Scorpio sun woman here, and... Ohhhhhhh if you do that to me, keep some uncertainty for the sake of holding on to me and I am on to it, I'm gone. I don't waste time with people who play with my heart. Or mind. If you're really uncertain, it's a different thing, of course

I don't get jealous easily and aftershave makes me feel nauseous, especially if my partner wears it all the time. I prefer "au naturelle"

Then again, I'm only a Scorpio sun, hardly anything else in my chart is Scorpio, so I'm probably not the best example of how a typical Scorpio woman acts!

Taking me places and throwing a compliment is not the way to my heart..

I second that.

I would say we need someone that makes us laugh, gives us attention (not in a materialistic way), someone we can have a good chat. The looks are important... at least we like a guy that takes care of himself.
Avoid criticizing us and trying to tell us how to do things...

Please my fellow kittens, feel free to add more! Meeeow!

Aquarius Venus (and Sun) here.

I'm very picky, so it's not as much what you do as to if I like you to start with. The physical and psychological (as well as spiritual affinity) are equally important. Then again, I usually like guys that aren't classically handsome, so it might be an essence thing. I've got to feel you can carry on a conversation and that you're okay with who you are. Politeness, being able to laugh of yourself and, I guess, not being too clingy. I need my space sometimes. I love being surprised, can't stand repetition. Got to love nature and animals.

Oh, aquarians are very absent-minded and rarely notice when someone has feelings for them. So let us know, in a subtle way. If we seem to not get it, then just spell it out. Do it in a creative way too, you'll get points for that.

If the girl in question has a water moon don't hesitate to be romantic, Aquarians CAN do romance despite traditional belief.

A good place to start is not being an arse, which is so rare these days, unfortunately.

Oh boy, that's so true for me as well (Aqua Sun and Merc, Gemini Mars). I am the last person that notices if someone is interested in me, and when others already figured I am still like "uhm he means me? hmmm naaaaaah, come on, I've never been right here, must be a glitch/imagination".

So yeah, you got to hit me over the head with a club.

I always call myself the "anti-flirt"

Or would that be the cap venus

LOL Yrone, I am the anti-flirt too... LOL I think it's almost funny how I don't know how to flirt. I'm so direct... My idea of flirting is asking questions and getting to know the person, showing I'm open for communication and I'm interested in what they have to say. So lame :P

ha, this is funny b/c i have an aversion to body hair, i shave every night - and i go a bit overboard, admittedly. i just hate the stuble-y feeling of hair! i just like to keep everything "manicured" so to speak. whether shaving/tweezing/waxing... i also have found threading my eyebrows gives them such a great clean shaped look!

***however, i am very hair on my head! i shed like a golden retriever, it's a wonder i'm not bald! my friends call it a "mane" b/c it's very wavy and long like a lion... my landlord was amazed at how often my hair would clog the shower drain! haha

you're spot on w/clothes, at least for me. i don't always wear super bright or colorful clothes, since i love black (can't stand patterns or browns!) but i certainly love fashion and always add 1 edgy or unique piece to my outfits - normally jewelry or shoes... it's my "statement" piece. gotta go against the grain somehow.

I am a virgo and not obsessed with cleanliness what so ever. I feel as though a lot of people over look the analytical side of the virgos and focus on the "nit picking" and "cleanliness obsessed" (which may be products of being analytical). In my humble opinion I think a piece of good advice is to give virgos time, so they can assess the situation or relationship and analyze it, then maybe they will start putting their guard down - if you are lucky.

Can I just restate that my comments were all about experiences with 'ex' girlfriends.

For my Gemini Venus
I don't care if you are young or old, attractive or not, thin or fat etc etc
It is how a man writes and speaks that makes me fall in love.

“Capricorn - be trustworthy, dress well and conservatively, possibly blacks browns or navy blues, get to the top of your field, impress her with your financial abilities - i.e. earning money, and not wasting it. Don't give her too flashy compliments, make sure they are real and genuine.”

I am a Cap female, and I agree with some of this but not all of it. First off, I’ll agree that it is extremely important that my guy is trustworthy and honorable. I also have a lot of Sag in my chart so having someone with a good morel compass, and upstanding values is very important to me. Basically I really want someone who believes in justice, and doing the right thing by others.

“dress well and conservatively, possibly blacks browns or navy blues”

Not really. Perhaps it is my mars in Leo but I find it very attractive if a guy dresses a little flamboyantly, wears a variety of colors, and maybe even jewelry… like rings, or a neck chain or something. And I find it exciting if he looks trendy and hip. Not into the tie and suit look at all… I like the casual relaxed look. Although I’ll admit I don’t like the opposite extreme either… so Mohawks, excessive piercings and tattoos, dog collars, and looking like a junkie are out.

“get to the top of your field, impress her with your financial abilities”

It’s almost like I hate to admit it but… Yes, it’s true. Success does turn me on… but only if I’m already interested in someone, and then I hear or find out about his talent and ability to provide… HOWEVER… there is no amount of wealth or success that can make me want to be with someone who I’m into on an emotional level. I have to be FEELING it first and then the rest of it, such as admiration and appreciation, builds up from that.

