That's Mick Jagger's generation. The baby boomers, they NEVER want to get old. Leo is the teenager 'What, old? That's not me.' Secretly they all think they're still in the 1960s/70s livin it up. An older lady I knew from that generation, still remarked over being front row at an Elvis concert, and how she got to touch his blue handkerchief or somesuch, and acted like she was still in love with that craze all the excitement from back then, she'll never lose that teenage excitement. I don't think the young people now get so wild about music (screaming/crying/seizures). It was hysteria. IP: Logged |

I wonder what kind of astrological patterns are prominent for people preferring haute coutures. I for now, am not a fan of this style. It is too odd for my taste. To me fashion should not be ladygaga-esq / otherworldly. I rarely like something in this category. To me style is all about choosing the right fabric, right colour mix, right pattern and fit, accentuated with accessories only on a need only basis. When it comes to fashion and style it is all about that balancing act. I don't like any of the mainstream fashion shows cos' you cannot wear any of them in real world without looking like a clown. BTW, I have a Virgo Sun in 5th house, Moon in Aries 1st House. He does have Mercury with the Sun/Moon sq to Neptune.. I'd bet anything that those are both tied to angles. Jupiter in Sadge, square the nodal axis very tightly, perfect for excess. Mars is exalted in Capricorn, conj Saturn, double dose there, probably reins in some Jupiter Sadge tendencies, tho I don't know anything about his personal life. I imagine that combo is great for construction of any kind. Jupiter in Sadge trine Uranus in Leo, effortlessly individualistic, his life prob had a nice series of 'being in the right place at the right time', unexpected opportunities.IP: Logged |

Here's Givenchy's chart, from AstroDatabank, Also Sun/Neptune hard aspect, he has his opposition on the angles, The god of wealth in the 2nd trine Jupiter in the 10th conj Sun conj Mc. Wow. There's a Moon sq Pluto, tho, and a loose opp to Saturn from Mars. Neptune/Saturn aspecting the sun for vision and execution/workmanship. Sun Pisces Moon Libra for romance. IP: Logged |

These pictures are how I would love to dress. A bit unrealistic, I know. But the dresses are beautiful and perfect for concealing weapons and the leather just looks so good.

Fun stuff ladiez!~Blugrey, Your style looks so asian lol. Do you still live in Korea?? VenusDi, Yeah I think many Virgos are dressed to the 9's. Stylist Rachel Zoe comes to mind...she said she's a Triple Virgo in an interview...doesnt get more neurotic than that. ----------------------- I'm Virgo Sun, Libra Stellium. I Loooove Haute Couture. Designing & looking that is... I tend to spend & collect "quality or unique," pieces,...instead of going bargain hunts for quantity over quality as most my gf's/women do. I do shop less than your average female, mostly because I hate collecting tons of useless crap. My style is between Kim Kardashian or some of Blake Lively's Gossip Girl styles. I love Bf-blazers over a shiny-sequined top that covers the butt, black skinny jeans or leggings. Stiletto heels & big slouchy bags. I looove black full body pencil dresses, or pencil skirts that goes to the knee, paired with RED shiny heels. I've got 3 pairs of red shiny patent leather heels, as insurance. I dont like wearing bright reds & pinks. So heels or accessories is as far as that colour goes. I LOVE BLACK & WHITE...Coco Chanel trademark, "couleurs." I love Blues, Greys, GUNMETAL, Silver & light Golds. That's basically my wardrobe. When I go to work, I'm scrubbed out obviously. Yoga pants, white puma runners, hoody, pony tail in a nike cap. Agent, we sound a bit similar. I like getting a few nice pieces too. Some expensive (for me anyway that I usually save for nice occasions (read: nice occasions=places I know everyone else will be dressed up) but usually I'm in sneakers, will little or no make-up. I just don't care/have the time. I'm always running around for things, probably because I'm always late lolIP: Logged |

Agent_009,sure it gets more neurotic throw in virgo merc,or virgo stellium... ford,lagerfild-virgo sun, libra venus. I hate buying lots of stuff,i really have to think while shopping, and therefore i just skip it. That's just ain't right! I avoid going to stores or malls; I either order it or force my mom to fetch it although,i'd love to visit top shop store in london-not to buy, just to see what's the big deal about it! Littlecloud,u r like my manga obsessed friend, she doesn't wear katana or shuriken, still, works really well, and she is from eu,not japan! she is such a sunshine, not to mention faces people make when they see her. I really encourage it,to dress the way one wants,it's healthy, lovin' ur body.. I think that dresses of yours are menagable(that type, long, sleeves, although they are costume).. Mixin with fedora,or some strong jacket, like tweed or leather. IP: Logged |

haha not really! that's not what I meant either. It is just that I don't like fashion that is practically unwearable - i.e Lady Gaga style. Just by mixing random colors and weird accessories does not make it stylish. It requires more than that, if you know what I mean. IP: Logged |

I'd wear it to picnic, for example...u name it. It's attitude ! Of course, challenge is greater when u do ready-to-wear collection,u have reality-check and constant demand for new. Haute is wild, creative, unique,it hits human vanity spot. Lady Gaga isn't haute. She is in costumes,24/7 performer. I don't like her anymore, she is everywhere. IP: Logged |

that is precisely what I am talking about. I used to have respect for that kind of fashion years back, but these days, they come up with all these silly shocking ideas, that it really makes me think that they have no fashion sense. Fortunately or unfortunately I don't go by popular demand - i.e just because someone makes their way to the Paris runway, does not necessary qualify them to be some kind of experts. We'll at least that is my opinion. . No wonder I never watch those runway shows. IP: Logged |

In other words I prefer to draw a line between real style and some of those runway clowns who call themselves to be fashion geniuses. Somehow I cannot fool my mind into thinking that throwing some kind of a silly bucket or some crazy headgear on a model's head, or making them wear some weird ugly looking shoes would make a designer some kind of a fashion genius. I look for something called aesthetics, which somehow disappears as soon as you see this kind of "fashion" on the runway. IP: Logged |

Hey VDS I have a huge favor to ask (if you can do it of course) can you sketch your idea of that dress and post it or something? I'm thinking I can get my aunt to sew it, or hell I'll even give it a try. I'm tall so I know I can pull off the dress. I just needs the boots and the daggers to go with it. Honestly though the sleeves are the best part I also agree with LindaGreg. IP: Logged |

Yes VDS, I don't have a problem with pretty dresses. Aren't they better than ugly dresses, any day? haha I look for the style in the very essence of the dressmaking.I think that although accessories do add a different dimension to the dress itself, they should never dominate it in a gaudy sense. Mixing and matching is another art altogether. Sometimes(not always) the less accessories the better. And shoes are absolute important to finish the look. Gosh, I am so passionate about this stuff.
