I have a 12th house stellium, Cancer Asc., Scorpio Moon, and Taurus Sun. I had my first drink at 19, and I recently got "drunk" for the first time at 22 years. It's fun and I can see how a glass of wine/beer a day could be addicting. My chart is very fixed, and I think the will power it gives me allows me to have self control.

Well, what I know is that the fifth house rules gambling and that Jupiter is more associated with it as being a risk-taker.

But.. you may be right.. Neptune is in Sag, Jupiter is the ruler of his 5th, Sun in 9th, Neptune ruler of 9th.. aagh complex

Scorpio!!! I work a place where a lot of alcoholics comes by, and as I always have to register them I get to learn their birthday.... and there is a lot of scorpios! Haven't seen any pisces yet but a few cancers

Scorpios lean more towards thr Alcohol while Pisces goes for the drugs.

The happiest day with my alcoholic Scorpio mother was as an adult. I was visiting the family farm where one of the worst heat waves was cooking everything (the pond was vanishing even with attempts to keep it filled and it sometimes exceeded 110F/43C, and the house I was staying in did not have AC.

But mom's trailer did, and it was in sight.

Since a cousin gave me some rice krispie squares made with ganja butter who wanted my opinion on them, I decided my mom should give her opinion as well, and went over. I told her outright I'd split the ganja treats with her if she let me enjoy her powerful AC awhile.

Deal. And she also pulled out a cold bottle of brandy, which we had with the treats...oh we were high, which made the AC feel even better to me. We joked and laughed so much, too. I don't think we ever got along as well as we did that day.

As for my personal experience, I think I've known more Scorpios with drug (including alcohol) problems than Pisces or Cancers. In addition to my mom I know a hardcore liquor drinker who dabbled in other drugs, and another Scorpio who really liked the Mary Jane (and dabbled in other drugs, including alcohol). It's about bed time for me so I may be forgetting others. Offhand I can only think of one Pisces moon I knew who was a recovering addict. I'm not including those who I don't consider to have a problem (be it legal or illegal drugs, which includes alcohol), that is to say not an addict (including alcoholic).

Based on my experiences alone:

Scorpio are boozers (especially the Moons)
Pisces head for the drugs
Cancers-I don't know too many but they (we) drink but it's not our undoing in the end because something "shinier" or more fun/important always wins.

I am a Cancer Sun, Cap Moon sq Pluto and I used to drink, a lot, BUT I collected fine wines and I really did, and still do, love wine. I don't drink anymore though because exercising is more fun. I also dabbled in drugs (cocaine) for a somewhat odd reason: I enjoyed doing it while cleaning my house. Swear to God! Guess the Virgo in me needed a boost LOL
Haven't touched that sh1t since 2000 though and never will again.
