I see Cap/Saturn and Pisces.
I see a strength of character that I cannot describe, too.
I will have to think on it

This is an extremely gifted young woman...when she dreams, we listen!lol The scary thing is that she remembers every dream she has ever had, and is starting to write them down some...but she would rather paint her dreams...and they are very nice paintings...a hint ... an Ophicius girl

I see Mars in the first house and some strong 8H/Pluto energy. Not necessarily scorpio in the top three. Possibly sun, moon, or venus in the 8th house.

edit: wooops totally missed the answer there. Any chance I'm right about any of the placements?

She has Pluto in Scorp at 11 deg 21'11...which is interesting because my Cappy rising is at 21 deg 11'11 ... I have noticed alot of Pluto energy amongst myself, my bf, and my children however..Her Mars is in Scorp as well...
Her 8th House? Leo...good job...

Ok now I understand the reason why you listen to her dreams. Neptune that close to the asc and all that 12h action.

The Cappy asc gives her that very nice bone structure.

She's very intense but elusive to others. I would describe her as the observer. She observes other people first before deciding on her own actions. That venus square Jupiter said to me lover of the arts, then I remembered how you said she likes to paint her dreams. She's very visual and prefers to show her feelings, emotions, thoughts via art rather than speaking words. Because to her words aren't enough to capture the emotions and essence of what she feels. When she paints she probably uses a variety of shades of one color because she's good at picking up these tiny little differences and the subtlety of how one thing flows into another. I see a lot of blue/purple in her art. Did anyone die when she was young? Does she talk to that person in her dreams? Somehow feeling like she receives guidance from them?

She's very intense and captivating. People are drawn to her because of this. They feel a need to capture her but naturally they can't. Others may also find it difficult to be around/communicate with her because they can't understand and deal with her intensity. They can't communicate with someone who isn't exactly straight forward. Where they have one answer, she has 10. I think she secretly likes this mixture of attention she gets and probably tries to emphasize it more, being different just for the sake of being different. She like the idea of rebelling yet also feels a need to keep some sort of "tradition" in her life and that's a struggle for her. People may see her as rather outgoing which I think she is, however many times they misjudge the depth of her. Much like water. When you look into it you can only guess at what exactly it is you are looking at, the best bet is for that person to just dive in and go exploring assuming of course that they are not too scared.

That's what I feel looking at the chart. As for the actual astrology of it i.e. pointing out specifics I'll come back a bit later to comment. Let me know what you/she/your son think about what I wrote. I'm curious for feedback.

Thanks littlecloud! This is going to help me in learning to read charts properly...I will have to show the kids what you said when I see them next....the 'losing someone when younger could have been her mother who is very ill mentally? Her dad is pretty unstable as well, she never has been very close to either...In some ways, from what I know of her...you nailed it, I will have to get back to you on the rest...
Yes bluegrey...she is very beautiful, but extremely modest...reserved in many ways..
The painting however...wow...mostly blue, different shades of blue...she told me earlier that she has a painting for me to look at...she said she wasn't sure where it was coming from, and then thought of me, and thinks it may have something to do with me...perhaps a past life or something...
She is not your typical 23 year old, wise beyond her years in many ways...not a party girl at all...never has been...she is all about animals, and nature...very spiritual...funny, her and my son were the ones who planted the seed of Astrology in my head, then my spirit took over and kept pushing me towards it...she has been interested in it since childhood, now she is learning from me! Thanx!

littlecloud...if you wouldn't mind taking a look at this one also? I promise not to be a pain in the arse.lol .. It's just that we all have some very strange experiences in life, most of our lives, and we are trying to figure them out, and what our real purpose is here...I am pretty new to astrology, and study most of everyday...this is helping me to read charts and interpret them...and I can see that you know what you are doing, besides a strong 'intuition'....I have found what I believe to be a couple of kites, and mystic rectangles in a couple of our charts...as well as a couple of yods in a synastry of the younger 2...it looks like there is one here also, but with a wide orb, unlike the others I have found....this is a strange looking chart to me...I am calling it a 'sword' til I know better!lol
Thanx sweetie...

Bucket chart? I haven't come across that term yet lonake...what is your opinion on what that would mean for her? Do you think it could to relate to someone who is perhaps a very evolved soul? Thanks again

Well,NN in 9th H is good indication to begin with... I don't know much about asteroids, but i think karma on asc is interesting and formative, too. Then Saturn in scorpio...

Lonake- Yep that's a bucket chart alright.
Blonderiverkat- Here's a link for some brief explanations of chart types
http://www.astrographix.com/birth_charts/guide_types.htm

This is what it says about the Bucket chart:

The Bucket will be seen when nine planets are grouped in one half of the chart and one planet, which is called a Singleton, is in the other. Bucket people are risk-takers and need to be successful. They will tend to focus their energy in one direction.

This one is a good link explaining the aspect configurations:
http://www.lunarliving.org/astrology/grandtrine_kite.shtml

So now as far as this chart. Well the first thing that I see is that both charts you posted actually hit my angles a bit. This person feels and finds their identity in the home. They are defined and define themselves by their home, and family life. However there is a certain power struggle in the house. This person has a very dominating feel. They are very passionate and possessive. Also very single-minded in their approach to just about everything in life. This is a person who will continue to argue a point even after proven wrong for the sake of complete stubbornness due to a feeling of ego loss when they are proven wrong/challenged. When she was young she would tear the head off of anyone that touched anything that belonged to her yet she allowed herself to completely destroy her own possessions, it was only ok for her to do it.

Does she write poetry? Does art inspire her to write poetry? Just by looking at a painting or photograph? She feels the need to write out the story that one sees.

She's very talkative and idealistic and wants to impose her idealistic views on others (whether they like it or not)

Was she an orphan by any chance? Or raised by someone else other than her birth parents?

Over all I think traveling and higher knowledge is essential to her emotional growth. Being in the world allows her to better learn from it. Studying abroad in a foreign country, or learning a different language. Trying to find the everlasting evasive answers of Why?

I'm sorry this isn't as detailed as the other one. But I had a picture for the first chart, plus I have a small headache.

It's even more of a singleton since it's the only placement in Air.

littlecloud...that's okay! I appreciate both you and lonake helping me here...it's helping me to interpret charts, and the links...great!
This 'bucket' girl is my oldest child, and only daughter...not orphaned, not on this planet anyway! lol She does have strong artistic talents, she can draw very well...especially cartooning...but she never felt competent at it, although she has always been encouraged, so she gave it up...never poetry though..no writing..
Family and home life definitely, I guess she has no choice since they have 4 kids under the roof..lol But it is pretty much her life...and my daughter-in-law as well...but all of us are like that...family, relaxing at home...yep...that's us! You guys are awesome, hopefully I can help you guys out one day as well!
I hope your headache goes away soon littlecloud, we have been dealing with them alot lately also...too many downloads at night I think...hehe
