Are leos generally attracted to "ethnic" peoples?
I read this in sextrology, and find it to be quite true with the leos in my life.

I'm not.

I mean, I'm definitely open-minded and would be happy to find myself attracted to a person of any ethnicity who was a good match for me...but the guys I always seem to go for are not "ethnic" in the way you mean.

In my experience Leo men are very patriotic (sometimes to an extreme) and in general they like to 'stick to their own' so to speak... although they do not overtly discriminate.

However - on a purely sexual level - every single caucasian Leo guy I know/have known had fantasies about either black or hispanic women - sometimes both, because they think these women seem more *raw* and *real* - in a physical sense. I don't know Leo men of a race other than caucasian - but I would be so curious whether this is true the other way around lol

Leo women seem to be attracted to a very broad range of men. As long as they are fit and have a standard of looks that suits Miss Lioness lol
However Leo women also prefer to interact with people of the same culture/background. Although sometimes they become very fasciated with ONE particular culture... Mainly if this was in some way a part of their studies (Basically all Leo women *study* and at some point have the desire to become teachers). I know two Leo women who are fascinated in this way - by Indian culture. One of them speaks Hindi - Her degree is in anthropology but she has also taken Hindi classes at Uni level.

PS. The sign associated with a love of other cultures is Sagittarius.. and its ruling planet Jupiter.

Did it specify if Leo men or women prefer exotic looks?

Like everyone else said, all the Leo dudes that I know have never branched out from white girls.

But I'm a Leo Sun and like Lioness I like latino men, actually I pretty much am attracted to anyone who looks nothing like me.

I always attributed this with my Sagittarius Ascendant. I thought Sagittarius and Gemini were more prone to date exotic types.

I'm a Leo and I've always been attracted to darker skinned guys with longer hair but never a relationship. Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans and Arabs and Indians but I've never had a relationship with one. I really like the shirtless look on these guys. That is sooo hot. It seems like they're almost always Taurus too. I came close to a relationship with a Guamanian Taurus but he turned out to be such a sh-t sandwich I haven't tried with another ethnic since. LOL. It just seems there's nothing in common beyond the looks. No compatibility.

WOW.. That explains so much!!
Me personally I am white, and I have ONLY dated Hispanic men, I have become fascinated with the Hispanic culture.. I just love it. I love the close nit family ties...
Which now makes a lot of sense..

I have Cancer Venus in the 4th opps Sag Jupiter in the 10th.. Both square Pluto in the 7th.
So I have a T-square with Jupiter/Venus/ Pluto
H4/H7/H10...
Sag is in MC/ I also have Jupiter in the 10th.. Its late degree (why its a T square with my early degree Venus/Pluto)

WOW and answer to why I am only attracted to Hispanic men.

Even my first crush at 11 was Hispanic..

PS... I would never date a guy with Blonde hair.... Dark hair is a MUST!!

Yes! The darker Taureans just hit my erroneous zone! Taurus is the cusp of my 5th house after all.

My first love for latino men was when I went to Spain!

Lioness,

Leo women I know (friend, cousin etc.) are all attracted to people of different cultures. Does not neccasiarily mean they end up with them, as they have been with their own as well but they seemed more inclined to culture. My leo massage therapist LOVES my mediterranean culture and has mentioned that she "belongs" to a culture like that when I tell her about our big weddings and events!

I also think leos are social and very warm people (more like hot lol) that love children, people, parties so maybe passionate culture appeals to them. Almost like a lion and their pride!

My two closest Leo guy friends (both white guys) are very attracted to naturally blond, fair-skinned women...I've had conversations with both of them about it. One says that's the only type he ever goes for. (His wife is that type...not very vavavoom, very very thin and Waspy, with long blond hair.)

I am skeptical of when sunsign books state stuff like that. That just adds to my reasons why I don't own a single sunsign book.

now that aside

My mom's half brother Dino is Portuguese,Spanish, and Puerto Rican. He is dark as I am.

His 2nd wife was a white woman with Sun in Leo.

I was briefly involved with a French Canadian woman ,and she had Sun in Leo.
My ancestry is Black (have no idea what African nationalities are in me), Portuguese,English,German,French,Italian,Puerto Rican, and Native American Cherokee.

My stepfather had Sun in Leo. He was mixed too. He was mixed with Black,White,Native American, and Polynesian. His mother was from Trinidad. His second wife was Japanese, and he had 3 daughters with her.
My mother was his 3rd wife.
Therefore, he had 2 interracial relationship.

Robert DeNiro has Sun in Leo,and he has been in relationships with women that have Black ancestry.

but any ways...people of any sunsign can be attracted to ethnic types

Well mines a little different... I only date one white guy when I was 13.. lol If you want to count that...

