Yes, Hodad, you would have the Scorpio Vibe.

Dear Starfox
The 8th house just strengthens the Scorpio energy.
It is a good house placement,I think, cuz it is Scorpio's natural house.

VenusDiSirius - I still don't see it.

Scorpio Mars women are just as sexually attractive as the men. They are just as capable to plan, handle and craft anything they put their mind to. And they are strong people in the sense that they can go through a lot of painful things emotionally, but they never give up on life and the people they care about. At the worst of times, women (and men) with this Mars will be a pillar of strength for others - This was always my experience.

When it comes to Taurus Mars - I see Taurus as practically reliable, able to plan and get things done. But they lack the emotional dimension of Scorpio Mars and they are more self-centred.
I still like Taurus Mars though, mainly in women. As friends they are great. I simply wouldn't readily open up to a Taurus influenced person... in the same way I would to a Scorpio influenced person, because they don't seem to understand certain things. This is my own bias (my Capricorn&Pisces influence).

my partner has Mars in Scorpio. My Mars is in the Leo 8th house. our sexual and emotional dynamics are WEIRD. it's exhausting and frustrating but also the constant change i crave from being a Sagittarius-heavy person is somewhat satisfied. i think overall it pulls out too much dark stuff, while we are also good at pulling out the light stuff. there isn't anything in-between.

Would that make you believe that a Mars in Scorpio and a Mars in Sagittarius would get along well then? Sagittarius would always be up for sex, and they'd always challenge Scorpio mars, and they are side-by-side signs. Or do you think that it would work badly bcause they're fire and water? Just for curiosity's sake of course
ok, i lie, tell me everything you think would happen! I'm currently interested in a scorpio mars, and as a sagittarius mars I think fun in the bedroom would become very interesting....

Frozen Queen:
quote:
Agreed. I won't call them vanilla but they are pretty much that way. I wonder if the same can be said of Moon or Venus in Scorpio...the id and archetype of Love...that is kinky *laughs*

Have you ever actually had any sexual experiences?

Well Frozen has a Scorpio Sun sign... It's all about perspective.

I agree - I don't see them as vanilla at all.

But then again when I have my own Sun (Aries) conjunct a man's Mars in Aries... I also see him as "tame" because he is "tameR" than I am - in a sense.

So - Frozen, I could see why you might interpret them as vanilla in comparison to yourself (mainly if you have/had the Sun/Mars conj in synastry). Mars always feels a bit subordinate to the Sun, in this conjunction.

I actually agree with Frozen Queen here and I think already went into detail why on another thread. Its part of their psychological mess/controlling behavior in my experience.

Anyways, if you had read properly you wouldn't have missed that she said she *wouldn't* call them Vanilla, but rather she agreed that they were very traditional.

They then said ''but they're pretty mcuh that way''
Ok so if you agree they're pretty much that way, pretty 'vanilla', but then say
quote:
Its part of their psychological mess/controlling behavior in my experience.
And then agree
quote:
...they are very traditional..
Are we saying most signs are messers and psychologically controlling?
Because you've set out to decry the position as ordinary / vanilla (presumably through direct experience), and then posit the 'mess / psychological controlling'' notion.
Is the real intention just to defame the position in general, regardless of any real insight or even whether or not the things you list about this placing conflict eachother?

Okay, first of all she was quoting me, so when she said *they pretty much are that way* she was saying *they pretty much are very traditional*. Therefore, that is what I am agree with her on. Once again, read the whole post before you insult someone you don't even know.

Re: the position. Everyone has their own perceptions. I have personally disliked every male scorpio mars I've come across (and thats about 4 of them) for reasons I'm not going elaborate on over and over again. If that bothers you, fine, but please respect that not everyone will have the same experiences as you.

Just found out that the guy who has a crush on me has Mars in Scorpio. And I couldn't be less attracted to him. I have Mars in Gemini and I'm usually attracted to air and fire Mars guys. Especially Mars in Leo. Awesome placement.

My mars is in Aries. And no...no mal-aspects that I can think of. Two of them had their mars falling around my pluto in scorpio, but that's about it. I think its just the energy that I've always been able to sense. Angry Mars sitting in a watersign is too 'high alert' for my water stellium to take. And I guess my Aries Mars just prefers confrontation to be more straightfoward and less of a psychological maze.
