Fatalistic and detreminalistic perception of love. Not separating love and pain, believing that one is the cause other, and one can not be if not connected to other. Strong sexual urges that are not correctly understood, neglected feelings or not being mature or self-aware enough to control it and positively express it. Person can't cope with it,refuses it and represses. Urges come in different disguises:raw, sublimated, subtle. Sexuality emphasized since early childhood. Disturbed self-value,person feels damaged, undeserving, and therefore prone to act out of guilt, punishing, denying, restaining oneself. Person may feel wicked and pervert. Potential with this position reacts first in response to immediate surrounding ften restrictive, dogmatic, conservative mother, quite possible hurt and burnt by her own experience.
Creatively, very fruitful energy. Like van gogh meets goya in literature and music think like beethoven is composing on wuthering heights theme. I hope this examples are vivid. Sometimes nothing works good like them

We have Venus conjunct Venus, and Pluto conjunct Pluto, and our Pluto's sextile each others Venus...not sure if that helps, but we have an amazing relationship...very loving, thoughtful, affectionate...but we also give each other their space...this is the best relationship ever, and we have both been thru several marriages, and serious relationships...we know we will always be together...

I guess on a persoanl level you want love in general to be intense, and all consuming.. All of nothing....

As this is a deep desire, for the most part I have never felt the obsession in any relationships, until I met pisces who also have venus sq pluto in his natal.. It's been the first time I ever felt that intensely.
In synastry neither of our venus touches the others pluto.. But in the composite we have venus opps pluto.. Which is the strongest I have ever felt it, when it has been in a composite..

I have a loose square with Venus and Pluto but I have never felt obsessive or the need to control a relationship. I am very comfortable with Pluto, probably because it is very prominant in my life (Pluto conjunct ACS within 2 degrees in the 1st house squaring my Sag Sun, IC and MC). However, I will also not settle for less and when I have been in relationships that didn't seem to be going anywhere or were harmful, I left and never looked back.

I always equated looking back or going back to an ex like a dog that eats their own vomit. Since I am not a dog (that is SOOOOO pluto) I will not go back to what I threw out (so to speak).

My husband has Venus conjunct Pluto in Virgo- his Venus conjuncts my Pluto and ASC. We had an instant attraction and bond and still do. His love for me, at times, can feel overwhelming but it is also tempered by his Leo Sun and dreamy Pisces moon. My feelings of being overwhelmed may very well come from his nVenus in Virgo squaring my Sag sun, but we have so many karmic ties that I really don't notice it although I am sure my Aries moon / Sag sun nature has trampled on his Moon and venus a time or two. How he puts up with me, I have no idea.. maybe it is my sparkling personality and super awesome sense of humor LMAO...

Pluto - the planet of extremes, transformational ability, underworld like currents that cause life altering transitions...

Venus - the planet of desires, loves, sensualities, aspected well can be a love that is deep, profound, and lasting, aspected too good and it can lead to oversentimentality, and a need for the finer things in life.....

I've heard bad things about pluto, like it sucks...

PErsonaly, I went through a horrible ordeal a few nights ago with a crazy pluto transit among other things....as well as a sun conjuncting in transit hitting my natal sun...with mercury there too...wow it was insane, my life was almost ripped away by family turmoil and strife that erupted out of no where like a volcanoe.

We need houses and signs to be most accurage ofcourse....but here's teh thing

pluto's energies are needed to overcome things like bad habbits etc....with a venus across from pluto I'd assume that it would be damn hard to use the positive energies of pluto which require time and patience since the opposite side, where venus is, will be where we spend most of our time for obvious reasons - venus is the planet of love...

here only the worst aspects of pluto might occur because pluto needs time...

but...this is not necessarily true depending on the rest of the chart, this could be a huge gain instead of a loss...it's all about balance in teh chart....and basicly it's all about freewill and love.....which i believe is strongly connected to deep abdominal breathing.

Have you ever read the book Sacred Activism by Andrew harvey/ I highly recommend it. He is a very tolerant man who has experience across the world.....

let me give you an example of a good pluto venus relationship....

if pluto is in libra....and venus is in scorpio....this may be good because it affords a sort of balance...

there are a million other balances as well...however i would say that pluto in libra is better than pluto in taurus.....but I need more experience to flesh this out.

