I'm very excited about getting my first car. I've had a licence for 9 years, but didn't use it much, because, to tell the truth, driving scared the hell out of me. I don't know if it's because of my father's car accidents when I was little, the hundreds of patients involved in accidents I've seen in the ER or my own devil, Mars in the 3rd. But I'm finally getting to that point when I feel I'm ready for it. I've been thinking (worrying, better said) about my 3rd house Aries Mars, in an Aries ruled 3rd house. I don't think I'm a fast or impulsive driver (not yet, anyways), but I worry about accidents. My Mars makes a square to my Ascendant and 2 oppositions, to Saturn, chart ruler (which I guess is responsible for my late start as a driver) and Pluto... PLUTO! *bites fingernails* I hope it won't be as bad as my dark thoughts, I will try to be as cautious as possible. I can't allow fear to hold me back forever. But anyways, I am curious to learn about your 3rd houses and your driving experience, the type of cars you like etc. Wouldn't mind to see some lovely curved beauties in this thread, either! I'm getting a small, cute city car, which fortunately isn't very fast, but it's practical for my needs. I think it's a more Gemini type of car, not an Aries type, but it will have to do for now. ------------------ *previously Izo* Every day is a battle with yourself, one you can never win, nor lose, nor abandon IP: Logged |

Ooooohh, Nicki!! That's indeed a hottie!! A bit extravagant for my taste, I usually like more classical looking cars, but very, very nice. Where is your Sun and what aspects does it make?------------------ *previously Izo* Every day is a battle with yourself, one you can never win, nor lose, nor abandon IP: Logged |

The best ride I ever had was with my ex, the Bull. He drives a black Audi A4, very classic and powerful looking. Guess what he has on his 3rd house cusp? Scorpio, with Pluto in the 2nd house. He's the driver I've felt safest with, he has Saturn in the 3rd, he drives very calm and smoothly. ------------------ *previously Izo* Every day is a battle with yourself, one you can never win, nor lose, nor abandon IP: Logged |

I suspect Moon in the 3rd might be responsible for that affirmation. It's pretty cool!Frozen, Wow, you have quite a wishlist there! On the luxurious side, mmmm... Convertibles me likey also! Mercury in the 3rd here, Venus as well! Not that I'm going to afford one in the next 10-15 years, but a little daydreaming can't hurt! ------------------ *previously Izo* Every day is a battle with yourself, one you can never win, nor lose, nor abandon IP: Logged |

3rd House Aries/Taurus Cusp. The only planet whould be my Venus in taurus. Unlike most people I don't mine long drives to and from home. My Distance tolerance is 2 hours in all directions. Anything more then 2 hours I whould consider a trip. So, I guess you can say I feel at home behind the wheel. I'm typically a fan of 4x4's but the gas is always an issue. Right now I'm driving a 2009 Nissan Sentra. Great on gas, low repair cost, gives a lot back for vary little. ------------------------ Capircorn Rising Gemini Sun Aries Moon Mercury in Gemini venus in Tarrus Mars Cancer IP: Logged |

GO LIONESS!! Mustang Sally is a great tune for a great car I have (i think lol) libra 3rd cusp. I'm mad about cars. I drive extremely fast and very carefully. I never crash cos my reactions are blindingly quick and i've won races on a track. My favourite car is a sexy, menacing, male looking 2-seater TVR Tuscan 5L bolted to a V8 engine - nothing else. I'd like a steel dash and a skull for a gear knob and no passengers! My other fave cars are: Ford GT40 mustang (old) 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Mercedes gull-wing Porsche 911 turbo a go-kart

Thats right LARA If it aint got a V8 I aint driving it!!! lolThere's a joke at work.. (Im the only female manager in my building.) The guys at work laugh at the "male managers" and say yeah you got a 4 or 6 banger while Lioness has the 5.0... Whats up with that.. They say the male managers are being put to shame by me... ROARRRRRR !!!hahaha totally with you on V8. When i bought my VW (i had kids and so sold my V8 2-seater) i asked the salesman if it had a V8 engine. He looked at me in disgust and i looked at him as if to say "you haven't lived mate" IP: Logged |

OOo nooo.. I still wont give up my "car" lol..When my daughter was younger I had a Mazda 626 turbo.. (4 dr) but it had the pick me up. You'll never see me in a Van.. Worst case I do have my Avalanche Truck which is 4x4, V8.. Tow capable. Only the gas is a B1@$Ch! I think it takes 2 gallons just to start it.. I havent driven it in months.. The battery is even dead! I had to register it as heavy duty equipment. Dont even ASK about the Tags.. blahhhhh... IP: Logged |

hee heeyeah if it's sensible it better find another owner lol 2 gallons to start it? figures... thats a sign it's a keeper I thought about getting a trailer for the 3 kids but realised it would slow me down and lower my lovely torque. I once got stopped by the cops doing 60mph round a right hand turn and he initially gave me 3 points and sat me in the car to watch the video playback, after which i asked him if i could watch it again as my cornering was so cool - i got 5 points. Miserable sod! If it throbs drive it... lol IP: Logged |

Happy Dragon & Lara.I was caught on speed camera doing 138 in a 110 zone. I managed to talk my way out of it. Mercury in Aries in 1st - gift of the gab - and some blind luck. So this would be a textbook quad-Aries car: Perhaps if I had the budget. I don't, and I like small cars and drive one of these: I love my little car. 3rd house = Gemini, ruler in Aries/1st house. Pisces on the 3rd house Cusp/ Mars in Aries in the 3rd. I hate driving with a passion...even though I'm a very fast driver. My timing's pretty good though, so I've never been in a serious accident. I dunno, being on the road irritates me to no end because I'm a Rhode Island Driver stuck in North Carolina: the land of slow and/or retarded drivers. I prefer sporty cars but I currently drive this:
