Astrologically speaking, from personal experience, the worst offenders were Aqua, Libra, Scorp and Leo. They made me wanna carry a tazer in case I volcanically erupt around them. Not to turn this back to psych-babble, but the un-evolved Ego makes one unable to apologize, no matter how smart or aware the person. The un-evolved Ego also makes us others respect them more for it. We see them as 'strong'. IMHO dilusional and self-involved.  Yet we often take for granted those who have no problem saying it. And we get annoyed at those who are ALWAYS saying it (sorry Pisces :P).

PRIDEMainly fixed signs.
Or Pluto/Sun/Uranus angular.
Fixed energy. ETA
I would say Pluto or the Sun on the Asc would be the worst.
I am not a fan of either. Venus is a fixed/cardinal planet but apologizes if needed just fine.

I am married to a Leo and he is quick to apologize when he is wrong or feels that he has done something that may be construed as wrong. He knows that I will not judge him unless he has done something to purposely hurt me (which he hasn't). Granted, we have both done stupid things, we did not do them to the other person. We don't feel the need to debate to prove the other wrong or the need to hurt the other person. I do understand though, I have two Cardinal parents (Cap Sun/ Cancer moon dad and Cancer Sun/ Cancer Moon mother). THEY have a VERY hard time saying sorry. We have had issues because of it and there was a time when I spent a few years not talking to either of them because of that issue. Now, things are better (at least with my dad) but my mom still gets very emotional, blames stuff on me (last week it was "you were a VERY difficult baby) and then hangs up while we are talking. I'm not sure about this but I think it's easier for a person to see his mistakes and apologize if his chart have most of his planets in the western half, this part being others-focused as opposed to the eastern half being self-focused. And maybe more if personal planets are in the 2nd quadrant? Just a theory. IP: Logged |

it's true, there are at least 2 different kinds -people who refuse to apologise out of pride, and the brainy kind that reason too much and draws logic on the matters of emotion. i think my partner is the latter...pride = Fixed sign makes sense. while my partner has Mars and Saturn in the Fixed signs, the rest of his planets are mostly Mutable (Virgo). maybe it's a mixture of some of that Fixed vibe with the over-analysing! sounds worse... I'm not getting the whole fixed thing. Still I could be an anomaly. My asc/dc is fixed as is my moon, pluto, saturn, and mars. My sun/uranus is mutable, and I have 4 in the cardinal sign capricorn. I try to apologize whenever I feel I've wronged someone. Historically I always felt wrong or bad and kind of guilty for being alive (thank-you mom), so maybe that's where it's from.By quadrants, I have 8 in the second and 1 in the 3rd and 4rth. I apologize easily, and I'm an Aries Sun, Mercury and Jupiter. I only say it when I mean it (although in the past, I've been known to apologize too much, just like BearsArcher's husband). My Mars is in Pisces, squaring my Moon/Venus in Gemini.I know one Taurus who stunned me with an apology - he never apologizes - and he has his Moon in Taurus and Mercury in Aries. My Dad, with the same placements, apologizes when he's in the wrong. IP: Logged |

I have no problems apologizing, although leo ascendant conjunct mercury and aries moon. Maybe it's because of my saturn/neptune conjunction. I am very much aware that there is never only one answer, only one possible way of thinking, only one way of feeling. I am always aware of other people being different from me. My sun conjunct uranus?
It is not that I am not secure, I have my opinions. But I do not need to persuade anybody and I do not want to hurt other peoples' feelings. Not because I am good, but because I am lazy  )) (venus in taurus)
