Sorry about the Saturn thing. For some reason I had Saturn in the 4th in my head. It just struck me because it's unsuspected and it made me think of some disconnection with her parents. Over all though an unaspected planet is emphasized in the natal chart. So I would play close attention to the house Saturn rules in her chart (5th house) to her Saturn transits and all transiting planets that hit her 5th house.

Here's something I copied from a website about Saturn in Scorpio:

The seriousness of Saturn blends naturally with the secretiveness of Scorpio. Saturn gives the restraint to keep secrets so that a reserved exterior may conceal an active inner life. The character is deep, subtle, masterful, and difficult to fathom.

Since Scorpio's co-ruler, Pluto, is lord of the underworld, and Saturn rules the mineral kingdom, this combination can produce the would-be plutocrat who endeavors to gain control over a substantial share of the earth's resources. A knack for business and finance may pay off handsomely, especially if investments are made in mines, oil wells, and "the excremental industries" which break down substances and produce waste products which must be disposed of.

The ambition to make money is fed by a desire for the control money brings. The ability to influence people by pulling strings behind the scenes leads by slow, persistent, and indirect stages to the attainment of the power sought.

Often these individuals would rather work deviously than take straightforward action. They make effective detectives and espionage agents who, despite their extreme caution, do not avoid danger. The enemy is ruthlessly tracked down, whether this be a criminal, a psychoneurosis, a flaw in a machine, the germ of a disease, a fallacy in a theory, or an error in reasoning. They will continue analyzing and testing in a dogged, impersonal way until the culprit is exposed.

Saturn in Scorpio can denote emotional repressions and deep psychological complexes relating to financial security, sex, and the disposal of wastes.

In Scorpio, Saturn's chilling influence tends to freeze the surface of the emotions and thwart the fires of Mars. There is an aversion to betraying personal feelings even when the inner life is in turmoil. These individuals generally prefer to stand silently in the background and observe the fuss and commotion of human affairs without becoming overtly involved. Yet they are keenly perceptive and capable of enforcing their demands once they decide what should be done.

Scorpians seldom play lightly with the affections of others and they expect their own highly sensitive feelings to be treated with respect. In love, their passions are fixed and enduring, but there can be a domineering and jealous insistence upon having their own way.

Intensely proud, though seldom vain, they hate being wrong and like even less to admit it when they are. If deceived by their beloved, they can reveal a streak of cruelty making them capable of premeditated revenge, or they can retreat into a shell and resolve to forgo the uncertain business of love altogether.

Whatever the Saturnian Scorpian does, they usually do purposefully, for they refuse to expend their energies on frivolities. Even when playing a game, they are aware that they are gaining physical and mental prowess. They make it a point to observe their performance closely in order to rectify mistakes others would let pass. This deliberately cultivated awareness often leads to the success they crave.

This position often gives an element of dark, brooding intensity which can make its presence felt even in charts where other indications show extrovert and enthusiastic qualities. There is usually a tremendous sense of purpose and determination, and emotional energy will be generously spent on attaining objectives.

An excellent and shrewd business sense is perhaps one of the most powerful qualities of this Saturn placing. These people can do extremely well in big business or the international money markets. A certain heaviness is usually countered by a marvelously offbeat sense of humor, and in spite of the usual Saturnian caution, often in relation to overspending, Scorpio knows how to live it up and enjoys excellent food and wine.

On the negative side obsessive tendencies are all too likely, with determination becoming extreme stubbornness. Sadly, there is sometimes a rather cruel streak; once really set on achieving a demanding objective, this person may be ruthless in attaining it. One is encouraged to cultivate sympathy and greater consideration of others. Much hard work will be carried out, and an emotional involvement in the profession is often essential - even if the basic motivation is to make money, this is enough to put them on the road to success.

