Any aspects or placements, etc. to look for in a chart that points towards someone who is too loyal? I wanna check my chart out again, keeping certian aspects or placements in mind.

It could mean that, or anyone who is deeply "grounded" in something that is "astray".

I mean, just in general, loyal. Like mans best friend, dog.

the obvious guess would be scorp. they tend to become very passionate about things/ppl and are very loyal in character.

pisces might get too infatuated with their partners in a very lovy dovy manner.

librans might be loyal to a partner/friend just to keep the peace.

this is to my modest experiance in signs

I think Taurus - they are soooooooooo stubborn that they will do what they've decided to, even if it becomes apparent that it wasn't the best idea after all.

Fixed energy generally likes to stay put. They may go cheat on the side but leaving their main squeeze involves too much work; they're in their groove and can't be bothered.

Mutable energy would find it easy to move on and juggle relationships so they'd be pretty much the opposite.

Carl, don't you have Mars in Capricorn?

Generally venus in taurus.

I was going to say -fixed signs- but a few people beat me to it!

My bet is on Taurus/Scorpio placements... although Leo/Aquarius can also fit the bill, with the right person.

Hmm, sounds like a synastry situation usually, ie. one person being a doormat to another.

As a personality trait? Sun (not conjunct Saturn - too cynical, or even Jupiter - too wise, perhaps conjunct Neptune).

I had a guy who was obsessed with me and wouldn't let me go.. he had moon in scorpio and venus in taurus... and i think his venus squared my pluto in the synastry chart.

I am way way too loyal.. i have loosened up from experience. I Have leo sun and moon (both fixed) and my moon and venus are in the 8th house...

meeee!! But I am getting better at it as I get older (and keep getting screwed over). I will stick by smoeone who has treatd me like crap if they mean a lot to me. I think that is actually related to the SECOND house (house of self-worth). This house is ruled by Taurus.

Mine is empty. I also have a couple of Taurus planets opposing my Scorpio planets (so there are already struggles there). And Venus-Opposition-Saturn. (venus in taurus, opposite saturn in scorpio)

Typical female with that placement is someone who will be loyal to a fault (Venus-opp-Saturn people have to work through a lot to build up their self-worth)... I think I read somewhere that that will be the sort of person who complains about her horrible husband but will not leave... (he probably would have some power over her, and plays on her Venus opp Saturn energy).

What I'm saying is generalised of course.

hehe how nice tnx for mentioning that. i'm scorpio dominant but sun and venus in taurus and 2nd dominant sign. also 48% fixed ack!

if it's just the other person's baggage or whatever i can handle almost anything. but cheating i'd never speak to that person agen ehehe

lol my sister and best friend are taureans and are so like this.. sister is with a scorpio and friend is with a cancer and no matter what their partners seem to do they stay with them. My sisters character has changed completely from being very grounded to very distant, her moons capricorn.

Although i believe, just because ur stubborn doesn't equate to mean your innately loyal that just means ur loyal to ur own opinions not the person themselves. Mine and my partners venus are both in scorpio and we are both very intense ppl who are extremely loyal even though our suns are in more flighty signs; mine being sag and his libra, my moon cancer his virgo, my ascendent leo his aries.

Nah, I have 5 personal planets + AC,MC in mutable signs four them are in sagittarus and still i never cheated.(Maybe it is because my relationships went never long )

Also, i have to agree that fixed signs are an important factor in staying in a relationship and desiring to be loyal( to maintain their situation, not necessarily because they are more faithful at heart) although i dont necessarily think that it is a predominating feature, fixed i take to mean fixed to what is there already, relationships, beliefs, actions already undertaken, the present situation.. fixed ppl dont wanna change from that and would view disloyalty a risk because it could change what they already have; which most would be inclined not to want. I think the definition of true loyalty to be loyal to the person and to themselves and their morals comes from the heart and soul regardless of starsign..because i have seen a few scorpio cheats in my life. Any starsign has the potential to be loyal if they are truly into that person.

taurus: can stay put coz they cant be bothered to start again and r too stubborn about their original choice.

leo: loyal because too cheat would be a common unregal thing to do

scorpio: Loyal because in love deeply and intensely. Cheat because have extremes of feelings and destructive.

There is nothing like "being loyal" but rather "being less unloyal"... "Every man for himself".. You love for your own purposes, you did not cheat to not to get cheated or you'd be sad or you'd be had a sin or you'd have betrayed yourself or you would have bad karma, You did not cheat because society said so.. etc... First we must accept human nature then we can reach unconditional love or whatever it is.

What I find is sags can be pretty loyal when they commit. I was more referring to gem planets.

God. I'm never going to give anyone with a gem anything (moon, venus, mercury, mars, asc) a chance.

I think i understand ur point. You make a good point. True love is about unconditional love. Elaborate further if you'd like, this is interesting. Just curious have you got any libra, or srong mercury/ jupiter in ur chart?

Thx for responding kindly. No i dont have any libra but i have sun conjunct venus which can give "Libra" traits. I have heavenly JUpiter and also sagittarus and 9th house influence.

I tried to say that, for every action we do, actually we do it for ourselves. When you make sth good, people see you as a good person and acts kind to you or you will feel good or you create good karma etc.. but whatever the reason is, at the end it touches your own purposes and affects you. This is why all people who did good things go good things. Because they gain sth such as spiritual,religios,mood,material etc... So being loyal is about expectations from others and ALSO FROM YOURSELF. Today i dont know why i am so philosphical , normally i am carpe diem and a happy sag guy =)).

Geminis are sags polar opposite and would appear the most likely (generally speaking) to cheat as they are predisposed to amorale behaviour and are not consistent, they lose interest quickly. When i think of a gemini they sometimes remind me of the villain, tricking people wheras sag male has many similar traits to a gem but is more like the clown who wouldn't intentionally hurt anyone but often does unintentionally. I know a gemini male who comes across verrry charming and interesting but many of his opinions are thought of on a whim and unfounded and when challenged/debated on his opinions didn't have the depth or breadth of understanding to back them up.. i often find libras do have a high iq and deep level of understanding, well most libras i come across. They have a natural intelligence; that could come from being the only inanimate sign! i've gone off on a tangent in typical sag style lol
