They started at the birth of my second son. How I even managed to have a second child during this horrible marriage is it's own story.

It brings me back to the anger at my mother. She had a passion to destroy me--passion like pure fire.

How was I, a child in her care, supposed to face THAT?

Oh, and just my view:
Mars in Scorpio would take you apart like a method i.e, intentionally. If you don't mind surprises try a Mars in Aries who would do it just to see how you work like an infant taking apart a cherished toy to see how it works.

Actually you mentioned a hero's journey and I've always associated that motif with Aries, the first sign of the zodiac and Mars for the heroism.

Actually, my views could be biased seeing that I'm an Arien Mars

Yes, I am thinking the squares and oppositions are totally different animals. I have them in synastry and have a healthy respect for them

PS I think that if two people try to post at the same time, it cancels out the whole thread and leaves a thread with a time on it such as 10:08.

I like that song. In fact, I heard it the first time during a relationship breakdown...

I can relate to it, a lot. And, yes, it makes me sad. She has a beautiful voice when she sings it... kinda makes your heart ache.

I think it's honest.

I mean, that guy is being very emotionally open in stating what he feels is the progression of loving and losing someone.

The melody itself seems a bit rigid, like they could have made it a bit smoother, and clearer around the riff.

Otherwise, it's a brave attempt at communicating.

It's a painful song to listen to, and I'm sure a lot of people would snicker at it, seeing as he doesn't sound like a mainstream artist does.

Well, it resonates with me at least.

Love the melody and also like his voice very much.
Of course the lyrics are depressing.
It`s exactly how I felt 20 years ago.
And yes it`s true, some things leave scars that stay with you forever.
But somehow even scars become a part of you. And I wouldn`t want to miss mine.
I hope he will be able to relate to this at one point in his life.
