He goes to the drink section I turn back and stare at him.. He looks at me, he has no reaction... Hummmmmm ..

Here's the worst thing I look awful, hardly any makeup, hair half way brushed, t-shirt and jeans.. I look like I just woke up.. lol

So Im thinking I just have to meet him, how can I meet him with the way I look PLUS not let my son see me meeting him...

omg omg omg what do I do... lol

When I leave the store I turn back and look at him.. He looks at me..

I go to my car, when he comes out he sees me in my car, he walks past my car and he smiles at me..
Then BAM! I show him my business card. I have it help up, he kinda back tracks one step (after seeing the card) and takes it from my hand and says "Thank You" and keeps walking...

WOOOO WOOOO... I wonder if he will call... Only DAM the card only has my work number... lol

God I hope he doesnt have any Pisces in him..

Nice! Good luck

In not one to really make the move like that either.. That was a first for me.. He was jus to cute to just pass up...

So I displayed my business card, with no words at all to him, and I still left it up to him.
1. To actually take the card..
2. Lets see if he calls.
He may never call, maybe he just took the card for the heck of it.. IDK...

Either way I can say I gave it a shot.

I agree with Lotis on the reincarnation deal.. saying it's not love at first sight. I think if you remember the soulmate on contact, that's where this whole mythos originated from. Like the stories of the men who after meeting a woman say they just met their wife and they instantly knew. The most intense soulmate spark I had was with a guy that wasn't really attractive and was conventionally the opposite.

No, I don't. Because I believe you don't really know a person, you don't know the real them when you first meet. you have to be able to love the bad as well as the good. you have be willing and able to endure hardships. Love isn't instantaneous, it's something that grows. at the very least it's trust in it's truest form and you don't have that "at first site".

No. More like lust at first sight.

Venus in Gemini/Mercury in Cancer...I need to have a connection with someone first, and it ain't established just by looking at them.

I guess this is the only thing I can say:

i think we should trust our heart more. We're smarter than we think, and we can tell a lot more about a person in 5 seconds of seeing them than you could ever imagine. Science confirms this, you can look it up.

“Your friends will know you better in the first minute they meet you than your acquaintances will know you in a thousand years.”

“Friends are born, not made.” Henry Adams

“Love is when you look into someone's eyes, and suddenly, you go all the way inside, to their soul... and you both know, instantly.”

I prefer the deeper sublime love...not the kind of love

but it all depends on what you define as first site...first years? First week? First month...? first instant? I mean is taht possible?

I don't think so...I think love is something that grows...like the soul...any first site stuff is lust or based on physical attraction...however i do believe that physical attraction is like the first gate on the way to love.

We are good at judging others on first impressions: http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2009/mar/07/first-impressions-snap-decisions-impulse

Love at first sight is very possible, scientific study says:
http://www.bcheights.com/mobile/2.6173/health-science-love-at-first-sight-may-not-be-as-implausible-as-it-seems-1.913678

google search: http://www.google.com/search?q=the+science+of+first+impressions+love+at+first+sight&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari

I learned in psychology class also that psychologist John Gottman can predict within 5 minutes of watching a couple argue if they will break up or not with 94% accuraccy, and he says also the success of a relationship is always based on whether or not your first impressions of that person were very good.

I second that. I wish I had your guts.

I can be all smiling and charming with people casually, but if I am interested oh boy do I turn into the shiest schoolgirl, which then of course looks like I dislike the people I like

If I remember, the OP posted some topics before and apparently she's only had one uh 'relationship' in her life that lasted like two weeks? If memory serves me well.

Lol. So I really doubt her definition of love is anything right. Love ain't infatuation. It does take time bc you need to know the person very well, and see alot of their flaws, know what makes them tick, their quirks, their beliefs, know about their hopes and dreams etc.
And my ex was a soulmate. I did feel love for him when I met him. It was actually this strange recognition and gravitational pull. But it took time to grow into the type of love that it ultimately became... Bc I'm not one to just proclaim love straight out. Real love takes time.

And note to OP: just cos a guy calls you honey or sweety or baby doesn't mean anything. Guys say that bc they're flirts, or they're just being playful. It does not mean they think you're the love of their life lol. But I guess it just takes more experience for you bc right now you're still naive about these things.
