I don't know if this has got something to do with my transits but it is a relatively recent occurrence.I am having heart palpitations, sudden flutterings of my heartbeat that happen when I'm resting. Sometimes they are gone in a few minutes but sometimes they last for a long time. As an example, today I felt these palpitations for almost two hours and they made me feel very exhausted and weak, so I had to lie down and take a rest. I'm 22 and I've never had any heart problems before, my ECg and blood pressure readings have been normal and I have normal range of cholesterol. This has only started happening in the past 2-3 months but has increased in frequency over the last fortnight or so. I have not had any caffeine for the last fortnight: no tea, coffee, cola or chocolates so I can't really blame them. I'm going to see a doctor tomorrow but I would still like to get a perspective on this. ------------------ Ask Me anything. Anything. I will contrive to bring you the answer. The whole universe will I use to do this. So be on the lookout. This book is far from My only tool. You may ask a question, then put this book down. But watch. Listen. The words to the next song you hear. The information in the next article you read. The story line of the next movie you watch. The chance utterance of the next person you meet. Or the whisper of the next river, the next ocean, the next breeze that caresses your ear—all these devices are Mine; all these avenues are open to Me. I will speak to you if you will listen. I will come to you if you will invite Me. I will show you then that I have always been there. All ways. ♥ IP: Logged |

When Pluto conjunct Neptune in my Chart, my health collapsed in almost every way. I became very weak, and relied on praying a lot, because I couldn't figure out what was causing my health problems - including chest pain and heart palpitations. At the end of the transit, I prayed and begged, and finally within a weeks time had the correct answers. I had thyroid disease, and further, it was being caused and stressed by gluten intolerance. Eating gluten causes my body to attack itself. When I stopped eating gluten, my chest pain and all other symptoms went away. IP: Logged |

Hmm, that is interesting...I have this chest pain, like a blockage in the middle of my chest. Wonder what's up? Read at a spiritual blog that this happens with the opening of the Heart Chakra but having a different perspective never hurt. Thanks PS ------------------ Ask Me anything. Anything. Heart chakra opening imho. You do have active kundalini.Edit: sent that before reading your post. I second that. It never hurts to look for medical reasons, but that's what I'm leaning towards. I get them too along with chest pain, usually associated or after some emotional phenomena. IP: Logged |

I'm not meaning to imply anything, but for what reason did you have an EKG done in the past? Or did you just get in done in these last 2-3 months due to this problem? Sorry for the interrogation...I'm just kind of confused. Astrowise, I wonder if its pluto? He's going through you're 6th house stellium right now. When he started hitting both my 6th AND 12th house stelliums, all these problems with myself that I was never aware of before until they interfered with my life were diagnosed. Now, with Pluto approaching my Neptune-Merc opposition...people are hinting at me to get my thyroid checked. You and I seem to be very close in age too, so he's probably hitting our same gen planets. Anyways, keep us posted on the doc visit! IP: Logged |

Forgive me, this is not astrological. It sounds like SVT (superal ventricular tachycardia). Atenylol works really well for this. You really need to call an ambulance to come and at least do the EKG even if you don't want to go to the hospital. You have to document it and catch it while it's happening so they can see if it's sinus tach or something more serious than SVT. I have a pituitary brain tumor that causes Cushing's Disease, Low Growth Hormone and Hypothyroid in addition to low electrolytes. One of the first symptoms was SVT. My heart rate would go up to 260 and stay there. If you let the episode go on too long it can cause a stroke. It wouldn't hurt if you could get an endocrinologist to give you a standing order for cortisol testing at the E/R when this happens. It's a very common sign of endocrine and pituitary tumors. This is TMI, but do you have to pee really bad at the end of it?IP: Logged |

And how would we know this without an reliable EKG to tell us? Lets not play MD before we have all the facts, not all palpitations are life-threatening...or ventricularly based. IP: Logged |

Benedict, I think he/she is just saying that it's important to get the EKG so that she can document it and really figure out what it is... IP: Logged |

FQ I went to the doctor's today for this same reason. It is usually anxiety related but they are referring me for an ECG, mainly because I did have a heart condition that was surgically corrected when I was a toddler.Don't worry you will be fine. Unless you are feeling intense pressure or chest pains it's more likely to be stress related but good to have the health checks to rule it out eh? Keep me posted and I'll keep you posted too IP: Logged |

That's what they always say. That's what they told me. They even said thyroid didn't usually cause it but it often does. I'm not trying to scare her. A pituitary brain tumor is almost never cancer. It affects the steroid hormones and they control the heart rate, blood pressure, insulin, fluid levels, lipids, sex steroids like LH, FSH, Testosterone, etc. If you don't believe that, research it. I've had to because when you have this disease, you have to be your own advocate. Most people with pituitary or adrenal tumors go for years, sometimes decades, dealing with doctors who attribute it to stress, depression, or weight. The doctors are like the blind man and the elephant and they try to treat the individual symptoms without looking at the whole picture or doing the proper tests. The symptoms are very generalized and they're told that it's a rare disease-which it's not. Anyway, it's nothing to be that alarmed about, but it couldn't hurt to get an EKG and an MRI especially if you have other symptoms like weight gain in the abdomen and back with relatively thinner arms and legs, unexplained bruising, insomnia, thinning scalp hair, "moon face",leg cramps, daytime sleepiness, anxiety, etc. IP: Logged |

I have been having this issue to the last couple months... especially when Jupiter was closer to the Aries point and now it's starting to get strong again with Uranus. I don't know if that's the reason... but I have gone to the doc and been checked out and nothing is wrong. There have been a couple times that the pain/weirdness has been so strong I have drove myself to the ER but never got myself to go in tho. I just saw that your mars is at a critical degree just like mine... mine is at 29.24 Sag. Maybe that could be part of it? IP: Logged |

Thank you everyone for replying The doctor couldn't find anything and my EKG came out normal which was a relief for sure. My symptoms were getting pretty intense yesterday but I felt much better today.
Mochai: Yes I think it's just Kundalini. Last time it knocked my digestion for 20 days
BenedictMoon: Last time I got my EKG was about 5 months ago when I was in the hospital with a bad case of viral.
Stillatlarge: Thank you for your concern. I studied Medicine so I'm aware of supraventricular tachycardia which is why I went to see a doctor to put my mind at ease. I understand your health condition as well and wish you a distress free life. Thank you for your concern.
Quinnie: Yesterday I had really intense pain and pressure in my heart and for a moment I was finding it difficult to breath. It's good there's nothing physically wrong with my heart. I was suspecting mitral valve prolapse with my symptoms but I'm glad I'm okay.
Lucie: I've been reading a lot of blogs about the 11:11 ascension phenomenon too.
Racole: A critical Mars could do that.
I was prescribed pain killers and have been advised to follow up if I find the symptoms persist or recurrent. So fingers crossed IP: Logged |

Frozen Queen for your own health chuck the pills. They will only make your health worse. Please just do this. Mochai knows about kundalini and even she said that drugs are bad and make it worse. So on that note, please chuck the pills and drinks some chamomile tea instead IP: Logged |
