I don't feel much Cancer in my mother, although she does like to cook food for neighbors and people she likes at the bank or her doctor's office. But you know what? She could definitely be an Aries. It was because when I looked at her I got a feeling that I only feel when I think about my grandmother, who was a Cancer rising and Taurus Sun (which is why I thought Taurus might be the other option). Interestingly, I was going to ask you if she likes to cook, a trait my Gaga also shared. She also sang, craved attention, and talked people to death. I loved her incomparably. My mom is also a Cancer, and we have a difficult relationship, so I don't attribute those traits as Cancerian necessarily. I know a male who is a Cancer rising who has none of those qualities. It was just a feeling I got when I looked at the picture, and a voice in my head. I could be very wrong LOL. I do think she has an ASC in earth or water though. I don't get Air at all (no Gemini). My roommate who is water rising (Scorpio) always looks into the camera (...makes sense for the "piercing" stare right). I actually have a photo of my mom holding me the exact same way this woman is holding the baby so maybe that's why she reminds me of my mom. Same eyebrows and cheek bones, too. IP: Logged

I loathe guessing ascendants based on appearance but there is something about the set of the eyes and eyebrows of all the famous Aries rising women in the pics posted there that is similar. It's hard sometimes to tell them apart, but it's something with the eyebrows that make the Aries Asc different.
