I love what Hera said.I enjoy the sheer clarity and freedom that Uranian energy brings. It lets you soar. Uranus is very prominent in my chart: Libra - 6th house,
conjunct DC,
opposite AC, Sun & Chiron,
square IC & MC,
trine Moon (which itself is in Aqua in 11th house) The feeling of Uranus is electric and brilliant. IP: Logged |

OK, DD , so will Uranus oppose Venus (or other Uranus/Venus aspects, ) will be intense attraction????

Intense I would ssociate with Pluto.Magnetic / Electric attraction, though sometimes shortlived and as in my case, sometimes there / then not at all.
Lois Sargent wrote that this is the aspect (specifically the Venus-Uranus-opposition, though the others may be valid as well) of "love at first sight".
But then again Uranus is not so much about "love", but I would call it "fascination at first sight", an electric impulse surging through you.
Very stimulating, but not necssarily warm or caring.

This is not completely fitting, it is maybe too loving and warm for Uranian idea, but the idea of "change" suits Uranus very well.If you have Uranian synastry your whole life / world / ideas/ will get "turned upside down" and nothing will be as it was before.
Irrational. Bizarre. Up and down. No slow changes, but you are hit by a bolt and after that one little moment everything is changed.
In a way it reminds me a bit of t he Tarot card "The tower", though the colouring in that tarot card seems to imply a mix of Pluto and Uranus.

I am not completely sure, but that lightening that strikes and leaves everything changed, THAT is Uranus to me.

"I Belong To Me" is the song that God gave to you for me, DD. Love is asking me to do something but I am NOT ready. I am not ready,inside, strong enough.
I can't give to someone else ,yet, when I am not ready to honor myself, first.
I am NOT, yet. It IS coming but slowly. I have to KNOW I am in my OWN corner before I trust myself with another person in the type of intimate relationship I WANT. That song was my answer.This morning was when I needed that song--right NOW! ------------------

It came to me at the right time, too, many years ago.
Had to do with some of my fears, and it was t hat song that made me realize that my fears (and other people) can only have the power over me, I allow them to have.

uranus is not so much "independent" and/or rebellious as he is reforming.i have a stellium (and a close one at that) of mars, merc and jupiter in aqua oppo uranus, himself, square my moon in taurus and my scorp asc...my pisces sun keeps ME at bay, but all of that uranian energy keeps my life far from dull... independent, yes i am, but it is not cause of my uranian energy, but what uranus has brought into my life. my life is far from dull, and with a pisces sun and a bull moon i crave peace and beauty...sigh... You know, DD. I talk to God and hear his Voice,in impressions and sometimes a Voice in an impression form.
Some people may think it is silly but I know it is true cuz I feel things that actually happen.
This morning, that song WAS my dilemma. I really love someone so much.
I can't explain it other than I just DO. That is it. You really can't explain love when you get right down to it, anyway.
It is prolly a mixture of your family(for good and bad),people who have loved you like grandparents or anyone who meant something to you. Then, you feel all these things with another person. What ARE they all??? Who knows??
What will you do for love????
What will you sacrifice???
Where do YOU come in to it???
Where does your SENSE of what is right for you when the other person wants something different??? THAT was the song, for me.

LOLs, i was reading the latest replies and "Good Enough" came on...and some of the things about uranus that some of ya'll are saying helps me to understand myself a little better, but it also makes me more confused about myself...you could say i have a somewhat strong uranus influence because i have a uranus singleton and aquarius on my MC and my NN in conjunction..but MC opposite my moon...i like spontaniety but not too much and i dont like change unless its better and its usually material change (like moving into a bigger house in a nice part of town) (that may have something to do with my heavy cap influence...uranus IS in cap, btw) ------------------

I just want to tell you this. I need to say it even if no one needs to hear it lol I have a Bible teacher I listen to. I have been listening to him for 10 years. He teaches, not preaches i.e screaming and yelling LOL
Anyway, he was really connected to God as far as getting impressions and leadings as I was talking about. He was supposed to and teach a conference in Mexico. He was already planned as the Speaker and Main event of the conference.
He had his ticket, etc and was all ready to go. He had a sense come over him not to go. They were very angry cuz a whole conference was planned.
He trusted it and the plane crashed in Sioux City, Iowa, I think it was . I am like Rainman on plane crashes  I have to tell myself this.There IS a Force which leads and shows us the way. Thank you for listening and allowing me to say it out loud.  Ami IP: Logged |

DD if you think that is scary, then do NOT watch the trailers of the other final destination movies, they get scarier and scarier and the freak deaths get better and better------------------

Last night, this thread had me thinking of the movie Pleasantville.