“Don't give her too flashy compliments, make sure they are real and genuine.”

So true. Although I won’t mind if the compliments are a little flashy! (Mars in Leo)

One myth that I’d like to put to death is the notion that all Cap women are looking for the male version of themselves… you know, someone who is all serious and conservative all the time. One of my weaknesses is that sometimes I feel as if I’m too afraid to take risks, and that I need someone who is different from myself in this way. Someone who can be a challenge to me, help me stretch my limits, to come out of my quiet little shell, and grow in a positive way. Not that I want to be crazy reckless, just to loosen up and open up more…
This is why I really enjoy people with lots of air and fire in their charts. It’s like I need someone who can balance my security craving, self-protective tendencies. Of course, I also do want someone who will be loyal and trustworthy, and reasonably well off financially and all that… but what is actually most important to me is that I love his personality, and that he is a good friend to me. As it happens I have a Gemini Dsc, with Jupiter in the 7th, and my Dsc ruler Mercury in Sag. A sense of humor, and a passion for life is vital for me in a guy. My 5th house cusp is in Aries and I really do admire courage, and a trusting sort of innocence as well. My 8th house cusp is in Cancer, so sensitivity and a caring nature are also very important. I like some Water mixed in with the Air and Fire. I can take or leave other Earth signs, I mean if an Earth sign makes a soft to aspect my chart that is always nice… but I don’t seem to crave that energy the same way that I crave Fire, Air and Water. Especially Aries (5th house cusp), Sag (Jupiter in 7th), Gemini(Dsc sign), Aquarius (sign on the 3rd,and I have Gemini Dsc), Cancer (8th house cusp), and Scorpio (3rd house ruler, Uranus, in Scorpio, and I have a Gemini Dsc. PLUS, 8TH house ruler, moon in Cancer, in the 8th house). All of these factors mixed together somehow in one man would be awesome.

I think the true key to someone’s romantic taste is in their 5th, 7th and 8th houses rather than their sun sign.

Well for me... Hummm

I want him to just "know' me... As for going out knowing what I like/would like... But never taking me out of my element..

I have to be super honest her... I LOVE super strong manly men... Aggressive but not over bearing or over powering.. (prob my pluto) lol

Mix that with a Leo.

I want a guy that is confident enough to say Look at my Lady..and spin me around for all to see... and say you can look all you want, but dont F---- touch her Or else.. Ohh and protect me.. Be my protector..

LOL.... Ok so I know its hilarious!!
hey thats how Leo/Cancer/Pluto/Pisces plays out... What can I say!

But those strong egotistical men are my problems... sighhhh... but I secretly love it...
What do I do????????

As for gifts Im not really material, I prefer sentimental gifts..

or something that says "I know you" I know what you like...

no one gave out tips for Libra so maybe i could try, i like a man who can ease my worries and man are they a few! also he must be classy and sophisticated, its not about money its more how he carries himself. no sleezy comments/pick up lines or i'm out the door. but mostly he has to be patient, because im (and almost all librans are) a handfull of worries, unfinished thoughts, and unending arguments.

.. so in a nutshell emotional security

Venus, I totally agree with what you've said for Libra. I have been looking at this thread since it started but had no idea really what it would take to turn my head so didn't comment! Apart from looks (and we all appreciate different things), I would really value honesty, integrity, intelligence and a damn good sense of humour!

So true.

I am very much in denial about chemistry/attraction/flirtation until someone on the outside points out the blatantly obvious dynamic - then I'll be like "Ohhhh, I was just teasing him!" and they're like "No, that was flirting" - and it's like a lightbulb turning on!

As for romance, I have a gemini moon - I like very discreet romantic gestures, and only rarely. I feel bombarded with too much lovey dovey stuff, I get embarrassed so easily.

A sense of humor is #1 for a Leo woman. If a guy doesn't have a sense of humor, then there is no attraction. It doesn't matter if he is a stud, if he is a bore, I won't bother. I love sarcasim and perhaps even a bit of a smartass attitude, I also like guys that push my buttons with sarcaism.

And yes, I love manly men, almost lumber jack types! But lioness, we both have fire Mars, you've got Leo Mars, I've got Aries Mars, rawr!

I'm a libra moon, venus and merc (virgo sun) and aries asc and I don't place importance on looks. Even if the guy was hot, if he didn't have a great personality + intelligence, I'd be bored.

Yes to everything you said, except politeness, personally I've got too much sag in me, I like bluntness and sometimes rudeness is funnier and way more entertaining than polite conversation. That said, no racists, homophobes, sexists, etc. I hear some of that and you're already out of sight, out of mind even if you're still sitting in front of me.

I need intelligent conversation, however conversation alone does not make me jump into bed with someone. It makes me see them as a friend, now if there's physical attraction and magnitism ALONG with smart conversation, then most likely I'm desperately trying to refrain myself from jumping you. Also sense of humour is a non-negotiable, and I definitely enjoy a dry and dark sense of humour.

Sun in Libra - Be a good dresser. Care about your appearance. Be intelligent. Be mature (please). Do little nice things, for example opening doors and taking her jacket.

