After listening to Marguerite Manning on her Blog Talk Radio program about Past Life Karma, I thought I would finally take a look at my 12th house, to see what was buried there. The first thing she looks at is the cusp. What’s on the cusp of your 12th house? That tells her a lot, right there. And of course, I have Scorpio on my cusp. Deep, dark, swamp thing Scorpio.

I should have stopped right there. But no, I am only happy when I am digging down deep, looking for the truth, looking for the dirt. Thank you 8th House Sun for that. I am never happy with just the surface dirt, I have to find “all” the dirt.

So I innocently start adding asteroids to my chart, just to add a little flavor to my empty 12th house. (And at this point, I want to give a big shout out to IQ, who taught me about asteroids and their importance. Trust me on this. I have been on that band-wagon for a couple of years now. )

So let’s see....what do I have in the 12th, as far as asteroids go? I thought I would start with the love and sex asteroids. (Oh, there goes my 8th house again...Sex, death and other people’s money!)

And I found:

Sappho
Salome
Bacchus
Adonis
Nymph

As well as Arthur, Lancelot, Medea, Soma, and Manu. I had to look up Manu. According to Hindu tradition, he was the progenitor of Mankind, the first king to rule the earth. You have to look at asteroids in your chart for the myth and the archetype they carry. So with Manu there, as the progenitor of Mankind, well, I guess he was pretty “busy” too.

But anyway, when I first saw those asteroids, I thought, "Hmmm, 12th house. I sort of keep those hidden". They are in my closet. With Saturn in my 1st, what I show to the world is a little more serious. You don’t get to see my Nymph until I know you better.

But then I looked at my South Node. My South Node is in the 5th house, in Aries, conjunct Mars. I have also seen quite a few of my past lives, so I do know that I was a kick ass kind of guy. A very strong warrior type. But I neglected to look at the rest of the story. The 5th house is love, children, the ability to produce, creativity, and pleasure. And that is when it hit me! Oh man, with those asteroids sitting in my 12th, I was a hedonist! I was one of those guys who was strong and powerful, and women fell at my feet. And I did what men typically do. I did lots of it.

So in this incarnation, with my North Node in Libra, I am learning to play nicely with other children, and be much more considerate of other people’s feelings. I am learning how to live in peace and harmony. I am learning how to find inner peace and equilibrium. I am learning that love is a bigger concept than just passion.

So, tell me what is in your 12th house? And more importantly, does it resonate with your south node, as to who you were in a past life? Does it trigger anything for you? If you haven’t been shown any of your past lives, this is a great way to see who you were, and what you did. The 12th gives you some great clues.

I have Venus in Leo conjunct part of fortune in there and surely that must mean positive karma right ? Lol

saturn, 12th ruler, is in 7th (unless you use equal houses!) in virgo; this is also chart co-ruler with uranus (to which it is sextile) in 5th.

i don't recall finding any asteroids in house 12 though! lotsa connections to other things though obviously.

After much toil & sweat I finally found one after searching halfway down the Greek asteroids. (Nike - Just do it, lol.)

I don't need to check any sites to tell me what that is about. In a past life, I was a harbinger, to bring a powerful message, but I was too caught up in the material world(SN in Virgo 2nd), I lost faith and was unable to complete my mission

Now, I've been sent again with a loaded 3rd house, NEMESIS conj KARMA conj Mercury in Scorpio in 3rd, Jupiter in Gemini in 10th and the NN in Pisces in 8th to BELIEVE and trust and have faith in a Higher Power.

I don't remember my past life, but I remember my failed mission like a thorn in my side( Chiron in 12th in Cancer) and realising it to be the reason I am not home and I know, this time, I have to succeed.

The only asteroid I can find is INTERKOSMOS conj. my Ascendant, its meaning only too clear: I am repeating my incarnation here because I strayed last time around.

I'll check up others too...

edit: Chiron is retrograde which means I have to draw my healing inward...Healer, heal thyself.

Oh, and found an asteroid...guess who conjuncts my Chiron?? DIONYSUS

Wonder if I was a drunk monk type in my past life?? Could be why alcohol, smoke, drugs etc. hold no enchantment for me...I ODed in a past life.

i also never use to look at my 12th and now i looked several themes of asteroids here.

my 12th is in Virgo,with Mercury there too in 0Libra.

Before showing the asteroids i must say that im sure of some of my pastlifes: in Sumeria,Egypth,Greece,Roman times and around the times of Knights/im very drawn to the stories of aVALON for instance.

i also know that i was an astronomer/astrologer with Jonnhy in ancient Egypth.and also in the times of when Jesus was born ( this by Lexx).

hathor has to do with strong women,patience,courage and nurtuting qualities,and also astrology.likes good things in Life

obvious here is the lifetime in Egypth. horus there too means nurture creative talents,courage,balance,healing,the arts,beauty and family.

Nemesis has to do with enemies isnt it?perhaps i was a stonr willed woman,with healing qualities,or creative talents,nurturer,with a happy family.but somehow had enemies?

this can go along with egypth ( echaton is there too) theme but also with roman,as Athens is there too.

dont know what ostara,triglov means or gilgamesh there...

i had a lifetime in the times of Camelot?hmmm i once had a dream of me and John getting married in those times though ( there is briede there look!)..and most of my lifetimes i was also a seer,someone linked to the spiritual. a good person with helping qualities too.

Glasgow...doesnt it also has to do with Camelot,arthur and Merlin?

so probably this strenghten the suspicious that i was also someone related to the Camelot figures?someone somehow with narcisic?but an iniciater of the spitirual world? note that i have draco Merlin cj n.Karma/Fortuna.