I have Pluto sq Venus, and I love it.
The trine is the worst that I've encountered, both natally in others and in synastry. It's ugly. I had Pluto-Venus trine DW once, the worst. And I've had the squares & oppositions, now those are the sexy ones, the hard aspects, they bring this fabulous tension under the surface that never loses pressure, it only rises in orgasmic glimpses. Not to be missed! The trine and the sextile, sadly, cannot measure up.

I love men who have hard Venus/Pluto aspects, unbelievably sexy, and they see my Venus/Pluto, I can tell cos they're relating to me the exact same way I relate to men I desire, and it's as if I don't have to explain anything, they know exactly what I'm feeling, it's awesome.

I'm friends with a younger gal whose Venus is conj Pluto in Scorpio, and she is 'meow!' We actually have a lot of chart correspondences.

I've got a minor aspect between Venus and Pluto, maybe its all the Leo in my chart or having the Sun in the 8th house, but I am very jealous when it comes to those I really adore. But I keep it hidden, which is very Scorpio, its as if I'm controling my real emotions in order to stay in control of things... Not a good method, luckily we all have the chance to change the way we as people go about our relationships, etc. and luckily our natals are not set in stone!

Wow,
Thanks for all these posts.I am gonna come back, tomorrow and study all of them.
Just to comment on Lonake's Pluto trine Venus vs the hard aspects ,now, cuz I can't help myself.
My synastry is Pluto heavy. There is an exact Venus/Pluto trine.I am the Venus.
There is a Moon/Pluto DW.His moon is conjunct my Pluto at my MC (3-4 degree)
My Pluto square his moon(exact)
There is a Mars /Pluto square(exact). His Mars sq my Pluto(exact)

I can feel the Venus/Pluto trine. It feels "nice" and deep ---but deep nice---you could say.
YES,Lonake , the other ones are the tension of a whirlpool bubbling up from the under the surface.
Hmmmmm----very well said.

I will be back, tomorrow to study the posts.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for your thoughtful replies.
I really appreciate the time and effort it takes to post well thought out posts, such as I have gotten here

Ooh you got the heavies with the Moon/Pluto, they're both hard aspects. They can vouch for sexual attraction. Wow and Mars/Pluto hard aspect. Yummm.
Do either of you have Moon/Pluto natal associations, h8 ruler in strong aspect to pluto, moon in the 8th, etc..? That person will slide into this relationship like a hand into a well fitted glove and LOVE it.

Ok ,Lonake
I did NOT add this,if you want heavy.
His Nessus is an exact conjunction to my Sun---15 seconds off.
My Nessus is an exact square to his moon.
That is one only of dozens of equally close aspects.
Our Union Asteroids are exact.
His Eros is an exact conjunction to my Mars.
My Venus is an exact conjunction to his SN and exact opposition to his Neptune.
My Uranus is an exact trine to his Mars.
We have Saturn trine Saturn too

However, the Nessus is killer strong.Nessus feels like Pluto. I got way laid listing all of these lol

I wanted you to see the Nessus ,most of all.

Have you ever felt strong Nessus in synastry?

Honestly I never paid it much of any attention since the way it was discussed just left its meaning vague. But I love roadwarrior's intuitive grasp, and he really brought it to life for me.
So I will look at synastries and get back to you on this thread tomorrow.

This is what his Nessus on my Sun feels like---a laser beam on all the pain I ever had.
It BURNS it away.
However, if you can imagine the pain of a laser, that is the pain of the process

dear readers be very careful about pluto trines....pluto trines i've read, i have some in my chart can be very hard aspects....pluto squares are more over time, pluto trine mars for example means you can erupt like a volcanoe. luckily for me mars is in pisces balancing the effect.

LOL.. I think we need to be careful with our generalizations unless you mean that in your experience those with Mars in Pisces are easily intimidated.

I have Mars in Pisces (trine Jupiter in Scorp and sextiling Saturn in Taurus). I would definitely say that I am not easily intimidated nor have I backed down from confrontation. I have met other people with Mars in Pisces that are also pretty darn strong yet flexible- knowing when it is time to jump in and when it is time to sit back and watch the show.

**Edited to add... Venus, I never had the chance to see Prague when we lived in Grafenwoehr, it was one of the places I really wanted to visit.

I know 6 people with pisces mars. One of them is bit stubborn,so it doesn't show immediately. I spent HOURS contemplating on their personalities...and natal. It iS my personal experience of an aries mars. But,when i looked closely,it is the amount of pressure they don't like, not really that don't have gutts.
Shame... Arizona is far away from prague. But,the best place in the world!
