He needed to be chased by a woman.That seemed really strange to me.
In fact,I never really encountered in a man I dated ,before.
He told me he needed the woman to be the aggessor.
Right there, it was the end of the relationship for me

I cannot chase a man, not openly ,anyway lol

My man has Venus in Aries..And he is not at all the type that you have to chase. BUT I will say before we really got going he definelty need to feel that I wanted him too!!!

Natally I have (Leo) MARS sq. VENUS (Libra).

Personally speaking, I find this aspect a bit confusing. I should reword it. It's a "confusing," aspect natally, that I've learnt to understand & deal with over the years...but I know others find it confusing.

My advice to you is, simply stop chasing him.

Well quite a few things. For starters, it's not as obvious (to others) as other energies like Venus-Pluto, (which I have natally as well). Venus sq. Mars comes off aloof to others, but obviously other people cant read your mind/feelings as to "why," your being that way.

This is an energy where the individual has to consciously learn how to "reign in." Just as that of Venus-Pluto, where you learn to deal with power & jealousy issues. Really depends on the person's age/maturity/willpower.

The best way I could explain it is...think back to high school love/crushes. Your average person when in lust/love acts like a swooning high schooler. Natural instincts are to chase without thinking why or potential consequences. Venus sq. Mars kind of puts the breaks on that, so your car doesnt totally drive off the cliff. Venus-Mars will think,..."I'm 60% interested but that person is 40% off from what I think is an ideal partner, time to put on the breaks." Most people would just go with their heart & dive right in anyways. Venus/Mars will be intrigued enough to want to flirt some, let you chase some...but still put on the breaks. This confuses the heck outta people. That's why it takes a mature Venus sq. Mars individual to really overcome these tendencies...who would think, "it is wrong of me to lead someone on." Then, they wont play games with you even if they like you. I would say someone with more earth would likely take that avenue...although it does come down to the maturity of the individual. "LIKE," for many people is enough, but for motivating Venus sq. Mars, that is NOT enough. Technically we could list out the reasons why we are holding back when it comes to not getting involved. However, it would be plain rude explaining to someone, "I'm really attracted to you, but perhaps your not smart enough to be the future mother of my children."

Honestly if your guy isnt mature enough to figure things out first before dragging you in....
You should just kick him to the curb. When he's had enough time to reflect, he'll realize exactly what he wants. He'll either come knocking at your door, finally having the motivation to want you more than a "LIKE,"...or he'll realize he really didnt like you that much to begin with.
