Oh dear, you were just asking me to come out of hiatus weren't you?

Simple answer: you shouldn't feel bad about this girl dumping you because chances are that this vapid bimbo probably can't make a single decision without consulting an almanac or a crystal ball. I wouldn't be surprised if she had Chiron afflicted by Neptune.

And for the record, I don't have a mother complex either. I love her, but damn she annoys me as much as everybody else's mom's annoy them. No two cancers ever manifest the energy in EXACTLY the same way, but some people are too stupid to realize that.

Bottom line, find your time of birth so you know the house placement of your stellium, that'll give a better clue. I can already tell you though that Neptune opposing your Cancerian planets pretty much enhances the energy. Cancer is very imaginative and creative, and Neptune even more so.

Signed,

The Mature Cancer with a flamin' Aries Mars.

P.S. Here's a window into the Cancerian soul, to refresh your memory.

Not everyone hates Cancer!!! I love them. If a girl isn't going to date you just because you are a Cancer, she's stupid and you don't need her anyway!!!

thank you guys...your all very supportive..
@benedict...you say no 2 cancers are exactly the same...what do you mean..i guess its weird now since its more of a contradiction now because im my dads pet..(by the way me and my mum are cancer and my dad and my older brother are pisces) ...whaat is that imagine..just something about it is so striking..and its so expressive..i cant find words to describe it..

thanks grey..i still dont quite understand that girls reaction as compared to other girls i have dated..if i ever find a girl attractive sooner or later i find her approaching me and talking to me but this one confused the crab out of me..

man i have become so obssesd with this that i pretty much cannot think of anything else..it feel like my body is rejecting the idea of just moving on and forgetting about it... so maybe all you guys can tell me what to do to move on from this..personally i dont think i can until i find out everything to the core..

Okay, let me clarify that there are obviously similarities between Cancerians, but we're kind of a...ummmm....diverse group, at the same time. The Moon, our ruler, is the fastest moving 'planet' (in the astrological sense) in the sky. So the way your Cancerian Sun is expressed, as a Cancer Moon, is not exactly the same as the way my Cancerian sun is expressed (Virgo Mooner here).

Also, I believe alot of the descriptions on Cancer are pretty outdated. I can agree that we're moody/temperamental (try to talk to me when I haven't eaten a morsel) but I've honestly never met a Cancer, male or female, that is unhealthily attached to their mother and most of us are as self-sufficient/resilient as we can be.

And the picture above? Its a Surrealist piece made by a girl who has a Cancer Sun and Moon like yourself. Her name's Mia Araujo and her work is amazing (found this all out on an archived post on MysticMedusa). If you want to see more work like it just google Surrealist art by Mia Araujo. I really want to buy a piece to hang over my wall. *sigh*

Well you might not have a cancer moon. If you were born before 10 am you wouldn't. You've got a 41.6666666% chance of being a gemini moon. It depends on your birth time.

Her stuff is amazing, isn't it? I am HOOKED. Its truly like a window to my mind/soul. We really do have colorful minds.

And yeah, you should probably obtain your birthtime so we can figure out your Ascendant, houses, and moon placements.

*edit* Oh, you've posted it. Have you gotten an account on astro.com yet? Do that, and then put in your data.... upload your chart to photobucket.com, and repost that here. I can tell you right now you're a Scorpio Ascendant with Pluto in the 12th, and your Cancer stellium is in the 8th opposed by Cap planets in the 2nd. Would you call yourself 'hidden', not inclined to liking the spotlight, and maybe into the occult? Also...intense, security driven, and maybe a dreamer (stellium opposed by neptune)?

Oh, my bad! I'm glad this stuff is resonating with you. The scorp makes sense to me in the way you *really* want to get to the bottom of this issue. I have a huge astrology book I got on the discount rack at the bookstore, I might post something for you from there....probably tommorow though, because I need to go back to studying. =__=

Alright, Im gonna give you sign placements before the house placements, of your sun, moon, and Venus. Yeah, there's gonna be some cliche family-nostalgic-business stuff in the interp but see how the rest fits you.

