Let's talk about cardinal signs for a sec. Their motto is "Anything you can do I can do better." and, surprisingly, that arrogance is not unfounded! They really are better than most at whatever they choose to do, I've found.

They can be bossy and controlling, and loners but are always friendly. They ALWAYS strive for perfection and improvement, and always know what the latest of the latest is, and are usually convinced they know best. But they're always one step ahead of the game!

I have had a controlling and bullying HORROR story with aries man and yet I have an amazing dad who is an Aries.
I have 3 kids. They have 2 dads between them. Both Arians. One is Kane and the other is Abel. One a complete success the other an utter disaster (hence my horror story).

Natally I have Aries moon, Venus, Saturn, NN in a 9th stellium. I see the good bad and the ugly in Aries and it's Co ruler mars with Scorpio.

Hmm. I have an aries father, too. . But he's very controlling and has a temper. Yet, he's a great father and provider and I've learned to love him. Your father doesnt even have a temper? Lol

if he doesnt then...Nice! Lol

my cousin's a libra and she's super controlling. Her way or the highway.

Every capricorn I met is at least somewhat controlling. They think they know best and judge others too much in my opinion.

Cancers are super controlling too...but you'll never know it. They try to change things by being nice being forgiving being demanding and well through general appeals to emotion.

The cardinal signs I know are so talented, though.

My libra cousin looks like a million dollars when everythig she buys costs her no more than 5 dollars.

Cardinal signs are more talented i think cuz theyre the pioneers. But then they fail to follow through. Their second motto is probably "i've forgotten better ideas than you've ever come up with." so fixed signs i think show their talent more because they leave something of importance behind. They leave their legacy behind, you know? So in my opinion, their talent is probably more easy to see because they leave something behind to show for it, whereas cardinal sigbs are constantly changing activities and have diverse talents so they are less likely to be noticed for one huge thing they accomplished in their life.

I guess unless that sign is capricorn. Lol.
But usually i think they're more noted for being a pioneer than for leaving something of value behind (CREATING something) like the fixed signs

Hmmmm, I think Cancer is about the only Cardinal sign I can stand. The other ones either make my skin crawl, or just get on my nerves. Well, maybe not so much Arien women....I'm okay with them.

I love all the cardinal signs. Actually, i usually like all the signs. The only ones that irk me the wrong way sometimes are aquarius and aries. But i love aries women, too! How funny . Oh, and i love leos, but i hate how in the end everything revolves around them so i keep y distance. Aquariuses take things way too seriously sometimes. It's all in their plan to save the world or w/e. They are irrational and emotionally complex, stubborn, come off as arrogant, and seem to attract drama. I do love some aquariuses though because they're idealistic and thinkers like i am, but even they are TOO idealistic. for the most part that's how i've found them to be. Aries are awesome people, so fun and funny and inspirational. But they can make me cry so easily. I cant stand their temper or arrogance, but there are some i love dearly and we have great chemistry and we balance each other out, and literally we have never even fought once.
Libras are my favorite. They dont start drama or get upset easily, they have good communication, are sweet and sympathetic, fun and lighthearted. Who could ask for more? My best friend is a libra. And i used to have an aries best friend, but he turned out to be weird in a way i cant really talk about here lol. My other best friebds are capricorn and gemini. That's the other sign i love. Gemini-such nice people! Pisces and scorpio i'm always cool with. And taurus is on and off...we're cool one day fight the next. With virgo it's easy breezy but boring....and pisces and scorpio i get along with 100%

Hmm my ASC, sun, moon, mercury, venus, mars and neptune are all in the cardinal signs

I'm don't want to be better than anyone.
I'm definitely not arrogant.
I'm not bossy.
I'm not controlling nor domineering.
Definitely NOT a loner (but I do love my own company just the same).
If someone knows better than me then I listen to elevate myself to a new level of understanding as we all learn from each other.
I don't strive for perfection or improvement but rather growth and understanding.

Cancer is the only Cardinal sign in my BIG 5.

It's hard for me to generalize about a sign without an accompanying moon sign. but...

Capricorn is too cold and controlling for me. The kids are headstrong, & I almost always get into power struggles with them.

Libras lie to f-ing much. This is the star sign of my BFFs. And often, the swine who try to romance me. You see, I'm and authentic curious Gemini, I want to know anything and everything. If you're a liar you're useless, sorry. I also find them combative.

I've had a few head butting incidents with Aries. This is also the star sign of a BFF, but his moon conjuncts my Sun. Aries with Aqua or Scorpio Moon, I steer clear of. Can't put my fingers on it, but something about this sign makes me wanna say mean and nasty things. I hate people like that.

