Topic: Sleepy air signs?

I am the only Earth sun sign in my house. Surrounded by 2 Air signs. I always wake up before them. They seem to need more sleep. Do you find this in your lives too?IP: Logged |

i think thats more of an individual thing. My parents are both water signs and they get up very early, around 5 am. I'm a water sign and my schedule varies depending on my work. I can be an early rising or sleep in until 1pm. It could also have to do with age. Generally younger people will stay up later and wake up later. IP: Logged |

In my experience, water and earth signs sleep more/longer. In that, my sister is an earth sign and it takes her forevvvver to get out of bed and waking her is nearly impossible. Same for my taurus cousin, and they both fall asleep as soon as they lay down and close their eyes. My mom is a virgo and is the same way. And water signs, seem to love their sleep! But are light sleepers? Also, the earth signs I know really really hate getting woken up. There's always a "GRRRRRR" in their eyes when they first open, then they kind of roll their eyes like "whyyyy!!" I'm an air sign and my brother is a fire sign, we both stay up really late and then spring out of bed in the morning! My dad as well, he is a Leo and is always up at 4am no matter how late he's been up. My observations! IP: Logged |

yea, i have seen people with alot of earth and water sleep for along time
im an air sign with mostly fire and water. I only need 7 at the most but i dont sleep long, i like to be on the move

what about talking in your sleep!!Now that I think about it, the earth and water signs I know all talk in their sleep! Or sit up, look around mumble and then lie back down lol. My mom and sister, both earth signs, have been known to cry in their sleep...like when they're having a bad dream and crying in it. And their bodies turn to lead like they're dead!! You have to shake them awake/slap them/pour water on them. Actually, that has just been my experience with earth signs not water signs. I've never done that...the talking in my sleep, and I've never known an air or fire sign to do that! Whenever I wake up i'm always like, "WHATS UP!" as soon as I open my eyes. IP: Logged |

haha! I was just going to say...
Air signs have a hard time stopping their brains so it takes us a long time to go to sleep and I've found most earth signs are almost instant sleepers. For us - for me at least there's always new avenues to explore and think about, the brain never stops!
Therefore we have a hard time getting to sleep and therefore want to continue sleeping as long as posible. My family knows not that I'm not fully functional until at least half an hour to an hour after I wake up.
I mean here I am writing this at 1:30 am and I decided to come on here to stop me thinking about something else that's going on in my life. heheIP: Logged |

I need tons of sleep or else I'm Ms. Cranky pants for the day. I need at least 8-9 hours to just function normally. Now I'm getting used to less sleep because of my daughter, but still I need at least 8 hours. I used to seep 14 hours a day lol.
