Please help me understand Uranus. I only have one Uranus aspect and it is easy--Uranus conjunct Jupiter.

I understand how Neptune feels--dreamy, one foot in the next dimension lol

I understand Pluto---Keen sight, deep,internal knowing.Also, a sense of strength and will

I understand Saturn--cold water poured on you : having to climb a mountain for anything lol

What about Uranus? How does that feel when combined with planets, angles etc in your natal chart?

Thank you x o x

I had the same thought, glamgem. An innocent question coming off as a loaded one, all thanks to that name.

i'm still trying to figure out my uranus myself.
i have an aspect with venus, saturn, neptune and uranus all in conjunction in cap.
3 planets are in the 8th house, ouch
i did read somewhere that neptune and saturn conjucntion in 8th house (i think its those planets) would give me an inheritance from my father when he died....which is a load of crap because all i got when he died was a raggety box of pictures that wasnt mine exclusively...and now that box is in a storage unit whose rent is over 2 years overdue
but as far as uranus or even venus goes, i havent a clue how it fits into all of it

edit: LOLs, i just now understood what everyone was talking about with the joking and funnies

edit 2: "How does Uranus feel? Exciting. Energetic. Surprising."
HAHAHAHA, thats what he said!!
sorry, it just screamed at me as a "gay" joke, lol

Uranus feels like... (mind you, feeling is subjective) a thunderbolt, restless and erratic, it's an electric tingling feeling you get when you can't stay still. It's also rebelious and free, a force of nature man cannot contain. Nobody pushes Uranus to the corner, he will jump through the ceiling and fly away.
If you want to understand Uranus, think French revolution: Liberte, egalite, fraternite, ou la mort!

Like Hera described. Perfect description btw

BTW why did you pick that username?

EDIT:
BTW you donīt really "feel" Uranus, it hits you like a bolt out of the blue, sending shockwaves through your whole being.

Heehee, besides having the asteroid on my Asc, I've always liked Hera and felt she was seriously unapreciated (by Zeus, historians and well, mankind )

a thunderbolt, restless and erratic

Uranus in Sagittarius:
These children are strongly attracted to new philosophies and will question all accepted traditions and ideals.

Sun Conjunct Uranus:
You are quite innovative and creative and can see new ways of doing things before other people do

Moon Square Uranus:
You are not very comfortable with traditions, unless it is clear to you that they have some real use. Your love relationships will be much freer than usual, because you do not want to be emotionally tied to anyone more than you have to be.

Uranus in the Third House:
You have a quick and original mind, and you enjoy dealing with new ideas and concepts, especially ones that others consider too extreme

Its not easy with tradition, i even question funerals.

And about being backed into a corner, and to get away you shoot through the roof..

This is true with ideas for me.

"BTW you donīt really "feel" Uranus, it hits you like a bolt out of the blue, sending shockwaves through your whole being"

Yes, But it hits me in the head, rarely in the heart and only aftershocks in the body.

Ive toyed with the idea of Synapse, i honestly do feel jolts of energy in the brain, its nothing i control or have say so in, Just comes to me, simple really.

Hmmm... I forgot pioneer. Uranus is the type who will take the road less (or not) travelled.

*Uranus co-ruler of my chart
*Sun trine Uranus
*Uranus in the 10th, in Sagittarius, conjunct Jupiter (amplified)

Yes when i have an experience with it, i have the feeling of being mentally carried away from what the problem is, and being shown some new angle on the issue.

Then i have to figure out what i was just shown, how can this work, what does it do?

And then i have the really strong ones (by strong i mean Clear) that i dont need any analyzing to figure out.

hmm. Uranian energy is electric, it awakens anything that is stale and shocks it into the present (sometimes the future), very future-oriented. Values honesty and equality very highly, friendship especially. Feels at ease with humanity, but one-on-one induces anxiety. Incredibly perceptive. Concerned with inventions, out-of-the-blue insights, and a sort of scientific under-the-microscope approach to relating. It favors love at first sight and revolutions, it is the genius, the eccentric. It continually reinvents the wheel, and current paradigms. It also can be very excitable and nervous. It's the "chemistry" involved in romance, that elusive, invigorating element, the "sparks" that fly. It highly desires personal space/freedom, but can flourish in love when given more than requested. It needs 'breathing room' to feel close.

Mine is square the Sun, so I've been around this energy a lot, meeting other Sun/Uranus people, mainly the conj and opposition. We can be very live-wire types.

Thank you for the awesome answers!

I have this question. Mercury energy feels like pure rationality ,to me. You can see a situation with pure logic, no emotion.

Is Uranus just like a Lightning Bolt to whatever it touches.

Is it like a stun gun as Mblake's video.

Is it like an electric blue color in the shape of a lighting bolt?

Honestly i first feel a ripple behind my eyes, then the body aftershock. Causes me to take a breath.

I dont think its something i have seen, just felt.

If you have ever played with a frayed power cord when you was a kid, then got the "ripple" of electricity through you!.. something like that always comes to mind.

huh, i never thought about mercury like that but it does explain why i can look at things so objectively all the time. i have sun conjunct mercry, mercury singleton, and gem asc unaspected!!
oh and lets not forget leo moon in 3rd...the 3rd house being ruled by gemini...and moon square sun....it fits with what i said before...somehow...
