I have a Sagittarius Jupiter and I tend to like Sagittarius and Aquarius comics the most (Uranus conjuncts my Jupiter), and the occasional Cancer comedian (the Moon trines my Jupiter). Eddie Izzard is my favorite comic. Very off beat and unique.

In terms of my sense of humor, I have a dark sense of humor, I will say things just for the shock factor. I'm terribly sarcastic and quick witted. When I'm on, I've got comebacks like no other. I like dirty jokes, but clever, not crude.

i SORTA relate to mine (leo), but not that much. my two fave commedians both conjunct my SUN by a degree though (one's sun, one's moon, both 14' aqua, interestingly). i adore the two of them TO PIECES and think it must be their conjunctions to my sun, moreso than jupiter.

Jupiter in Cancer house 2
Venus(in Pisces) Trine Jupiter
Jupiter Opposition Uranus(In Capricorn)
Yes my mom is hilarious. And bringing up the past can be pretty funny too.

My favorite comedians are Dave Chappelle, Larry the Cable Guy, Joel McHale, and Chelsea Handler.

I also hate romantic comedies. (except for the wedding singer) It's so annoying when a guy wants to watch romantic comedies/chick flicks/likes them more than I do. (I'm thinking wtf is wrong with them?, these kind of movies suck)

Yea that show Mad TV has always cracked me up.

These movies are funny to me:
The Hangover
It's Pat
Happy Gilmore
Billy Madison
Pineapple Express
Big Money Hustlas

And I like a lot of Adult Swim shows on Cartoon Network.

Jupiter in Cancer - Mother jokes, family-related jokes, jokes that sound familiar or remind you of something in your past.

Now we know who first came up with "Yo Momma" jokes lol.

I wouldn't really say that I am really like that. Although I have jupiter in cancer it's trine my sun in Pisces. I love religious jokes.

I also love cappy Jupiters, I love political satire (The chaser's war on everything was awesome)and British comedies (Yes Minister (very cappy jupiter), Keeping up Appearances, fawlty towers...etc)

Jupiter in Sag...but not close...I LOVE blonde jokes(I am blonde), and my sense of humor is more 'out there'...I love Robin Williams, Kip Adotta, and Jim Carrey...my oldest son has Jim Carrey down...my boys are Aries and Cancer...comedians to say the least...they are the only ones who make me cry from laughing so hard...

Jupiter in Sagittarius - Culture jokes, travel jokes, philosophical jokes, potentially offensive jokes, student-teacher jokes, college/university jokes.

Given my unaspected Sag moon rules my Jupiter in the 9th, I also have a rather soft spot for potentially offensive and just plain offensive jokes and philosophical jokes too

I also like Scorpio's description, then again I am a Scorpio rising *rawr*.

Oh yes Anglerfish, Keeping Up Appearances is hilarious!

And the people I know with Cappy moon have to me, have the most indescribable sense of humor. They can just look at me with a certain face expression and I loose it! Yes they don't even have to say anything to crack me up.

Hmmm, as for commedians....I like Dave Chapelle, Adam Sandler, George Lopez, That Ferguson guy, Tracy Morgan, Steve Carell, and a bunch of the people they recruit for those VH-1 specials.

As for movies and shows that make me PMSL....

-The Hangover
-Bridget Jones' Diary
-The Office
-Mr.Deeds
-Scare Tactics (hosted by Tracy Morgan..hahaha)
-Harold and Kumar (part 1 and 2)
-George Lopez Show
-Chapelle Show

The only correlation I see to my Jupiter is that Lopez is a Taurus. I guess I just like it when people can make fun of life...it makes it that much more bearable...LAWLZ.

Jupiter in Leo in 11 house.

I can't relate. I like sex & taboo jokes. Jokes with a real human element; unfortunate things happening to real people.

Jokes I can't stand are ones I call "Aries humor" the art of deliberately making fun of another person for fun, hehe. "I bet you haven't had a date in three years", "You name sounds like Lassie the dog, how bout we call you Lassie, that'd be hilarious", "You're breath is so bad..." That kind of stuff.

What I find funny is the story where my Mom's friend said she was hypnotized into giving a random stranger $200, thought it was an investment. Not until the stranger walked off did she realized what had happened. Funny.

Geraldo Rivera digging and digging for that Mobster's treasure chest...on live TV.

A basketball player calling timeout, his team was out of TOs (wait, what?), game over.

...funny

Jupiter in Sagittarius, in none other than the 5th house!

I prefer quick-witted convos, dry humor.. anything with a spontaneous kick to it.. prepared are like those pre-prepared meals that you stick in the microwave and blast, it just doesn't taste right!

