The main difference being my mercury in sagitarius, and probably lack of libra...so certainly I am not a perfect match to the character, but there is more in common between me and him than there is between him and my virgo brother.IP: Logged |

Although in his methods of thought he was the neatest and most methodical of mankind ... [he] keeps his cigars in the coal-scuttle, his tobacco in the toe end of a Persian slipper, and his unanswered correspondence transfixed by a jack-knife into the very centre of his wooden mantelpiece ... He had a horror of destroying documents.... Thus month after month his papers accumulated, until every corner of the room was stacked with bundles of manuscript which were on no account to be burned, and which could not be put away save by their owner.[7]This is me, want me to take a picture of my car and room, you'll see books everywhere, disorganized, laying around....you'll also see tobacco all over my car on the floor everywhere. Yet my thought is extremely organized, especialy after learning astrology, and being able to have a map of the human psyche. That afforded me the priceless leap I needed for my IQ/EQ to connect and to manifest by each other. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I just read your description again, he is plutonian first and foremost.I am even more certain of that now. I can tell you why if you want again, but you should be able to figure that out reading it on your own, and then going to any website that has any credibility at all and reading what pluto symbolizes... ME. Word for word."Holmes is a loner and does not strive to make friends. He attributes his solitary ways to his particular interests and his mopey disposition. In The Adventure of the Gloria Scott, he tells Watson that during two years at college, he made only one friend, Victor Trevor. Holmes says, "I was never a very sociable fellow, Watson, always rather fond of moping in my rooms and working out my own little methods of thought, so that I never mixed much with the men of my year;... my line of study was quite distinct from that of the other fellows, so that we had no points of contact at all." He is similarly described in A Study in Scarlet as difficult to draw out by young Stamford." IP: Logged |

"Holmes] had no breakfast for himself, for it was one of his peculiarities that in his more intense moments he would permit himself no food, and I have known him to presume upon his iron strength until he has fainted from pure inanition."At this point you can just say that his chart is mine with the exception of mercury in sagitarius and moon in pisces...seriously though, just look at the evidence, these are all self descriptions that others have told me about myself, and I even posted these on this board, before this post ever existed. Glaucus, your post has inspired to study more today. Thank you. I feel empowered even thinking that I could be remotely like Sherlock, and I feel an entire new degnitiy and respect for my profession. I think this syncronicity today, the movie, the thread, and everything else, has healed me in the short term. Thank you sir. Your thoroughness is a blessing. It seems to me that watson was the virgo. Don't be...! U r obviously exploring astrology, catchin on mythos and logos, and most naturally, expressing ur opinion. U can be freely politically incorrect with me Sherlock isn't plutonian. For plutonian look for joyce... Look for nietzsche... Dostoievsky

When reading stuff on Sherlock, I thought he had some Virgo traits, but it seems is more than just Virgo traits. The messiness, disorganization could be something with Pisces,Neptune. I believe deduction could fit with Pluto/Scorpio. He has the Sun in Capricorn,Moon in Scorpio if birthdate was January 6, 1861. Moon in Scorpio could be oppose Pluto. Moon in Scorpio and Moon oppose Pluto could fit with his issues with women. The Sun in Capricorn could have the practical, skeptical self expression. Moon in Scorpio and Moon oppose Pluto could indicate the investigative nature.
in the declinations, Mercury is out of bounds. out of bounds planets can function powerfully Mercury square Mars-Neptune conjunction could fit with issues with being untidy, disorganized
there are strong transneptunian influences in the chart too......those are nonconformist energies......even more so than Uranus
Sun square Haumea Mercury oppose Ixion which is similar to Mercury oppose Pluto Venus oppose Quaoar, trin Haumea T-square of Mars-Neptune square Mercury-Ixion opposition with the other year, 1854, He would have Mercury in Sagittarius in square transneptunian Sedna. There is a Mars oppose Neptune Sun in Capricorn trine Mars in Virgo Moon in Aries Venus conjunct transneptunian Eris in Pisces Venus sextile Pluto There is possibility that Moon could square the Pluto Nodes in Cancer/Capricorn which could fit with an investigative nature
------------------ No..I am not a Virgo.

Hey..I'll get geeky trying to find a birthdate for Peter Parker/Spider-Man, and see what could indicate his transformation/change in regards to his being bitten by a radioactive spider that gives him spider-like abilities.hahahahaha Bruce Wayne/Batman is another interesting one.
He probably had a major challenging Pluto transit when he saw his parents get murdered that led him to become Batman. ------------------ No..I am not a Virgo. Developmental Neurodiversity Association facebook group. http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=131944976821905&ref=ts IP: Logged |
