Mars Cancer here in the 1st house, also Mars conjunct Ascendant.

Cancer is an interesting position for Mars, as it seems to make the females appear somewhat more masculine, and males more feminine.

I find myself most inclined to fight like a demon not for personal gain, but for injustices I see happening around me.

In an argument over issues sensitive to me, I explode, cut the person up verbally, make 'em feel like s**t, and if they're still having a go, I may cry with frustration at their inability to see my point.

Sexually - I, um, like it a rough. :P

I have Mars in Cancer, too. *I* read that it gives the woman a fragile ,little girl quality.
You ,apparently,don't think that is true
What are it's aspects ? Do you have any asteroids conjunct it such as Nessus/Deja/Eros/ etc? Does Pluto make a strong aspect to your Mars?

Interesting indeed.

To answer your questions, I don't know if any asteroids aspect my Mars, I'm still learning the basic aspects in astrology. Do asteroids in aspect to Mars make a huge difference?

I read (and agree, based on myself subjectively) that Mars in the sign of Cancer adds strength to femininity, and softens masculinity. Bob Marks wrote: "Since Cancer is the sign of femininity, women with Mars here tend to be stronger than normal. Remember that Mars is the planet of energy and action, wherever it is placed, and Cancer is a Cardinal Sign, a sign of action."

Perhaps for me though it's also the first house Mars and Mars conjunct Ascendant that's adding the extra oomph.

How are you physically Ami? I'm muscular and robust, and quite strong. Love to move, a lot of physical energy. I'm a Sun and Ascendant Cancer also.

Pluto squares my Sun.

Let me know your thoughts, I'm also into Martian energy.

I feel very "feminine" as far as being soft and gentle appearing. My mind is masculine,though. I think in a logical and rational way( Gem Sun,Merc and Venus).
I,usually,get along better with men than woman.However,I found my niche with woman.
They have to be highly Plutonian woman.
Then,I can relax with them and trust them in the way I,only,formerly trusted men.

For you,Pluto square Sun must be part of your strength.
Look up the asteroids Nessus,Dejanera ,Eros, Sappho and Cupido.
Tell me where those are .

Aqua mars conjunct dsc sextile/trine mc/ic and sextile sun/uranus/great attractor. For asteroids it's conjunct penelope trine magnamity and sextile qumran and aten/clio. Semisquare neptune/merc in the 5th. My draconics have mars in sag, sun/uranus in libra, ascendant in gemini and mc in aqua. Heliocentric mars is in pisces sextile jupiter trine saturn conjunct pallas.

A lot of what drives me is understanding people and understanding why we're here and what we're doing.. what makes us who we are. If I see something going wrong I tend to be slow to take a stand namely because I want to understand it so intensely, and that's part of my drive to end duality (which I am very much stuck in by the way). I don't like fighting for something I believe in because I tend to think things that start in disagreement end in disagreement, and we have so much more in common than that. I think there are easier ways to reach a consensus. I really want to make a positive impact on the world and bring people closer to the universal truth. I want to find a unifying theory to connect everything. I like to talk but I don't like to spend a lot of time socializing unless it's getting me closer to something. With most of my friends I don't like hanging out with them any more frequently than every 6 months unless I feel like I'm learning from them (whether they are teaching me or by virtue of their being). I don't like relationships because they take too much time, and I don't feel like I'm entitled to any rights or needs in them. Oh yeah, I'm obsessed with spirituality now and healing emotions.

I'm trying to think of situations where I act without thinking and the only thing I can think of is my taurus moon needing to drop everything to be there for someone. I also act without thinking choosing to read books over going out with people. If I were smarter I'd socialize more often. If someone is overstepping their ground or being greedy I get angry and act. Also if their logic is flawed and they're espousing it as truth and trying to convince others of how right it is, especially whilst being very judgmental to one group or individual, that will get me to act unless I'm learning something vis-a-vis where I'm little torn. Ok. I tried, but I think my mars always thinks.

my partner has his Mars in Scorpio… and i cannot really pinpoint, but the word "perverse" comes to my mind. sexually, as well as how he goes about things. he has many neurosis and people are confused by him, but he really does not see it.

i have my Mars in Leo too. my mother always told me how impulsive i am, but i never could identify myself with that. i wish i was impulsive. i think something else in the chart is pulling down my true Leo Mars nature. it's in Cancer-ruled 8th house and i used to be almost addicted to sex. i was VERY very sexual and everyone knew it. something happened and i'm dead in that area now, never thought that could ever happen. i hope it's the transit.

The guy I'm sorta seeing now has a scorpio mars and virgo sun. It's almost like Jekyll and Hyde. He's so calm, cool, and collected in public, but once behind closed doors he's like an animal. I was a bit shocked. He never once put any sexual innuendos in his speech.

Mars in Leo is impulsive .That makes sense.An impulsive Mars is something *I* cannot take in my personal life.
My slow to heat up Cancer Mars does not do well with an impulsive Mars.
It is too jarring for me.
So,are the Aries and Sag Mars AS impulsive as the Leo Mars?

Mars in taurus is so sensual. Seriously best make out sessions ever all the way up to the actual act. I was too stupid to do more. That's why I go for mars in taurus. Don't know what I was thinking, the guy wanted to marry too. Could have had waay great sex for life.

I think my moon in taurus offsets the unpredictability of mars in aqua. I do however get upset if the sex takes too long with most people. I get bored and then think I could be doing something else. This later contributes to me breaking up with them. I was with a mars aqua sun in aries and we had it shortly but often and I loved that. After 20 minutes I get angry and I'm like.. seriously get off now or put it away.
