BUT AMI YOU LIKE ME!!!!!!!  That is something I would say, though (about not getting dolled up). Probably because it is something that I would want to hear, myself. I don't know, I think I'm good at giving advice because I go for objectivity *shrug* And I do think that its important for a guy to like you for you so that there are no surprises later. I also don't usually get "dolled up." I mean, I'm a snappy dresser but I go for comfort over everything else. I also am too lazy to wear make up unless it's a special occassion. I only wear fake eyelashes for Halloween  My mom has an Aquarius Moon (Pisces Sun). I get along well with her (having a Libra Moon and a Pisces Venus). IP: Logged |

aquas are very difficult, my mom too has the exact same whims but sometimz i love to just sit back and watch her talk, walk, get into fights with whomever and just shine.. if i were to be anythng other than a libra i would choose to be an aqua like Lina- my momIP: Logged |

I am a Libra Sun and as....with Aquarius Moon...and I do not dig Aquarian menI need a man with his feet solid on the ground, who is not afraid of emotions. I find that Aquas who are very concerned by the human plight and do genuinely care for humans......absolutely RUN as fast as they can when faced with someone who is genuinely emotional.
They are too cool to be vulnerable also...well the ones that I have met. I could be completely incorrect in my generalisation.....
What I find most attractive in a man is kindness with emotional strength and diversity. IP: Logged |

We missed you too Pire...yes you have a point,and the point has it's place... However, I think that many people fail to give autonomous understanding to why each person behaves and feels as they do.
That's why people are seen as different, as abnormal...and "Uranian"...
I remember what Linda wrote about Aquarians ...(I think it was Linda)...About how they appeared odd, doing strange erratic things. When you watch them for long enough you see a logical pattern and method that evolves...and then you understand Hey the behaviour's not so strange after all. Ami exactly...I can relate to that saying though
Maybe I'm nearly an Aquarius myself.

I think this is a deep contradiction in the Aquarian nature...with a natural scientific nature...they seek to understand and control people's behaviour...They want to fix it, to solve the logic of unconscious behaviour....with theory and logic!
But then faced with the unusual or real authentic contact with other people it's very scary.... because some Aquarians are not familiar with their emotions because they live in conscious thought.

Yeah totally AmiI think I'm getting too deep into this....I wonder what the Uranus transits are today... By the way...I love Aquarians... and I think we all need different things from partners...
Water signs seem to get huge benefit from the logic an airsign can provide. When in the throws of emotions, an Aquarius can say...eh what's really going on here...and as Pire says...why are you using your emotions in this way.

although I disagree with the idea of "control" I think you are right about the scientific nature and the understanding, hence, may be, what can be perceived as an attempt to fix or control, when it is just a rational perception of an issue. but one that is translated with difficulty in a world where emotions, reason, needs and subjectivity are all mixed into one IP: Logged |

I find that the greatest aquarian's quality is the smallness of their drawbacks. we are not great, but we are not "bad", in a sense. that has probably something to do with our relation to emotions, but to be honest, despite what we do or say to other, based on logic, fairaqua gave an example above saying that she would say to not get dolled up but would actually do that herself, well, despite logic being the mental driving force, emotions are very much present in aquarians, as much as in any other human being, since aquarian's rationalism is necessarily linked to what every human has the priviledge to try to master, that is emotions (among other things)IP: Logged |

And if we imagine Aquarians as scientists, lets say a behaviourist, faced with a humanitarian crises...then the crises becomes a problem and the solution to the problem is usually behavioural. But imagine if the crises was diagnosed incorrectly because the scientist failed to listen accurately to the human being... then ironically the behavioural solution may possibly de-humanise. Quinnie I totally agree  Pire I see what Quinnie meant by control, and I get where you are going with the idea that its not 'control' exactly, however I am not sure what the right term would be. Talking of pure aquarian energy, it has no passion, it is devoid of any such base subjective reaction, which I think is tied into that 'control' concept. I think this is where the old ruler Saturn is clearly seen.