The sex life can be complex: sometimes a full and rewarding expression is inhibited, and as a result the individual can feel dissatisfied in this sphere of life. It may be that Saturn’s inner authoritative voice will instill jealousy and envy, and if this is not fought against with tooth and claw it will have a very negative effect on the personality and, sometimes, physical well-being

thanx littlecloud...I see a couple of things in there that definitely fit her and an issue her and my son have had ongoing...I know this not because I am a snooping mother, but he confides in me, and me him...
Is there anything more that you can tell me of her spiritual nature? Her awakening, and/or spiritual gifts...?
Perhaps asteroids Kaali and Pallas would show more into that, but the outer planets come into play in that area as well correct? Thanks again hun...you are awesome!

I actually have some pretty strong synastry with your daughter, cool.

Truth be told, I know nothing about asteroids so I can't comment on those.
I would encourage her to use her artist talents. I think I took the 3rd house to literal in the writing sense but since she likes to draw cartoons I think she should continue to express herself that way. I feel it's important that she do this and receive recognition for it, even if it's only from family and friends. As far as her gifts I'm not quite sure what they are, but it looks as though she would have some strong intuition with three planets in a water sign and four planets in the 4th house. The mercury neptune conjunction helps her receive accurate first impressions of people. Throwing Jupiter in the mix emphasizes all of this. The tight sextiles by mars and pluto help in the accuracy. What I mean is that usually when Neptune is a afflicted it can bring out the more negative which in this case would be self-deluding herself in her intuition, which is not the case.

For awakenings I can't say as that is also something I know very little about.

Interesting tidbit I found;

Neptune in the Fourth House: Neptune "rules" the sea, so whenever possible, live near salt water. This planet also governs orphans and orphanages (places of restriction in general). No, it doesn’t mean you were adopted, but it indicates that as a child you probably FELT adopted. One client reported that, as she was growing up, her mother always asked her "Where are you from. You’re not like the rest of us". Daddy may have been a nebulous and confusing person who seemed to "dissolve" on you when you need him. If afflicted, Neptune here can give a parent with a substance abuse problem. When positive, Neptune here gives a sensitive, sympathetic parent. Your instincts and intuitions tend to get stronger with time. Do some sort of charitable volunteer work as you get older. If you use the Neptune in that way, it reduces the chances that you will spend your declining years as the recipient of such charity.

Okay...my bad...I confused myself for a minute...the first chart is my daughter-in-law, and the second...my daughter...both have artistic talents...daughter-in-law puts this talent to use, my daughter doesn't...I forgot that I had posted my daughters chart on this forum...sorry...

My daughter supresses her gifts, my daughter-in-law doesn't...but she is with someone who 'gets it', my daughter is not...

It's funny though...my daughter is a redhead, flaming, beautiful, copper hair...I am a blonde, her dad was a brunette...although redheads run in the family, I was expecting a darkhaired child...alot of indian on her dads side...we used to joke around saying she was adopted, and that we 'found her', although she knew we were joking...and her dad died from alcohol, and was emotionally missing from her life because of alcohol...although she had more of him than her brothers...it still makes sense...thanks littlecloud...you are an Angel...

I love it when I'm right. Even if it wasn't for the reason I thought. Actually it's more like a sigh of relief because then I know I wasn't completely wrong lol

That and the fact that my gut feeling wasn't entirely wrong. I just associated it with the wrong thing.

Right now there is a lot of debate on my rising sign because my parents both have different times in mind. So I am currently waiting for the release of my medical documents. But if my ascendant is what my dad claims it is, which puts me right in the last degree of cap/aqua cusp we have some similar aspects. I have good memory recall with dreams too and I engage in lucid dreaming a lot too. I noticed my bizarre fascination for dreams at a super young age so I have loads of journals with dreams recorded in them. Ends up (I am 21), I am majoring in psychology and hoping to direct my study in the field of REM Sleep and actually study the brain during states of Lucid dreaming. So hearing this is really interesting because we have similarities.

I am a Sagittarius, Cap/Aqua rising (if my dad is correct), and a Gemini Moon.
