When you look back into your progressions and solar arcs was this active in the year that you lived through a very traumatic or upsetting experience?Noel Tyl says in his book in reference to this aspect.... The threat of loss in any area of life and potential self destruction

Well it is so bad that I am afraid to talk about it  It is in 2013... But it is a repetitive chain of events that happen one after the other... I have just gone through a Saturn return and Transit Saturn to Pluto transit. Then in October of 2013 I have SA venus to Sun which seems nice but SA=PL at that time and so does SA=Ven which shows some kind of loss of love or loneliness. Now if that were it I am sure I would be okay but Transit Saturn at the same time starts to square my progressed moon and SA moon. Then even worse is that my SA ascendant is conjunct my natal PLUTO then SATURN and of course since they are conjunct that is my SAT/PLU midpoint as well. Ok so you think that is bad enough? My SA MC will square Sat/Plu and surely someone is going to die and I am going to be upset. I have no support from the planets that show anything positive. I am dwelling on his already. I've experienced a loss, and suicidal thoughts/feelings (long-standing), over the past year - especially when transiting Saturn was in range of my Pluto... a part of the feelings of loss is being faced with those losses that will be inevitable (at some point), that feeling of mortality hitting, etc. I also have SA Pluto conjunct my Sun/Moon and Sun/Venus, though. There is also a big coincidence here that on the same day on october when SA SAT=PLU exact to the minute it is also exact in my brothers chart and he also has transit Saturn opposing his moon. I wonder if this means a death in our family. IP: Logged |

Belgz, In 2007 I had SA AS=Saturn I had kidney cancer in transits I had Pluto over natal Moon in the six house and SA Saturn was 4 degrees pass natal Pluto, also transit Pluto oppose As.IP: Logged |

Ooh, I think SA ascendant = North Node happened for me right around my Saturn Return, and my making a serious attempt at overcoming agoraphobia (going beyond my property, and the odd walk at certain places, with my dad and his dog). SA Pluto = ascendant might have come a year or two before... I need to check the dates. IP: Logged |

My six house is Sag and 12 house ruler is Mercury SA Mercury=Uranus one degree pass, also Saturn was not SA my mistake it was in transit over PlutoIP: Logged |

SA= Venus doesn't always equal lost... it depends on the houses Saturn and Venus rules and also... it can mean being in a relationship with someone older or learning to trust in romance again or a stable relationship that is very practical, or a relationship with a person that has been divorced and controls their emotions because of it... there is a lot of possibilities... I have the Venus = Saturn starting in a couple months (I'm freaking out about it today... if you see my post- Solar Return 2010/11- you'll see it...lol) and SA= PL coming up in 2013 BUT I have all these amazing progressions for love and happiness too at those times... I have a huge issue with an aspect only being negative- there always has to be positive and a negative to everything IP: Logged |

I have this exact square in my natal, and it ain't easy, I tell ya.I have Saturn sq and Pluto opposing my sun/moon now, and it's all been hairy but I think it's my life in general lol Geo told me to be careful during Mars=Pluto SA, and it had already passed. During that time I got mugged, almost got bitten by two poisonous snakes, and my brother also got mugged and beaten, his hand got broken. In general I think it depends on the HOUSE it is happening, and it also doesn't have to be all bad, as during that time I met my boyfriend, had moved to where I wanted, and shook off some really bad shackles from the past. By they way I got your msg on FB but I can't reply because FB banned me from commenting because I have apparently abused that feature  I have to wait a few days for the ban to be lifted.
Ok now back to SA Sat=Ven... When this aspect became exact in Ferdi's chart we broke up. I also looked at peoples charts when someone has died and it can also mean lost love. For xample the new guy I was seeing had Sat=Ven when his father passed away. But then I looked at someone elses chart and they got marred during that aspect so I am unsure :|
I guess really it is either one extreme or the other. I think if you are in a relationship it could mean an ending if it's already on the rocks.
I was born with pluto and saturn 1 degree apart and nothing happened to me when I was born when that aspect was exact when I was a year old. I have also experienced the long years of Saturn chasing my progressed moon and enjoyed some of the greatest times of my life during that period.
I also at the same time have SA sun=ven and ven=MC which are probably some great love transits but I just noticed this major issue around this time and I can see the same progressions in my mothers, brothers and uncles chart. Saturn is in exact square to all of our progressed moons at the same time!!

My friend is still going but I can't go just yet I am hoping and praying I am still going around January. Ever since progressed moon has been in my 9th it has ruined all my opportunities to travel and study. I even planned a trip to New Zealand with Ferdi before we broke up and after we broke up we never ended up going and I had paid for the hotels and tickets and they didn't refund any of it because they only refun sale tickets on compassionate grounds. Prior to PM going in 9th I had no issues whatsoever. It it going to be going into my 10th after January 2011. I can't wait. Just as it crosses over it will make a nice sextile to my 9th house ruler and then there will be an eclipse at 29 Gemini in December  IP: Logged |

I had SA plu=mars ast year and nothing hapened other than that bank issue where they took all our money. Same time I was pretty stressed but nothing out of the usual.
Pluto rules my 2nd house and mars rules my 7th. Oh come to think of it me and Ferdi had huge arguments over money that year for the first time. All my credit card accounts were closed and even my wages changed. They forcefully tried to control me via my funds etc. Ohhh and my brother pushed me into the back of a car that same year. If you have Saturn conjunct Pluto in a composite AND this squares the NN, IS this a "curse" aspect like you all are talking about?

I've had SA saturn go bumpity bumping over my entire stellium and sun/mercury/mars since my birth. FINALLY now it is at 29' taurus and it won't do any damage for decades hopefully. When SA saturn was cj my mars, square my jupiter, trine my pluto/uranus and opp my neptune nothing really happened!

I am not sure it does anything really depending on the composite chart and what Saturn and Pluto rule. I also think that Saturn and pluto conjunct is a good stabilising aspect especially if it is placed in the first house etc.

They are exact quincunx each other natally so are always on the opposite side of the chart in SA's.