I have only dated Hispanic men, never dated any other nationality.

Both my kids are bi-racial
white/Hispanic..
I married a Hispanic man.
Any and all men I have spoke will speak about are Hispanic..

I would never say I wouldnt date some one of another nationality, bc I would.. Just I really really really love Hispanic men...

The Leos I dated did.

I think for one, it was due to his Venus Gem/Jupiter Sag opposition.

Before me, he's dated one other Asian woman, and a few other Hispanic women. I asked him if he was attracted to his own race and his reply, "Not really, but when I was a teenager I dated a few."

Second Leo has Moon trine Jupiter, with Sag Mars.

I've got a 9th house leo sun and i've always been attracted to other ethnicities but in general I wouldn't say it applies sexually. Maybe it depends on house position as to how it manifests? beliefs etc have always had a big pull for me which is 9th house stuff

I'm white and my Leo is half japanese/half spanish. He always tells me I am the exception, he never dates white girls. Incidentally, I'm also the girl he wants to marry so yay!

So I would say yes.

Although my Leo girl friend only dates white guys, so who knows.

I just want to point out something.
Hispanic is not a race.
It's referring to a Spanish speaking ethnic group.

Hispanics can come in all kinds of colors.

They can be fairskinned, blonde haired,blue-eyed to people that look black as in somebody coming straight out of SubSaharan Africa.

3 of my mom's 4 paternal halfsiblings are as dark as I am - dark tan/light brown skin. Their mother is around that color. The other has skin that's tan/yellowish like my maternal grandfather.

My mom's stepmother's mom was Puerto Rican, and she was almost dark as a medium brown.

I was stationed in San Diego when I was in the navy, and I would go down to Tijuana,Mexico. A lot of the Mexicans down in San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico were as dark as I am and even darker.

It really depends on the level of mixture and genetics works in unpredictable ways.

2 darkskinned people could have a lightskinned child if there are genes for it.

I used the word Hispanic not as a race, but as a nationality. Because I have dated more than just one race in the Hispanic culture.

I never once said, that all Hispanic are dark.. I said dark hair is a Must for me..
Even though some hispanic will have lighter hair, I prefer dark hair. Some have had light skin, some have had dark skin.. I just in general prefer the hispanic culture.. Doesnt really matter about the actual "race"

I have date
mexican
puerto rican
costa rican
Spanish (spain)
mexican/russian (dont ask..lol)
cuban
cuban/mexican
mexican/white

Ive never dated a white or black man... But Ill take a Shemar Moore any day of the week..
OOO and LL Cool J... LOL
I like Johnny Depp but not Brad Pitt..
shrug...
I dont like guys with blonde hair.. ITs a pet peeve of mine.. Even though I have blonde hair... lol

You said that your kids are biracial white/hispanic which implied that both white and hispanic were races.

That's why I wrote that stuff.

Shemar Moore has a black father and white mother like Barack Obama and me.

Kristoff St. John who played his brother in Young and the Restless also has a black father and white mother.

A lot of Mexicans are mestizo (mixed European and Native American)

Did your son's father have that type of mix?

I have all of my aunts and uncles' birth certificates, and my stepgrandmother's race was listed as white on all 4 of them even though she's obviously have other stuff in her besides white.

Im not totally sure, I do know his Grandmother on his Dad's side was half White/Mexican. Not sure about anyone else.

So yeah he has probably Europen somewhere in his line.

Usually when you fill out papers for race it lists
caucasian (not hispanic)
hispanic (not white)
It usually doesnt ask for specific's..

My daughter looks fully white
My son looks fully Hispanic.
----------------
What I was saying earlier, is that I have a preference of Hispanic men, but I would not refuse someone because of their race/nationality.
If Im attracted I would go out with them..
Usually most of my attraction are Hispanic men.
Some celeb. that I think are attractive that I would date in real life that are not hispanic are.
Shemar Moore
LL Cool J
Mark Whalburg
Johnny Depp (he was actually born in the same town in Ky as I was, same hospital)
His grandma still lives there, a few block from my g.ma...
Alex O'Loughlin

Just to name a few

Right, and at this point almost everyone on the world is at least a little bit mixed-raced, with the exception of members of a couple of tiny, remote indiginous tribes that are dying out.

I know what the OP meant, though. We all use a lot of shorthand when it comes to race and ethnicity. It's not politically or technically correct.

Hey all

Saggie here (leo moon). All guys I have ever been involved with were foreign (apart from one). Is is just my saggie influence...I can't help it. My last boyfriend was Mexican, loved learning about his culture but sometimes differences can get in the way later on. In a chart what indicates to foreign partner?? I was told in my chart, I had this.
