deja vu...I think I've answered this question about 5 times in the past month, on different threads lol
;edit: Ok so in a nutshell my experience is very positive. I find them very trustworthy. They're possibly the only people in this world I feel an instant connection and trust towards.. Usually I am more skeptical.
The way you see them and the way they behave towards you - also depends on your own placements.
Personally - I think if you have the following Mars signs:
Virgo, Capricorn, Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio... in aspect to theirs - It will work out really well! If it is NOT in aspect but still in those signs ^^ you're in with a good shot. If you have Mars in other signs --- I'm really out of my element and I'm not sure how these relationships progress. I would say it is difficult. Scorpio can be very difficult energy for the more happy/light hearted fire/air sign Mars signs... and also difficult for Taurus Mars (The opposition can cause too much friction and competition). Sexually they are as close to perfect as you can get (again - FOR the feminine Mars signs!). PS. There are people out there with Mars conjunct X planet... This changes the influence of Mars.
I know in '82 for instance - Mars was conjunct Jupiter in Scorpio... That's NOT a classic Scorpio Mars.
It is odd and strangely affected by Jupiter in a way i just don't dig.
So it's important to also check out the natal aspects to his Mars, not just the sign! IP: Logged |

Interesting...What's with girls and a man with Mars in Scorpio?? It's like all the chicks(no offense) are just drawn to this placement like moths to a flame *rubs chin thoughtfully* I'd say just do a Lindaland google search and you'll come up with more answers than you can take. ------------------

It is interesting! I'm more partial to firey Mars men, myself. I feel a Scorpio ascendant/Sun would be enough Pluto in a dude.

Mine's a little less positive, but then again...my mars is in aries. I find we have some things in common being mars-ruled, but the psychological crap they bring to the table is not to my liking. I prefer my confrontations a little more straightfoward even though I have 2 stelliums in a water sign and water house. That's why I'm more partial to their axis cousin Taurus. IP: Logged |

JFK, I'm Mars in Aries as well and I prefer a fire or air Mars too...after resolving Scorpio/Pluto issues throughout my adolescence(I've got four planets and one angle in Scorpio), I find the Mars in Scorpio thing a bit too much nasty stinging and whining than my straightforward Aries would handle and that's saying something.I know a friend who has this placement and while she's a warm friend, she simmers a lot under the surface that I can't help but pick up...too much tension and it frays my nerves, my Scorpio stellium nerves at that, talk about irony *shakes head* ------------------

Well, I was studying my guy's natal chart and noticed that he has Mars in Scorpio, and his Venus is in Capricorn. My Mars is in Leo, and my Venus is in Taurus. But, I've been rather interested in Mars in Scorpio after I've been reading some about it. It seems like they can be very passionate, and I know that the sex is great. In fact, it is by far the most passionate, intense sex I have ever had in my life, and I find that I am very addicted to having it with him, and I've never been that way before. Recently, we decided to make a bet to see who could last the longest before we begged the other for sex. After three days, I crumbled and lost the bet. But we are starting the bet over again, and hopefully this time I win but I doubt that I will. The sex appeal is out of this world, and I can't contain myself no matter how hard I try. All it takes is one look from him, and I want to strip of all clothing, and scream take me now. There is something about the Mars in Scorpio eyes... They look straight through me, and the stare is intense intense intense! But one thing I wonder is his Mars is Conjunct to Pluto which is also in Scorpio... Would this make for a deep, dark side? Or just intensify the sex appeal?

I agree with what Betty said.My guy has a mars Scorpio and i have mars Pisces.And we get along quite well.I'd say our affections and needs are quite matched.He's very passionate and loving,and i love the attention he gives me.He is very serious in matters of the heart.
doesn't like to play games,or be toyed with.
definitely not a causal affair.He is very marriage and children minded.mentions it all the time.its very flattering to be on the receiving end of a mars in Scorpio man,especially if you like passion and excitement,silliness and romanticism.His placements are

Pixie - Whaddaya know?My Venus is also in Taurus (opposite Pluto in Scorpio).. and I have Capricorn Moon and Capricorn Mars -- so technically I'm like a mix of BOTH of you  To answer your question - It depends on what you see as "dark". Do you have Venus/Mars aspects to Pluto?
I doubt a person with this Mars would do anything to make you uncomfortable sexually. They have great self control and are very intuitive, so if they sense that you are more into traditional sex - rather than anything experimental or 'dark' /taboo - (as you put it) - they won't push it.
They only push it if they think you have those fantasies and might enjoy it.. and usually they do this slowly/gradually enough so as to not psychologically harm you in any way (as they make great psychologists). But ultimately - mars in Scorpio people end up with partners who are up for anything sexually. If you are *not* --- then he might drift away in time. It's not so much a superficial thing... but sex is very emotional to them and it's a way to connect with the person on such a deep level and really *know* them.. If they cannot persuade you to lose your inhibitions.. they will feel a loss of control and also an inability to truly connect... It creates a distance from their perspective. Frozen -

hmmm Na... I wouldn't say all chicks.
I'd go as far as to say that women who have both a masculine Venus and a masculine Mars -- would not give Scorpio Mars men a second thought.
But mine are both feminine, so they suit me. And my motivations for liking these people - both men and women (with this Mars) - are personality-related.
I mean I love the sex with one man in particular.. But that's not what really matters to me.
What matters to me is that I know I can count on him and trust him with my heart and mind. The women make awesome friends as well. I like them just as much as I like Scorp Mars men lol I can't stand superficial BS - in particular in romantic relationships... I don't know about "all chicks" -- and what they are drawn to...
But in order to genuinely fall in love with a Scorpio-influenced man.. and in order for things to work well between the two of you -- you can't just be a -"chick" who wants to fuk him-.
You have to be a human who has affection & understanding towards him, a human who can connect with him.
Maybe that is the case in all relationships --- but with Scorpio (even more so), because Scorpio is not a superficial sign.. and they don't like sex for the sake of it.

I know what you mean. Mars to me is still mars (angry and needing to blow off steam) so when its in a sign like Scorpio or even cancer, to be able to sense the tension or energy that *needs* to come out is unnerving--having alot of water myself. Its almost like a damn psychic time bomb. I can pretty much deal with any other placement in water, but not so much mars....even if I like them (which I usually do in the case of Cancer).

I didn't mean dark in the sexual aspect, I meant dark in personality, perhaps indicating prone to violence.I am actually more sexually open to experimentation than him, and he is more the traditional type as far as sex goes. But I can take it or leave it and I am perfectly happy having traditional sex. After all sex isn't the most important thing in a relationship. IP: Logged |

i dated a Mars in Scorpio Man (Cap Sun, and Sag Moon) and I am a Mars in Scorp woman (Cap sun and Leo Moon) our bday was one day apart. Most people would think this would have been a good relationship and it was for a while. AMAZING SEX, i have yet to have sex like that again. great convo's we were both homebodies so we would often sit in bed nearly all day on our days off and neither really complained. we werent very affectionate outside of the bedroom, which was fine by me( Venus in aqua). BUT: we would both get into these dark moods, esp him, he would sometimes get so depressed about his financial troubles and i never could make it better. at the same time, i had just gotten a good paying job and i think it was tooo much for his ego.
