re: Virgo and Muskmy best friend is a Virgo Rising/Virgo Moon (Cap Sun) and she is OBSESSED with perfumes. These are some from her collection that I can remember: Tom Ford Black Orchid
Bergamot, Citrus, Mandarin, Black Gardenia, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Lotus Wood, Orchid, Spicy Floral Accord, Orchid (Tom Ford Black Accord), Patchouli, Sandalwood, Incense, Vanilla. Narciso Rodriguez for her:
Pink Chypre, Pink Floral, Voluptuous Woods, Soft Amber, Sheer Chypre, Flower Honey, Tactile Woods, Amber Light. Hmmm so far the musk thing holds true? I just texted her and asked what her favorite perfume was and am waiting for a response  IP: Logged |

I'm not really a perfume type girl... if I do, I have this vanilla type body spray I use (or something fruity) I'm highly sensitive to perfumes... I think it's my 6th house Sun. I wish I was one of those types tho that wore perfumes and were all girly (maybe that's Neptune conj my Sun...?) Saggie Sun- 6th

i don't like musks, or woodsy..pretty much at all. i like floral and fruity, or even just clean smelling perfume. i'm kinda funny about it as i think most perfume stinks. i still like issy miyaki, CK one, burberry. i like to wear mens cologne sometimes, the blue bottle..uhm...cool water ...there is another one i can't think of the name, but if i see the bottle, i put it on.
jasmine or lemon body spray..lavendar oil in my bath.... linen spray on my sheets...

I have super dry skin, so everyday after a bath or shower, I drench my skin in Avon Skin So Soft (orginal scent) bath oil.
I pat in on so it soaks in.My BF lovesssss this smell. He is always picking up my arm and sniffing it. lol.
If I forget to use it when I'm in a hurry, he says, "You don't smell like you!" He's Scorp Sun/ Can/asc Sag/Moon. I have no idea what that smells like, but it's great for keeping bugs off you too.

Perfume is all about notes. Base, middle and top notes. They need to be in balance and you need to balance the volatility of the oil so that each "note" comes through as the perfume wears out.IP: Logged |

I don't wear perfume much because most make me nauseous. I do use Gucci Rush 2 on special occasions. It seems not to make me sick. I don't know what's in it though. I use their body lotion and shower cream too. You have my details, darling, Abs. IP: Logged |

Thanks VIG, Yin mailed me about that after I wrote it. I'll have to borrow my Mom's credit card. Absinthe if you are still reading, I did remember a 'real' perfume that I loved.!
It was called Bora Bora by Liz Claiborne.
Do you know what kind of smells it has in it?

Libra Rising & 5 planets in Libra.
I like light, clean, fresh scents that arent overwhelming. Prefer fruity scents because it's subtle, (although it fades fast). Dislike powdery, flowery, musky, earthy, spicy & foody (vanilla/choco) type scents.

I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed this thread! I haven't bought anything new in a while, and after reading everyone's descriptions of their scents, I need to try some of them!I usually wear "Cotton Blossom" by Bath and Body Works to work. It's very light, sort of like orange blossoms and powder. And I also have Jessica McClintock, which is also light and flowery with lemon, rose and jasmine. Probably the strongest one I have is the Coty "Wild Musk, which I wear at night. Sun - Cancer, 8th house

Libra - 11th house
