I agree that you can't really pinpoint it either, but I just wanted to add that one Pisces friend of mine has full sleeves and a full back done, and ALL of his have the theme of 'Comedy and Tragedy'.
He wasn't into Theatre or anything, he just says that's his life theme.And another Pisces I know has almost sleeves and his are religious in nature...
A huge portrait of Jesus, a huge cross, the word "Pain"...

No Tatts here for this Aries and will never have any either. I thought it was a Libra thing.....body art and piercing. Putting something colorful on skin. It maybe a Scorp thing - hard to say but Anthony Kiedis has some neat tatts on his body. I'd probably buy one of those corner store lick on tatts to put on for a day and wash off..... IP: Logged |

I don't have any tattoos but I like them on other people if they are done right. I've actually stopped complete strangers to admire their body art. I'd like to get portrait tattoos of my grandfather and my son his namesake each holding an end of the infinity sign. But I'm afraid I'd be the one in a millon who would have a bad reaction to the ink or it would make my sensitive skin more messed up than it all readly is or the artist would screw it up. When it comes to portrait tatts they are either good or bad there is no in between. So, yeah, I'm never getting any tattoos. I have virgo sun, leo mars and virgo jupiter in the 5th house. I have several. Virgo rising, Virgo Sun, Cancer Moon, Leo Venus, Sag Mars.My first one took over 3 hours...it felt like he was sawing off my leg with a hack saw for 3 hours...then I went out dancing. The others were only minor irritations. Nothing really symbolic about any of them. While they're all personally designed and not cliche, I wanted them to have no meaning in case that meaning wasn't something I always wanted to have on my body. Of course I like showing them off. Although I work in a very professional environment, so I always wear long sleeves at work. IP: Logged |

I been getting tattoos since I was 17, have very nice, feminine, pretty and rare tattoos that have very deep meaning to them and I don't look like a skank at all. Quite the opposite in fact Aries Rising,

Cancer Mercury
Cancer Mars
Taurus Venus Very Venus and Pluto ruled with a dash of Uranus..I believe that may have something to do with it. On the other hand, I HATE HATE HATE piercings. Especially those lip rings. EW. And the pain of piercings, hurt waaaay more than getting a tatt. I could only handle my bellybutton and nose and that was too much. IP: Logged |

Meh, peircings look good on some people and not so good on others.
I have a cappie girlfriend who has the perfect shaped eyebrow for her peircing.
That one would look dumb on me.Then I sat behind this guy in college who had his ear lobe gauged so huge, that if I shut one eye and squinted the other one, I could read the blackboard through his hole!

LOLLL!!! @ Gypsee! I can imagine how distracting that is  "Must-see-blackboard-through-that-hole-don't-care-if-I-can-just-see-it-by-moving-to-the-left-a-little!" I'm not the biggest fan of piercings myself. Don't mind them on someone else, but I can't imagine exactly why I should get any myself. I just don't think they have any aesthetical value. I don't even really like them on someone else, actually. Of course it's everyone's choice what they do with piercings, but I'm rarely attracted to a man with any kind of piercing, and if I am, I find the piercing quite annoying actually. Then again, I've rarely met a man who had so many piercings he could set off a metal detector. ------------------

Well, also it's an age thing. Most of my 19 year old daughter's friends have their tongues peirced, and their signs are all over the place.
