Uh, that Jupiter in Libra one is nothing like me lmao.

I like immature, stupid humor and shocking jokes - dirty jokes or 'blue' comedy, bathroom humor, stuff like that as well as really silly slapstick type stuff, but it depends on who's doing it. Most of Jim Carrey's style of slapstick leaves me cold (unless it's the early stuff he did on "In Living Color"). I even like drier, more deadpan humor. I even like race-based humor and other politically-incorrect stuff as long as it isn't just one specific group being singled out; it's for that reason that I loved "South Park" at one time because they went in on everybody.

The humor I hate most has always been mean-spirited humor, the type of stuff where people get laughs by singling one person out and making fun of them. There's a million reasons in my chart why that's so, and it's always been that way. I just can't find humor in or get pleasure out of in watching someone tear someone else apart.

There's also a blurry line there in humor that actually makes me angry - when people are ribbing someone and you can tell that the other person is clearly getting upset and taking it personally and the one making the jokes keeps going, or tells them to get a sense of humor. That actually enrages me. To me it's fine if the other person clearly gets the jokes and definitely doesn't mind, but when people take it to heart and it bothers them, people should listen and respect that. I hate when people try and turn it back on the other person and go, "You just need a sense of humor", or "We're just joking geez, what's wrong with you?" When your idea of 'funny' starts hurting the person it's directed at, the right thing to do is STOP. And if your sense of humor is as great as you think it is, you should be able to think of plenty of other things to joke about that don't hurt that other person anyway.

Jupiter in Pisces - Religious jokes, ghost jokes, strange jokes, hidden/unspoken jokes, navy jokes.

Jupiter in Pisces……I love jokes that take the p_ss out of religion and in my line of employment navy jokes are an everyday occurrence in the office.

I really like Shaun Micallef –
His Sun Moon opposition straddles my MC/IC and his Mercury conjuncts my Sun.

and Wil Anderson –
His Sun conjuncts my Saturn, his Mercury Jupiter conjunction opposes my Venus and his Uranus conjuncts my DSC.

Pygmy, interestingly enough, Trey Parker the creator of south park has jupiter in libra as well as you, conjunct his sun. Trey also has mercury, uranus and venus within a tight 8 degree orb in libra, giving air to his ways of quirky weird artistic ideas and ways of encompassing all into his menagerie of satire and obscuring them all to have strange interpersonal relations, by that I mean celebrities. Also, his strange sexual perversions; to add, he has venus sextiling neptune in scorpio.

With Jupiter conjunct his Sun, I can definitely see why he's so funny.

I'm wondering if the house placement of Jupiter has more to do with what people find funny than the actual sign? Because my Jupiter is in the eighth, and I read the interpretation of Jupiter in Scorpio and found that closest to my own sense of humor...

I forgot to mention that I also have jupiter in libra, in the sixth house though. Feel like my humor is sort of a mix between the jupiter and libra thing.

Maybe you guys can read for your strongest signs/planets instead of your Jupiter sign?
My Jupiter scorp fits, but then again I have strong pluto too.
Other than that I'm stumped

Reading the latest posts...at this point I think that while sure Jupiter can give one or two hints what someone's sense of humor is like that maybe it takes looking at the entire chart and how it works together as a whole to really understand what someone finds 'funny'.

jupiter in aries.

I like a dry sense of humour, dark morbid jokes, innuendos, bad puns, sarcasm, political jokes and definitely insane weird jokes.
LOVE john cleese and all the Python boys obviously, and Craig Ferguson (actually if anybody watched it yesterday, he was on FIRE.)
dylan moran, Hugh Laurie, Billy Crystal (Miracle Max<3)
Larry David is funny but i've never found him QUITE as funny as all my friends do, i get tired of the - look how crazy life and the people in it are! kind of humour.

oh man, i was going to post a link to a monty python skit but i couldn't choose and now i can't stop watching them.
Denis the Constitutional Peasant (this is probably my favourite ever!)
Exploading Penguin (YES!)
Monty Python's Best Sketch Ever (TIN!)
"I fart in your general direction! Your mother was a Hampster and your father smelt of Elderberries!"
Tis But A Flesh Wound
The Funniest Joke in the World
"Noooobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition!"
The Department of Silly Walks
The Lumberjack Song
Defense Against Fruit
the airplane skit
