I've known my share of illogical men. They couldn't get from point A to B in a logical manner if their life depended on it.

I am logical. I am a woman. I was always more logical than emotional in my decision making. That's not the way to go either. You need both, logic and emotion, to make the right decision.

Anyone who is more logical than emotional is out of whack. The key is to have both in balance.

Men usually end up being more illogical because they are totally out of touch with their feelings, so their feelings get the best of them and they throw hissy fits that make no sense, because the fits are about a million things that they've been feeling, but can't acknowledge.

Both men and women can be illogical if they are out of touch with their feelings or if their logic side is too built up, blocking out their feelings.

Oh, I use a few asteroids, but do think it can be taken to extremes. I see people put up aspects to these obscure asteroids and the answer is actually right there in the regular planet transits, but they attribute it to the asteroids while ignoring the planets that have been studied for centuries.

How do they know it's because of the asteroid and not the planets? Especially since a lot of asteroids move soooo slowly -- often even slower than the outer planets.

I also see people using asteroids that aren't even the actual word of the meaning they've given it, but *close* A lot of times it seems they throw all these asteroids in to make a bad synastry good, which is sad and I feel bad for them.

I also think anyone who says they can tell you you're reincarnated and exactly where and what your old life was like is full of crap. I could tell you right now you were George Washington or Cleopatra and make some astro signature fit if you wanted to believe that. It's really easy to tell people what they want to believe when you don't have to prove it, and sadly, a lot of people who are into astrology are desperate to believe anything.

I thought this was a really interesting topic. It's something that I've wondered about as well. I've concluded that there are certain main asteroids which reflect someething of everyone - Spirit, Amor, Eros, etc, - and then of the remaining billion they are only significant closely conjuncting planets, Nodes or AC/DC IC/MC axis or Vertex, in which case I've found them to be uncanny.

I thought that was an interesting take. I've always thought of astrology as being intuitive. I can't see astrology as logical as such because the definitions are not so clearly defined.

I agree, most men dismiss astrology. Most educated men.

Most men, never mind education. Though a good liberal education would imprint the mindset of 'society' on the person. A mindset which puts astrology along with witchcraft.

The main reason men have not taken to astrology is the fact that women do....a girly subject. It ain't. It's pure (non academic) maths, with a bit of language thrown in.

Billions.

I wonder if these rich people have a name for each 1 dollar note they have. To keep the figures in perspective. Mix them all up, choose a random note, and that is the name of your new partner, or one of your old ones. I joke.

Um, most men don't dismiss astrology because 'women are into it'. That sounds like an elementary school generalization. They dismiss it because it has no grounds to them, they will not be bothered with intangible subjects.

I am a strong believer in Asteroid Astrology since 1999. I was given a hard time for using asteroids when I was chatting in Astrology channel on Undernet server in the early 2000's.

Demetra George and Douglas Bloch were the astrologers that inspired me use asteroids.

Then later on, Jacob Schwartz confirmed the incredible synchronicities of the personal name asteroids that I was finding before I saw is site. That was in 2000.

It's not like I am not into Asteroids. I am just a lot more into the 21st transneptunian objects now.

I also have to lay out a few facts

It's incorrect to say that asteroids move slowly and slower than the outer planets.

Asteroids are rocky objects that orbit in the inner regions of the solar system. Most of them orbit between Mars and Jupiter like asteroid dwarf planet Ceres does. Their average orbital period of less than 5 years. Therefore, they actually move a lot faster than Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus,Neptune , and the transneptunian objects.

The objects that move slower than the outerplanets are the transneptunian objects.
Those are not asteroids. They are not of the same composition either. The transneptunian objects are composition of rock and ice.

Dwarf planet candidate Sedna is one of the slowest moving objects with its orbit of over 10,000 years.

I agree with Diana in regards to her views about asteroids too. I agree with everybody else's views about asteroids except for coffee.

I also agree that there is a lot of logic with Astrology. A lot of its mathematical calculations and geometry. Of course, a lot of its Astronomy as well. Even the interpretations are necessarily intuitive if you understand the symbolisms behind Astrology. There are astrological systems like Cosmobiology and Uranian Astrology that are based on logic with their use of midpoints and planetary pictures. Harmonic Astrology is based on logic too.

I think the interpretation of astrological charts doesn't necessarily have to be intuitive. It can be logical. Especially, if you interpret a chart in a linear fashion.
A lot of times, it's more like an art.

I gave my views before about how Astrology is not just a science but other things like art, philosophy, and religion.
