It's interesting you said this - because sexual selfishness is one of my pet peeves with Taurus Mars... I see it as the opposite of Scorpio Mars behaviour (based on my own experiences). Goes to show you that astrology is never set in stone.

Out of curiosity -- Does your Pisces have a predominance in personal signs/houses in his chart? In particular Aries and/or Taurus?

My ex is the same- he wants you to perform and live up to his needs all the time. He has a Pisces Sun, fixed Mars (in Aquarius)... he is mostly fixed, except Venus in Aries, and Pluto and Neptune.

Intense romantic/sexual energy. This Mars in Scorpio guy (Aries Sun, Taurus Moon) literally SHAKES when he's around me, hands, body, everything. Awkward though, tries to kiss, tends to miss. Brooding, mostly quiet, but very straightforward, no qualms saying how he feels.

It's an unusual type of person.

Mars in Scorpio woman - hmmmm, can't say too much. As much as I love my best friend with this placement, in argument she makes no sense whatsoever, is selfish beyond belief, attempts to sting as much as possible, fails, and apologizes a year later. Mind you, Sun Virgo, Moon Libra, Taurus rising - can't be easy for her.

I have this placement too. starzy54's description of her fiance sounds about right! :/ not that I'm proud of that. I struggle with this placement too. Mine is at 0 Scorpio which I've been told is a really strong placement, it's also my chart ruler. In the 7th it manifests in relationships. I'm pretty passive until I have sex with someone. Then I become really pushy, particularly as it pertains to a sexual relationship. I think I'm a great partner but if that energy doesn't get used up entirely, which I find it hard to use up entirely, it can be destructive.

Well, I have had a lukewarm experience with Mars in Scorpio.

I do think that you get differing types of Mars in Scorpio's. Maybe, the one that is described on these sites is when it is expressing its energy in its purest form; without any hard aspects from any other sign position.

I have Mars in Libra and perhaps share, to a very large extent, the same charactersistics of someone who has Taurus Mars. I am LAZY with a capital "L" at times and my sex drive does vary- depending on the partner.

Anyway, my experiences with Aries and Scorpio Mars have been similarly unsatisfactory. They seem to bask in the drama and delight in picking a fight, winning it and shoving the opponents head in the sand.

Another Mars in Scorpio I had an interest in was extremely sexy but his approach in bed was so aggressive that I was immediately turned off.

Not in my experience.

Mars in Taurus is the one placement that - (despite my immediate sexual attraction for these men /I have Taurus Venus) - I would stir VERY clear of.
The main reason is that they don't look after themselves. They develop many health problems due to their unhealthy eating habits and overall lifestyles. Also due to these habits they don't have much energy.
It seems to me like they'd be happy sitting on a couch watching tv and eating fast food - for a life time.
Sexually - again - the lack of energy is just off putting. I can't DO everything while they do nothing and 'lie down'.
It's just tiring lol

fmaous mars in taurus that springs to mind, madonna...she ain't no couch potato (has virgo moon too)

mars in taurus is a common placement for dancers,

aspects to mars can increase stamina, (and create blocks) mars/saturn and mars/ pluto especially will modify martian energy,

Michael Jackson had mars in taurus too.

Betty Boop, maybe mars opposite pluto has a scorpionic flavor, that's what I have in my chart, and it's easy to feel.

After AscTaurus's description, me thinks it's time to pay more attention to Scorpio mars
Aries mars, conjunct venus and sun, opposite pluto, trine neptune : need for extreme drama, check; delight in shoving opponents head in sand, check; aggressive in bed, check

I've got Cappy Mars, conjunct Neptune and sextile Pluto.

Once the Mars/Pluto gets going I get scary.

However Cappy Mars is just awesome and gives me a whole lot of perseverance which I need.

It feels like dynamic when he be around me. I feel it in the air. I wonder if I will snare him like an mars in cancer girl but.... I think his scorpio mars already know what I want ....I still feel the same after 1,5 year.

scorpio mars and venus are for me strange power.

Hmm.. I think it's very passionate. It wants to do things only when they arouse deep emotions. Determined, and very focused. If it wants something, REALLY bad, it will make everything possible in order to get it. And EXTREME. Scorpio Mars wants depth. Something has to move inside for them to take action. Can be calm and collected, cold and calculating, but also direct and forceful, courageous and spontaneous. Depending on the situation, and how they manage to deal with it.

I have a cap mars & my SO has a taurus mars. Stamina is not an issue for any of us...lol. my experiences with venus taurus makes for very lazy lovers. Couldn't even tell if he was breathing half the time or if he was even awake! Lol I know that for my SO and I we work until exhaustion & literally have to take a day or 2 to just lay around to recover.

My closest friend is cap with a scorp moon & mars...I can only take her in small doses. Literally drains me. Paranoid as hell, tactless & belittles people she deems less intelligent than her. Always straight for the kill & asks questions later.

dysfunctionalmystic -

I like your nickname!

quote:
fmaous mars in taurus that springs to mind, madonna...she ain't no couch potato

I know a woman with Taurus Mars who is perfectly fit and healthy - almost as fit as Madonna. I often notice differences between men and women with the same placements. I'm not sure *why* this is. It could be that traditional astrology is accurate - and women display their Venus/Moon more - while men display their Sun/Mars more. Or it could be due to social factors. There is a lot more pressure on women to look thin/fit/beautiful etc...

I should not have implied that Taurus Mars men are couch potatoes - This isn't *always* the case. But I stand by my initial comments that they are often unhealthy. At the end of the day it depends on the overall chart. The men I've attracted in my life - who have this Mars - also have other things in common. Maybe it's a mix of things.

Maira -

quote:

I didn't know he had a Taurus Mars.
But it's interesting because what I said kind of suits Michael Jackson - other than the couch potato comment.

quote:
They don't look after themselves. They develop many health problems due to their unhealthy eating habits and overall lifestyles.

I can see this in MJ ^

quote:

It definitely does. I have Mars/Neptune conj sextile Pluto.
With the opposition - it's kind of like a Scorpio Mars only a lot scarier lolll

Eating habits are usually a lunar issue, I think it might have been Donna Cunningham who wrote "the moon in your life" and she covered it quite well in there.

Mars is how we take action - how we get what we want.

Taurus is patient and will put in a lot of effort at a steady pace. Scorpio is much quicker to take action, this is why Taureans can generally cope with scorpio energy...they don't rise so quickly to their onslaughts which minimises conflict.

As a mars in taurus woman who just spent 5 years living with a mars in scorpio I can tell you the biggest problem between the two is that taurus has a much slower build up than scorpio which can be off putting... whereas scorpio gets bored and frustrated at waiting. Both desire intensity in sensuality but go about getting it in very different ways.

Taurus only gets unhealthy when it gets greedy for something, it's also lethal for this sign to rest for too long - they just can't get going again unless someone uses a cattle prod!

BB the name suits me well lol
