I feel like contributing a little more to this thread. I feel like, depending upon the rest of your chart, this moons power can be so overwhelming that empathy sometimes escapes us during crucial moments. I have pivotal Pisces/Cancer placements, so that helps even out my sensitivity factor to others - but I feel that every Aquarius moon has at some point witnessed someone during a very, very emotional moment and they acted kind of undignified throughout the whole thing, embarrassing themselves in the clouds of their emotions and what not. I know that when I witnessed that as a teenager, there was just this horror that I felt. What if I became hysterical in public? What would people think of me? I thought it was such a way to ruin a reputation and have people know something so deep about you and use it against you whenever possible. Even to this day, I like to have the emotional "upper hand" out of safety purposes when it comes to friendships/relationships. There's definitely an inner power struggle that goes on there. I mean, all of this arises out of a deep insecurity that the Aquarius faces to try and put on a brave face for the world and always strive to be the "better person" for the sake of other people. I believe Aqua Moons turn their emotions inward and have an emotional relationship primarily with THEMSELVES, which may make them appear emotional and detached at the same time to others. The emotion is not necessarily transmitted to the closest loved one, but sort of shared on a general basis. Princess Diana: Sun Cancer, Moon Aqua, and it makes sense to me that the world (the general public) loved her, sympathized with her and saw her as a genuine and emotional woman, whilst those closest to her (except her kids) thought she was an aloof, victim-playing self-absorbed pity-party.

Her Sun in Cancer trine Neptune expressed a great nurturing, sensitivity easily
but she had t-square of Venus in Taurus square the opposition of Moon in Aquarius and Uranus in Leo, and that indicate a highly emotional person that was very unstable in her emotions, feelings and often felt insecure and had problems with self worth Of course, it also indicates problems with lovelife, romantic as well as nurturing, mother It's very difficult t-square to deal with Prince Charles' Sun in Scorpio formed a grand cross to it, and so his self expression, ego aggravated the challenges that she had in other words, he easily brought out the worse in her ------------------ No..I am not a Virgo.
