Well, I shall go with "what I don't know doesn't concern me" then, ne c'est pas?

Anyhow dear, what is it now ... astrology is only the projection of the psyche, or the prediction of STDs?

I'm knowing the person has std's...prediction involves time, like you will receive std's on this day...rather i'm saying std's will be in your life.

let me give you an example...if one is a lion tamer, i can say that with a certain certainty based on statistics, he will cross a lion...i cannot predict what the lion will do...for example will the std make you miserable? Will you respond to it? No one knows...no one can predict, but we do with saturn aspected like this, he will have std's. We are knowing it...not predicting it...we are owning our knowledge and wisely discerning.

Thus, you are still predicting because, "will be" is future and future is time which hasn't happened yet from our perspective. The only thing you are doing is avoiding pinning yourself to a specific date so you cannot be contradicted later on.

Also, considering that humans are humans and even if I don't sleep around I wouldn't say never for anyone else, and well saying "you get STD" or "you don't get STD" in itself gives you 50% to be right, that's hardly prove for your l33t skillz but merely playing onto statistics.

I think I'm a perfect example of late bloomer, virgin at 26, shocker for today's standards but eh its kinda late to give into peer pressure haha

-My 8th house ruler is Saturn and he's in my 5th (ironically a house ruled by venus) partying with Pluto!

-Venus square Saturn at 3 degrees.

-Venus and Mars in 9th (I read somewhere that this is a placement for celibacy?!)

-Venus in Aquarius (its always doing something everyone else isn't doing)

-Mars in Pisces (he's lame, I find spacy/detached/against the world types very sexy)

-Venus/Mars square Chiron (I have a feeling this one plays a part too :S )

-Venus square North Node (I'm convinced I was a douchy man in my last life and paying in this one, hence the delayed satisfaction)

On the other hand I'm not asexual at all!

I have Cap Sun. I used to be a very serious/stiff teen, I didn't get into "partying" until I turned 24 and I've concluded, I don't like it.

Having high hopes from my saturn return, after all these years of lessons and delays, I deserve huge rewards and if there's anything I learnt from being a Cap, its to be patient!

aquavenus you have similar aspects to me...and i am pretty celibant by choice even though girls throw themselves at me alot....

it's cause i don't want to have a kid...i have planets in the ninth house....and sexual gratification isn't as pleasing as using my higher mind to win.

My friend has Asc in capricorn with Saturn also forming a conjunction with Jupiter.

He also has Venus in Aquarius forming a square to Uranus in Scorpio.

His Mars(which I assume is also a sexual planet), forms a trine with Pluto. But this aspect rarely shows itself up with him.

His 8th house is in Leo. 5th house in Taurus-which are quite rigid signs.

He finally gave sex a shot at age 25 and was complemented on what a job well done he had done.

I think the Capricorn energy always wants to do the job well and may suffer pangs of self-doubt and depression should they not live up to perceived expectations.

I think this energy has more to do with being competent, impressive and capable than just pure enjoyment of the sexual experience.

That is why I think that a lot of people with strong capricorn influences in their chart tend to postpone something that they feel"not ready" or "not competent" enough in, until they have gained more confidence in embarking on it.

Whilst, on the other hand, those who do feel confident enough to jump right in, tend to use it as more of a status thing or an accomplishment-especially if they are told of how ggod they are in the sack.

Capricorn is saturnine, slow to start and hard to stop....they are like the person that takes alot of potential energy but has amazing power once it can get over that initial energy hump.

This is an interesting topic.

I was pretty late compared to many people when it came to hitting puberty(age 15) and having sex(age 19)

Here is my chart
Sun in Aries house 11
Moon in Scorpio house 6
Mercury in Taurus house 12
Venus in Pisces house 10
Mars in Aquarius house 10
Jupiter in Cancer house 2
Saturn in Capricorn house 9
Uranus in Capricorn house 8
Neptune in Capricorn house 8
Pluto in Scorpio house 6
Gemini Rising

Being a sexual person and DOING sexual things are different.
I consider myself a late bloomer, I hit puberty later than most girls. I also was much older than most when it came to experiences. BUT the 'sexualness' and the drive was there long before.

that sounds just like me

But my problem with the whole late bloomer thing is that repressing or denying sexual feeling does not constitute a late bloomer. A late bloomer for me has no sexual feeling or behaviour. I'd consider late puberty and having no interest whatsoever but anything else is would be characteristic of completely different chart indicators.

What? Everyone has some sexuality, but it can get repressed because of certain circumstances whether their religious, political or personal, etc.

Late bloomers are those that for some reason had inherent obstacles in their way in regards to expressing or fullfilling their sexuality.

I've always been a highly sexual person, yet I didn't become sexually active till way past my teens. I've never had a real boyfriend until recently and I'm not what you'd call unattractive, so that's a late bloomer for ya...

I agree completely.

For the record: I have mars in the 9th (1°52'20" - does this mean "9th but only just"?) and I have been "ready" for it for virtually as long as I can remember. Still, the experience followed much, much later.
As a virgo mars person, I did have all those "oh my god, this won't work out" moments (years, rather), but frankly, who doesn't. I don't consider myself a late boomer though. It's just that I started practising later than I'd thought I would.

(I might add here that I'm not into celibacy, nor I am a "retard" sexually, as I read in some other topic... actually I quite enjoy doing it right. )

Thanks ecomat, I just felt that the term late bloomer was very limiting and didn't accurately describe the reasons why people delay involvement.
