I liked reading your response, because I really identify with it (including what I didn't quote). What I wanted to transmit with my answer was basically for you to hang in there! It may have sounded pragmatic, but that wasn't my intention. It's just that I've been through a lot of what you expressed, adding to that I also have experienced the fateful meeting with my twin flame. And no matter what people say, that more and more people are finding theirs and sticking together, some of us aren't that lucky. So I was talking out of experience, unfortunately.

I wasn't lucky enough to be one of those cases, but that doesn't mean Soulsearcher won't be. I hope she is.
You'll have to agree, though, that not all souls can be incarnated at the same time, right? :P Some may even have "ascended" quicker than the other half. Their meeting may never happen on Earth, or if it does happen it isn't guaranteed to be a happy/enduring one.

I often wonder the something myself. My problem is that I don't have an overwhelming desire to date. Dating is tedious! I'm definitely more of a nester.

People talking about wanting to meet their Soul Mate really mean that they want an everyday mate...to find a one-on-one romantic partner they feel mutually connected to. Each of us can have this connection with many different humans on the planet...also, life is made richer by different kinds of relationship.

People are always posting on here about how they met their Soul Mate and he's too scared to ask them out, or whatever other bogus lie they tell themselves. The term itself encourages fantasy and projection, instead of openness to real connection and the many kinds of real-life love. It starts to seem like they want a place to nourish their neuroses, rather than looking for real connection.

So instead of going around with a box labelled Soul Mate, and trying to jam people into it, be open to getting to know many people and seeing how each unique relationship might develop. One of them might turn out to be a great love you want to spend many years with...don't worry about whether it's a Soul Mate or not.

@Mamascorpio, hmmm... Well, i do believe that time and the future is like a river and has its possible courses but does tend to deviate from time to time, only bc thats the way it was meant to be.