It's situational, it's not black-and-white, you know? I don't know if others can relate

Cake or Death? Lol...I love Eddie Izzard, probably my favorite comedian too!
I don't have much of a synastry with him, my Jupiter is in Pisces, but I think I love this crazy Uranian type cause I have my Jupiter squaring my Uranus, and Uranus trine Asc, so that must be it...

I looked up his chart. He's got a Virgo rising with his Aqua stellium packed into the 6th house. So, Virgo theme... That also probably explains why he appeals to me. He also has Pluto in the 12th conjunct his Asc which explains his eyes (he's always looked Scorpio rising to me because of how prominent his eyes are). Also gives him kind of a spacey far out quality.

Actually, now that I think about it, a lot of his comedy has to do with other cultures/countries and travel. Maybe I am more Saggy Jupiter than I thought. In one of his DVDs he also does a great bit about the Bible, so religious humor in there too...

I have Jupiter in Leo in the 8th house conjuct Sun, Venus, Mercury.

I like to poke fun at myself for the most part. I feel like in this life you have to be able to ease up and laugh at yourself every once in awhile.

I make fun of my depression and suicidal tendencies sometimes.

I remember one day telling my counselor I had purchased a rope and told the clerk I was building a tire swing set for the neighborhood kids and after that happened I return the rope the next day. My couselor tried so hard not to laugh during the session, but I needed to find the humor in something so saddening, suffice it made me feel better enough not to go through with it.

I like dark humor, sexual, wierd, out there, campy..I just like **** that makes me laugh my ass off.

I love Jupiter Cancer's humor because they have most wild childhood stories.

My s.o and his friends, coworkers, and family adore my humor, though I don't know why cause I don't think I'm funny, just realistic.

For example, my s.o says he finds the racist label "cracker" so funny, but I told him he's the thinnest "cracker" I ever met, so I said I'm going to call you "wheat thin". And now everyone calls him wheat thin.

I make comics every once and awhile on facebook, I wanted to do comics for the college newspaper, but I'm too shy to do so.

I'm a big comic lover, I love Garfield, Get Fuzzy, The Boondocks and Zits.

My fave comedians are Dave Chapelle, The Wayans family, Eddie Murphy, Jim Carrey, and Jeff Dunham.

Though the one that takes the cake is George Carlin.

Damn, his eyes are just GORGEOUS...

As for the Sag-type of humor, foreign culture, different languages...his own Jupiter is (if I'm not mistaken) in 0 degree conjunction with his Sun, so he's "Sag-flavored" himself, and that probably appeals to your Sag Jupiter...and to me too, cause I have a Sag-flavored chart myself

I see George is a Taurus Sun, Gemini moon, Leo Ascendant with Jupiter in Capricorn.

Yeah, I can see the SATURN in his humor.

Jupiter in Virgo and that's pretty much true with me. Off color jokes and raunchy sex jokes offend me to the point where I won't even give a courtesy laugh.

I thought the Boondocks was funny before, now I think it is HILARIOUS ever since my sister was kind enough to point out the symbolism to me. Which reminds me: I'm a big lover of satire...especially when its so un-PC. LMAO

Jupiter is spirituality, the relatives, religion, and also expansion, growth, a lot of, excess if in a negative way, but we can all choose to view it positively (that's the Jupiter way!)

Jupiter in aspect to Mercury can give you wide branching view of your mental processes, Jupiter is the best and the brightest, it is the best possible thing to have connected to Mercury (at least this is the way I think about it, the other Mercury brain configurations aren't that important, at least, not as much). Jupiter on Mercury shows you the most, a lot, of all sorts of stuff.

(as a side note)_ I guess it would also help to have Sun on Mercury, that would show you how the main plants thinks.

How about Robin Williams? This is really interesting. He's a cusp between Cancer and Leo, (cancer 28 deg.) with mars conjunct uranus in cancer in a grand trine with a moon in pisces like me, and a scorpio rising. So we look at pluto (18 deg leo), it's conjunct mercury (22 leo), almost exactly conjunct his midheaven at 22 degrees as well. Check this, my merc is 22 scorpio, it squares his exactly; and his jupiter trines the two at 13 deg. aries in the fifth house inconjuct his rising scorpio 12, here it is http://www.astrotheme.com/portraits/x76C5m6vVnL4.htm. Robin is very good in going head first into a comedy act with blinding speed, charging headfirst and being able to sensitively and articulately, pull things out of his ass, this is huge with the mars conjunct uranus as the apex of a t square, with neptune opposing jupiter in libra. That super tight inconjunction between his rising and jupiter denote even more strangeness. HAHAHA!