Don't wear shirts that say stupid things like "My other shirt is at your Mom's house." Don't make lame jokes about something she takes seriously or believes in. Don't say that if you were born a woman instead, you'd be a stripper, even if that is a joke. Don't overdo it with the chivalry.

ASC in Gemini - Be witty, the quick and sharp kind. Know a lot about several subjects or be able to fake it. Be able to change the topic before she does. Be a friend.

Don't leave her talking by herself for ten minutes. Don't stay on the same subject for half an hour unless she's showing clear signs of interest. Don't be easily offended in an intellectual conversation.

7th in Sagittarius - Be open minded. Be curious about the world. Be passionate about something and know a lot about that subject, be a "guru." Love travel. Speak a foreign language (this is a big one for me ).

Don't say something ignorant about world issues. Don't be condescending. Don't be a bigot. Don't be someone who "settles" physically or mentally. The white picket fence idea does nothing for her.

Wow it's amazing what similarities I am seeing here with my chart.

Lotis White: I am very similar to you! I also have Gem Descendant and Jupiter in the seventh house...I have Mercury in the 7th house as well conjunct Jupiter in Gemini. So, would one be surprised to know I literally swore off Gemini's for a time? I also have Mars in Leo.

I am Cancer Sun and Moon, but I have way more fire and air in my chart. I have the sun, mars, venus, and the moon in my 8th house so love and sex are important (and often disturbing) themes in my life.

I am a sucker for the punk look. I love tattoos, body jewelry, smoking, etc. I myself am a bit of a punk. The more of an individual you are, the more unusual your personality, the more interested I will be. I go for the moody loner type but this type I cannot sustain in a relationship. Physical and emotional challenge will reel me in every-time. Looks are important, but charisma is more important. Intelligence and an understanding of the spiritual and scary and profound side of life is a major turn on. Men who talk about religion, spirituality, ethics, etc turn me on big time. Adventure is also a tremendous turn on. Also, with Mars and Venus conjunct in Leo it is important that my man is proud of me in public as well and give me lots of chivalric attention. I will go for any "type" or appearance though.

Letting me be sexual is a must. All men I've slept with or been involved with have told me how much they love my appearance, but then ask me not to dress provocative unless they give me permission. MAJOR TURN OFF!!!!!!!!!!! I.e my new Aries entanglement complimented me on my bosom the other night. I have a very small chest so I like to wear low cut shirts and show off some pretty cleavage. He said he loved that, but now he want me to stop wearing that shirt or push-up bras. He doesn't want other men to enjoy it...ugh. With Venus and Mars in Leo, it is important to my sexual and social happiness that I am able give and recieve attention. I have many many male friends and I need to be able to still flirt with them and be physically affectionate. I don't want to sleep with them, but I do love them very much and need to be able to let them know it. My partner must be able to understand this. I may flirt and look around, but I am spotlessly devoted and faithful. This is where my cancer side comes in...

As a double cancer, let me take care of you and love the way I do it. Don't be too hard on me! A man who has patience with my sensitivity and moodiness is very attractive to me. Just let me be and respect my emotional needs. I will reward a man with tremendous affection and care if he can be kind to me. The fastest way to turn me off is to be domineering or critical...

As far as all the Gemini in my chart and 7th house, obviously being a Gemini will get your foot in the door. I love to talk but I hate being interrupted constantly! I am a good listener, don't get me wrong. But a man who is annoyed by my talkativeness is no man for me.

I.e. an Aquarius has been after me. I was mildly interested but not much because of an entanglement with a Aries man. Finally I went on a date with the Aquarius. At the end of the evening we were watching my favorite movie (another sure way to turn me on, let me choose the movie we watch!) I had been talking non-stop ( I talk more when I'm nervous) and I decided to make a good effort to stop talking. He was a good conversationalist, but since it was late he I think was talked out. After a few moments of silence he asked me to keep talking. He said he liked my voice and liked listening to what I had to say. It was soothing, he said, and pleasurable. He also liked what I had to say and found my thoughts interesting and unique. After he said this I found I was willing to let him kiss me for a while...

I love earth signs. I love Taurus-I love to be touched. Appreciating my body with your hands is extremely liberating and pleasurable for me. But not just any touch-a refined sense of touch. A man with a refined sense of touch or a man who gives sensual warm hugs has a very good chance of winning me over.

Also, a sense of humor. So true about Sagittarius personalities: Humor is a VITAL part of my life. I must be able to laugh and be silly and have someone who is equally inclined to have fun. Laughing is about enjoying life IMO. And I could never stress how much adventure turns me on. So very much...

Honorability goes without saying for me. He must be a good person.

Adventure, conversation, respecting my emotions, devotion, being proud of me, and concern with the spiritual and beautiful side of life.

You have a better chance if you are a bit perverse and unexpected, as I am. I have dark and eccentric tastes and sharing them with me is again, a big turn on.

I could go on and on...suffice it to say, the only thing about myself as a Cancer is that you must respect and honor my emotions and not be too hard on me.

Cheers!
