This was a theatre production she was involved in. We both went to this and ------------------------------
My guy was there!

It's probably a coincidence... but it also used to happen with my Pisces friend (she has Taurus Moon, Ven & Mar in Aries) - At the time I was dating a Pisces guy (Pisces Moon, Aries Ven & Mec - Taurus Mars).
The same sort of situations occurred.
My friend would convince me to go somewhere - and we'd accidentally bump into him.

On my 25th Bday.. I went out with all the girls, they wanted to go to the usual spot, but I didnt want to go, I wanted to do something different... Well We went to the usual spot... I saw this guy from across the room, I was mesmerized.. I said ooo I want that for my Bday... lol.. Well an hour or so later, that guys friend approached me. Saying Hey Lioness remember me from HS? blah blah well so I met the guy.. We clicked right away..
He followed me home, and we sat on the porch until 8am talking... Found out we went to HS together, but we didnt know each other then. He also told me he wasnt going to go that night, he was "talked" into it.. We were seeing each other for a few months.. Then we split... Then a month later we ran into each other at another bar we talked and got together a few more times.. Then we split.. I then met my future husband after this.. Then two years later on my 27th b-day. I was walking into a store, I was looking down into my purse and I ran into some one.. I said sorry as I looked up.. It was him. We talked for a few.. ( I had gotten married in between the time..)
That was the last time I saw him..
But I always wonder about him.. I even have his pictures in my desk at work.. He did call me a few years later, when his dad pasted away, wanting me to go, but I was married and didnt go.. He is for sure is that "What If" guy.. Here is our Synastry.. I dont know his time.. But I picked Libra because he has the Libra eyes...  IP: Logged |

I am pretty certain that in any kind of meeting, especially the ones with lasting impression, strong transits or progressions were in play for both of them.
As a matter of fact I think that these shared transits will highlight certain areas of the synastry / composite, while "untouched" areas will remain dormant for the moment.IP: Logged |

the love of my life.
we grew up less than 10 minutes from each other but never met until we were 18. we took music lessons at the same school, both have 2 moms: one who is a gemini and the other who is the taurus. his step mom is the taurus and my bio mom is the taurus. my adoptive mom is a gemini and his bio mom is gemini.the first time we met was in june 2002 at a rehearsal for a show that never happened. i thought him and all his friends were dumb and immature. they annoyed the crap out of me. the second time we met was by chance in april 2007 at at gig. i didn't bring my band so his band played. he blew our one of my monitors playing the drums so loud. but i was sooooo attracted to him. his girlfriend at the time was there. but i did some facebook research and asking around about who he was. i didn't remember him from our first meeting. the third time is always the charm. he was playing drums for an opening act at a concert i was at. i recognized him and had my eye out for him since our previous meeting. by this time, i remembered him from our first meeting. i reminded him and he remembered too. we were inseparable from the moment forward. here is the synastry.
 and composite. i posted this because of the 5th house sun and the musical component that surrounded our meeting and initial connection.

I've only got to share, because Chiron is involved in my encounter. One night, the friday before my 22nd b-day I was very down at this bar because my dad was injured from a bicycling accident and my best friend was all over this guy, so I was being ignored and started doing the "poor me" Leo self-pity. But when I had first sat at the bar, there was this guy that was staring at me, and I told myself he wasn't looking at me (because he was my age and attractive, lol). Later that night he sat next to me and said hi, and from there my cue was to charm him up. I had spotted him intitially, thinking there was somethinf about him, yet I brushed it off. But we ended up talking until the bar closed, he walked me half way to my place and then we went on another date that following wednesday, and had a very special night. After that night, I didn't hear from him for almost 2 months. In fact I was still seeing someone else at the time and I really am fortunate to have ended that. So randomly last friday, he spots me leaving a show and approaches me, I was baffled, I thought he wasn't interested, considering it had been almost two months, yet he wanted to hang out with me, he even ditched his friends. And we later found out that we have both been to the radiest city in Spain and there is some connection between us that I can't pinpoint, maybe its transits, progessions, etc... But he is a Pisces with Cancer Moon and I am a Leo with Pisces Moon - random, yet he has Taurus Mars conjunct my Venus-Mars midpoint, need I say more? Oh and his Chiron is conjunct my Dsc. VertiverThis Pisces that you met.. His Chiron conjuncts your Dsc? The Pisces that I met my Chiron conjuncts his DSC.. (not in the post above, that was a long time ago) Have you fiqured out that effect/energy yet? Ive been trying to understand how that effects him. IP: Logged |

Lioness, the only theory I've got is that he always seems to appear when I'm feeling down and mopey. But Chiron isn't very well aspected in his chart, its square his Sun and widely trine his Venus and opposite his Saturn. So not sure if that is such a positive thing to have his chiron conjunct my Desc.?IP: Logged |
