Oops. I said no details before I saw your post Unmoved. Now I get a picture of Scorp/Mars, you sound alot like your sun in your descriptions of helping out (designated driver) and even in the way you describe how what they want is what you give.

Umm, SEXPO? 0_0 I am not sure what a sexpo is. lol. Do I want to know?
PS> I am surprised that a musician does not like concerts.

Yes, everyone wants to (or should) know what a sexpo is. It's just an Expo on sex and things related to it. It's great to give to a coupled friend to have fun with her SO.

Yeah, the stage is less crowded at a concert. So, I have no qualms with the stage. It's the hoards of people give me anxiety when I am watching. I prefer sports events because they are brighter (lighting) than concerts.

Well,Gypsee, I am just starting to make peace with myself.
I am a "different" kind of female.
I don't like a lot of traditionally female things like dishes, silverware, decorating the house etc.
I ,always, though I was bad or "less than" cuz of this but I realize that it is that I am not that earth bound lol

I am psychic and kind of other worldly but I am starting to like how I am

What would you expect from a Mars in Pisces?

(Maybe I just answered my own question: confusion. I try to look for special things - like a SunCatcher that I gave to my sister.)

If I really love you/care about you and you mean a lot to me then I will put A LOT of thought into the gift and it will definately be from the heart and very thoughtful. I dont know why but I have a thing with getting items engraved..

If your just a 'friend' not really anything special etc, then dont expect me to go out of my way. You'll get a card with a small note from me and some cash. Thats about it.

Like someone else said, im always very "will they like it? will they not like it?" (thats if you dont mean much to me lol)

Yes thank my libra moon.

Mars in Cancer.

I ask someone straight out what they want and get it for them instead of wasting time and money on something that would be hit or miss.

My mars is Leo.

LOL @ Teasel, you crack me up!

So far the Cancer Mars people are pretty consistant.

I would think a Leo Mars would buy something extravagant, a money is no option kind of gift. I guess that depends on if one has money or not.

Unless I know you very well and know exactly what you want, I don't have time to be bothered with getting you something you may/may not like. A gift card it is. But the card will be thoughtful and well-worded. My feelings get very hurt when I pick out gifts and don't get the immediate "Oh I love it!" smile.

If I know you well enough to buy you something, I lean towards expensive/extravagant AND something you'll love. There's less than a handful of people on that list though.

Mars in Leo.

YEP. Sometimes this has even gotten me into trouble when money SHOULD be a consideration and isn't. I dread being perceived as cheap. I can go way overboard at times with any kind of gift-giving/party planning type deal. Those types of tasks are usually taken from me, actually, before they get out of hand

Mars in Taurus here and I give what I know what the receiver will enjoy & like. I put aside my preferences for theirs and really love when my gift makes them happy.

Honestly, giving is actually better than receiving for me.

I love giving gifts, but I think a lot about it.

It's usually something/matching things to wear.

I always thought it was my venus in libra.. I have mars in virgo

I had a bf with mars in scorpio and he bought me a kettle and a lightbulb once also brought chocolate and wine.

I gave him my expensive sunglasses they looked better on him.

I gave another bf a little collection of jazz cds -he loved the artists and he was a musician.

lol gypseewind

A scorpio mars girl I know loved knitting stuff for her bf, and she made necklaces/bracelets for her friends.

2 of my scorpio mars girlfriends bought a hat for me on my bday -they knew I wore a lot of hats.

Scorpio mars is good at gift giving

C'est vrai! My ex has Mars in Virgo and is ridiculously coordinated, I used to tease him about his baseball caps. He has to own more than 30. One for every outfit.

I love this thread!

Mars in Gemini, 7th house

I think I give really cool gifts
if it's not Cash (which it usually is)
I will find that one thing, you would love but never buy yourself.

Several years ago
(before Amazon)
I went hunting for a collection of Edith Piaf Albums for my sister.
To this day, she claims it is her favorite gift ever.

If I have to buy a gift, like for a shower or birthday, you'll get it in a paper sack without a card but I guarantee, it will be personal and you will love it.

Sorry, don't know how to quote. I'm not rich but any stretch but it's not about money per se. I would feel it a waste if I spent a dollar on something that got no use or appreciation but would feel it a great investment to spend 100.00 on a gift that was useful to the receiver.

It's all about the value the receiver gets from the gift, not the price tag. Who wants a bunch of well intentioned but useless gifts cluttering up their lives? I know I don't. I have enough crap, don't need more.

Oh Lala, we have a Gem Mars, where have you been?

I think you would be a GREAT gift giver!
The record collection is amazing, and you get a big huge "A+"... not only a well thought out gift, but a time consuming one as well.!

Course with a Gem Mars, you'd have to burn off energy somehow, huh?

To the last poster, Pisces Moon...
I agree that it's better to spend more on something useful than to fill up ones space with a bunch of stuff, for the sake of stuff.

I get stuck when you have to buy gifts for co-workers. Especially if it's a man, and you have a cash limit! ARghhh, I hate that!
When you know them, but you don't really know them? Makes me batty.

You are welcome GemLib, there is a personal getting to know you forum if you wish to start a thread so others can meet you.

It's down at the bottom of the list, called
Know Two Are Alike. Hope to see you there.