Venus in Cancer

Kindness, sympathy, the expression of tru love and affection and a high level of emotion are characteristic of Venus in Cancer subjects. A powerful protective instinct can at times create a claustrophobic atmosphere within a relationship. A tendency to look nostalgically to the past is also frequent, and this may need conscious correction if the subject is not to reach stalemate due to his or her fear of progressive changes. Killing with kindness and moodiness are sometimes present, and the need for a secure relationship is of above-average importance. Ties of friendship will be long-lasting. Love and affection will be focused on the home, and a great deal of money will be spent carefully to make it comfortable- although often cluttered and untidy (whatever). Creative cooking and home crafts will be displayed with flair. A safe, steady growth in capital is preferred, and shrewd investments will be made when possible.

Sun Cancer/Venus in Cancer

The emotional force and expression of love are very powerful, but the inclination to worry over the partner and family is immense, and the Cancerian capacityy for caring may also get out of hand with friends. Here, the qualities are very much as for Sun in Cancer. Shrewdness in business matters is a strong asset.

Moon in Cancer

The Moon is always the third most important factor of a birthchart, but because it rules cancer, its iunfluence is considerably increased when placed in this sign.

The well known natural defensive system, which is such a prominent characteristic of those with a Cancerian Sun, will be equally--if not more powerfully-- present. Defensiveness will be the immediate reaction, not only when the individual is challenged but also in less threatening situations.

Instinct and Practicality

The emotional and intuitive levels are second to none, and those with this placing should learn to trust and rely on them-- their instincts will not let them down. However, it is important that you look for other practical down-to-earth indications in the chart, so that these marvelous facilities can be controlled and not allowed to dominate in a negative way.

The Sun or Mercury in an earth sign, for instance, or perhaps a trine aspect to Saturn from the Moon itself, would be of enormous help. Such a stabilizing influence is neccesary because, in addition to powerful intuition, there is plenty imagination that, triggered in a negative way, can be expressed through worry.

Expression of anxiety

When worried, the individual will tend to think that the very worst has happened. He or she may not neccesarily have a depressive outlook, but apprehension over loved ones can cause these powerful responses to build up out of control. For instance, if a child is unexpectedly late home from school, the subject will soon imagine there has been a serious accident. Nevertheless, both sexes tend to make excellent and loving parents.

From a physical point-of-view, the digestive system will be upset by worry, and is frequently the case that those with this placing have very sensitive skins, whatever their ethnic coloring (heh?). Caucasians will turn beet red in the sun while other races will find it difficult to get rid of even quite minor scar tissue. Protection from the sun, and additional care over cuts, insect bites and so on, is absolutely essential.

Mood and Expression

There may be quick changes of mood, which can frequently be disconcerting foir loved ones to witness. Women with this placing may suffer from premenstrual tension, but should try not to let it dominate their lives.

The face is usually round, with a quite literal moon like shape and glow to it (they always say this about us....*rolleyes* ). When the Moon is placed in Cancer, no matter what its house, it can influence the individual's facial expression: a tiny frown-line may appear between the eyebrowns.

(Okay, Im feeling a bit ehhh about this intepretation....maybe I'll find a Steven Arroyo one lying around my room tomorrow).

i must say benedict that that is a very loose intepretation...however there are somethings in there that do resonate with me..i wouldd say im a walking contradiction to cancer itself mostly

Nice guys don't finish last. It's just that there aren't that many nice people out there, who will notice a nice guy. I like nice guys, and I'm a gorgeous girl. I could easily like the high about themselves douchebags but I'm not that type of person. I always end up crushing on the shyest guys you will ever meet because something inside tells me they're noble and have good intentions.

Be yourself and nobody can make you feel small. Know that rude people will try to be rude no matter what. Don't try to change yourself because someone doesn't like you. A true friend likes you for who you are, that includes your faults. Your faults are what make you, you. If you went around trying to please everyone, then you'd stop being you.

So, you're a nice guy. Accept that. Nobody hates you for it, trust me. Whoever does is number one: An idiot. Number two: a b*tch.

Here's a nice quote: "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." ~Dr. Seuss

Stop thinking that girls don't crush on you that much because you're too nice. They dont crush on you because they dont feel that way about you period. Love is....in the eyes...in the way someone walks....in their smile. It has little to do with how nice or not nice someone is. That's why you can still love a douchebag or a b*tch despite all their unniceness.

Stop trying to perfect yourself. You're fine the way you are. The people who like you will like you anyway, and the people who don't like you, won't like you, anyway. If it's a problem of standing up for yourself, just walk away. You don't even have to say a word. Be yourself.
