Yep, I'm in Coastal Carolina unfortunately. Looking to move either to Chapel Hill, Charlotte, or back to New England.

Really? Coz that's what everyone around me uses, in various combinations. Its always either Coastal or Eastern Carolina.

I'm seriously looking to go out onto a retreat to the Mountains. It sounds wonderful and mysterious with all that Cherokee Territory and the nature and the consistency in the change of seasons.

we usually use eastern carolina around where i am...LOL, consistency of changing seasons...yup, only in the mountains of NC..around here, since we're so close to the ocean, its mild, there are some winter days where you dont need a jacket at all...i remember one january day it was HOT

Congrats Hera!!!

This would be my favourite car right now:

I've always liked Mercedes and I've always liked convertibles.
My favourite car colour is black or dark silver.

My favorites are:

Virgo is on the cusp of 3rd house, in Sideral it's on Leo.

3rd house ruler Mercury oppose Pluto. In Equal Pluto is in the 3rd.

My 3rd is Leo - Sun in Aries 11th.

I wouldn't mind mild winters on the Coast if it actually *looked* nice, and there was more consistency (eg. if it was always hot, as opposed to 90 degrees one day and then 0 degrees the next). Florida always looks beautiful even in the winter time because the flora doesn't rot and die, and its always warm. On a January day in Eastern Carolina, I don't know from day to day whether I should wear a heavy coat or none at all and it annoys me. Plus everything is gray, brown, wet, and DEAD. Its so miserable to look at everyday. Not like New England, where there was a mystique to it....and some nice snow.

I've actually been waiting for things to cool down, but its still blazing around here. Its consistently been 90-100 degrees for the last month. Usually it'll atleast come down to 70 by now.

I only think its ugly in the wintertime. In the summer, it can be very pretty around here.

Most cop cars are the Crown Vics. And the FBI seems to favour black suburbans with tinted windows...so much for being inconspicuous

Betty Boop,

Actually, I prefer this color "platinum bronze", than the black one. It's a very cool color, looks much more beautiful and elegant to me!

Lovely images, everyone! Wonderful wheels heehee!

SpooL, nice choice! I also have Venus in Taurus in the 3rd and I love your Nissan. What aspects does your Cancer Mars (ruler of the 3rd make)? Does it describe your driving style?

Lara,
So your 3H ruler is Venus, in Aries? Don't remember exactly. But that might be responsible for the quick reflexes.

HD,
Thank you for that link. I wish I could find more info about car astrology LOL. Well, in lack of, I searched for a few asteroids. Suzuki (my 1st car) is in my 1st house, sextile with my Sun. Makes perfect sense. However, Mercedes is in my 3rd, widely conjunct Venus, and this explains A LOT! Mmmmmmm... those Mercedes A-class, yumm!!!

PA! Hey there you! How's everything? I LOVE that Yaris, it was one of my options for my 1st car! Toyota asteroid is in my 2nd house, conjunct my Sun. I guess the stars agree that I must own one sometime.

BM, fellow Aries Mars in the 3rd!! You hate driving? Wow... Where's your Neptune and what aspects does it make?

Betty, I must say your taste in cars is exquisite! LOL. I love black cars, too. A friend of mine told me (I don't know the original source, probably an article somewhere) that usually serious people prefer black cars (makes sense for your Cap Moon and my Cap Asc), ambitious people like silver ones. I don't remember about other colours, I wish I did, because my car is going to be sand-ish.

Has anyone checked car asteroids? Do you think their placement and aspects describes your relationship with them? How about the transits/progressions for when you bought them?
I'm currently having t-Suzuki (8H) opposite Sun (2H), but in the Solar Arc it's quintile Moon (7H ruler - contracts) and Neptune (2H ruler)!

The Crown Vic was like driving directly from your sofa.
I loved it cuz it had good visibility and I was always afraid of getting in an accident

Hera/Izo,

To answer your question I have had no accidents on my record.

But, I used to get a lot of parking and traffic tickets.

The reason why I'm not a fan of mustangs and other fast
cars is a driver in a smaller car could get away with driving 50 km/h in a 40 km/h zone.

While a driver in a Mustang whould get "crucified" and is a lot more
obvious.

Espically, In a recessionary period I whouldn't want to be in a fast car as a lot of cops will start
issuing tickets to fund there departments, local goverments and issue you a ticket over little things.

A clasmate of mine got a ticket for stoping over the line. She didn't get any points on it.

So anything to make me less of a target is good.

Otherwise, I'd be driving a Mitsubishi lancer right now.

Ami Anne,

LoL, You Drive a Crown Victoria?, You should take off the hub caps off your tires. I gurantee you'll never
get mistreated by other motrists thinking your a undercover police car.

My Neptune's in Cap/12th house, and it trines my Moon, opposes my Mercury, and sextiles my Pluto.

And to be clear, I don't hate driving on its own....I hate the unneccesary BS that comes with it (for me atleast). Sounds more like my Mars being squared by Uranus/Saturn: My Mars being me, the driver, my Uranus being my Car, and Saturn representing all the BS hindrances I encounter on the road daily (ridiculously slow drivers, BS cops, busted air conditioner, etc. )

Oh, and I think Crown Victorias should DIAF. I always slow down everytime I see one now.
