It could well be the end of all suffering, for this is also the dawning of the Age of Aquarius where “Peace shall guide the planets, and Love will steer the stars,” as the song said.

Apocalypse is the word often used to describe the “end of days,” but, leaving Hollywood-style disaster movies aside, what does this actually mean? The word apocalypse means “lifting the veil,” or revelation of truth.

No prob. When I first heard of Venus' esoteric ruler I immediately clicked to Gemini and 'The Lovers'. I'm also a Gemini Venus so it completely makes sense to me.

What were the major events after the 2004 Transit of Venus? Or the 1881 & 1889 transits??

In the other thread with the Video link, that astrologer asserted that anything which comes too close to the sun is combust. So this transit of Venus means that Venusian principles - peace, money, harmony, finance, art, beauty, diplomacy will be debilitated. Thus we're entering into a dangerous and violent period.

Though I could be wrong.

There are some nice sentiments and spiritual values in the article by Ruth, but it won't have much if any practical meaning to the average person, or even as you see here, to the average astrology buff.

Apocalypse means different events to different folks so I believe it was used appropriately
Wouldn`t a Scorp interpret an apocalypse different than an Aquarius would view it?

Suffering again is of different view points. From "what is suffering" to "what creates suffering and is it avoidable"?