I've lived with two cancers, that I can recall. Cantankerous #$%&^$#. I hate the secrecy, I hate the snapping, I hate the moods. When you respond in kind, you're the bad guy. ugh. Cancer is the most emotionally demanding sign of the zodiac.

Most cardinal signs are best kept on a superficial level, the Libras & Aries especially. I like playing the ignore game with Capricorn.

That's interesting. Maybe the aspects in the natal chart can overcome all the cardinal sign tendencies?
Maybe you have lots of aspects to neptune or something....heh??!?!

Lol, I don't know if cancers are that bad. I used to live with one. She was irrational once. This was when she didn't want to watch a movie with me because she said it was the kind of movie you watch at home......No idea what she meant by that. But she was very nice about it even tho it seemed irrational. Other than that I don't remember ever arguing with her or her being rude or cranky...She was very easygoing the entire year I spent living with her. She even had her moon square mine, but granted we did have sun conjunct venus in the composite, which means we got along well. But I have met other cancers I couldn't stand. Or, I could probably stabd for a bit until they became mean for no reasom again. My libra ascendabt can't handle that.

I've found the air and earth leg of the Cardinal quadruplicity to be major control freaks (Libra and Capricorn). I know its ironic coming from a Cancer (who happens to not be one), but I can't work on a project with either from this sign because they'll just try and take over the whole thing. That, and Libra always wants to be the fairest of them all...becoming really sour to you when someone pays you a compliment since in their mind, it should've been them. Capricorn men in particular: They don't give me the impression of being trustworthy at all that they do to other folks. Maybe because I can see right through them.

Honestly, libras are some of the most balanced people I've ever met. But, there are probably a lot of cooky ones out there eho have gotten too obsessed with their looks or how charming they are and want all the attention constantly on them.

Capricorn men, really? I only know one cap guy who gave me that vibe that I couldn't trust him. And even he didn't turn out so bad. The caps I've met are really really really and I emphasize on the really here, lol, nice people. Like, they don't want to hurt anybody's feelings, and they try their best to be considerate and fair and they're always nice. But, most of them just genuinely lack the social skills to come off that way. They can't be loose and carefree (to the point where they ACTUALLY come off as a happy, loving, satisfied person) usually, and that's basically where their problem lies.

As far as libras and caps taking over projects. My best friend's a cap, actually. And she doesn't take over anything. Sure she can be demanding, overdramatic, sour, whiny, undemonstrative, stiff, self-centered, and nitpicky. But she's..well, just passive, I guess. Capricorn guys from my experience do generally like to control things, I noticed.

Libras, oh yeah, they definitely try to take charge over things. But they do it in such a nice and fair way that I as a cancer am really happy to follow them. When someone is as quick, smart, and well-balanced as them, it's in my advantage to follow their lead. But, they also know how to balance themselves so that they also let me take the lead when it's obvious I'm better at doing the job.

I agree with you BM. I have found that too and Libras to me are just the most imbalanced people around and their wishy washiness drives me insane. Why can't they make any decision? Steam comes out of my ears when l ask a Libran what time they'd like to meet up or what they'd like for lunch!

I agree with you both. Like I said, there are some balanced libras out there and soome cooky imbalanced ones lol. But for the most part my experience has been positive. Your experience could be different if you ran into mostly imbalanced ones. I've never actually seen a libra be indecisive, actually. Haha. Believe it or not...
The only time they didn't appear decisive to me was when it came to the fact that they'd rather be in a relationship with someone they didn't really like than be alone. I think I've just run into some very positive libras, I guess. The ones I know are rational and level-headed and FAIR. lol. Yes...again, believe it or not. I'm really glad I haven't run into those libras you guys mebtion before, though. Lol

I was just thinking I'd change your initial post a little and say:

Aries likes to control what they - themselves do (because Aries is a personal sign) at all times with next to no outside interference. This sometimes inspires others to take the reigns in their own lives.

Capricorn likes to control how the entire world does certain things - because Capricorn is a transpersonal sign. So the issues that will matter most are those that affect large groups of people. They seek control with the intent of bettering established - nation-wide (or even world wide) practices in some way.

Libra likes to control the manner in which people express their thoughts - It's important to Libra that everyone has their say and everyone's point of view is carefully assessed and weighed. This leads to better social interaction - Libra is a social sign.

Cancer likes to control their immediate family and close friends - The people who are emotionally bonded to them (Cancer is a personal sign). They like to control feelings and other aspects of these people's lives in order to protect them from themselves. This is the Cancerian way to take them under Cancer's wing.
