Hey all, I'd like to see a thread about the POSITIVE attribues to those with their moons in Virgo. Everytime I read one of those descriptions about it, all it says is that we're meticulous, and fussy, etc. etc. I mean sure, I like to organize my cds for fun, but c'mon! hehe Feel free to add what you'd like as long as it's not 100% negative IP: Logged |

Preferably I'd like to hear directly from those who have Virgo Moons, instead of "this how my ex boyfriend/friend/wife/husband etc." acted. IP: Logged |

I have a virgo moon. I keep my house a mess, but when I'm at work, my desk is IMMACULATE. I'm not crazy on organization but I do like lists. I notice that I try to keep relationships neat and tidy and uncomplicated. My moon is in the 9th house though, so I'm not sure how that relates. IP: Logged |

I have a Virgo Moon in the 8th house. My room is not immaculate but messes drive me off the deep end....almost literally. It was hard for me to keep a neat space in my last house due to just not knowing what to do with stuff, but now in my new place its sooo easy. I wonder if its the pluto transit helping out? LOL Like I said, my moon's in the 8th so cleaning for me is always a psychological airing out too. It always coincides for me with wanting a change...which is usually alot of the time since my moon's mutable. But onto the more interesting stuff: I love to read (especially anything historical or fantasy based), I'm curious about growing food, and I still want to go out to the mountains next fall. I'm not anti-technology but sometimes I would love to go back to more simple times. I also don't consider myself a picky eater, but the one thing in life I'm VERY particular about is the way my food is served. Like I've probably ranted about this 2192494 times but I HATE sweet things over my rice....Aquarian Moon mother never seems to get that. Just drives me insaaaane. IP: Logged |

Aw thank you Ami you're such a sweetie Since my Moon is in an intercepted sign it's difficult to notice how it operates. I like order but I am not orderly at all. I don't like plans, I am more the improvisation person. But I am a very simple, natural person, I like honesty. I am very service-oriented, helping people and feeling useful is quite important. I *am* careful with my food, too, though, which drives my family a bit nuts I like Virgo Moons for their modesty and sense of self-sacrifice. We are good people

agreed i was about to say it's one of the least complicated moon positions. although i think there's a lot more sensitivity behind it than meets the eye. IP: Logged |

Doux Reve you have put the virgo moon tendencies in a nutshell. Thanx. Saved my work. It fits me like a glove.MBlake you got double virgo effect! I don't believe it. Do you have Sagi or Gemini effect too somewhere? Anyways i have moon in Virgo and think very nice of myself. I dont know what others think though. I am Analytical etc but all my virgo moon tendencies are balanced /diluted with Sagi ascendent. Both the tendencies run very nicely in me. IP: Logged |

Doux That was a lovely explanation for Virgo moon which gets a bad rap .------------------ "Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung He who controls his Spirit is greater than he who controls a city Proverbs

I have a Virgo Moon III house conjunct Virgo IC I found a really cool article on Virgo Moon: http://www.silma.org/astrology/virgo.html I pulled all the positive descriptions out of it if this helps. =) The sign of Virgo stabilizes the shifting effect of the Moon. Virgo is a sign of intelligence and practicality, which gives a sharp analytical bent to the Moon's influence. If you have the Moon in Virgo, you have a fine, discriminating mind. You do not pursue knowledge merely for the sake of learning; you figure out how to use what you learn. Your immediate reaction to the sense impressions you receive from the world around is to analyze what you have just seen and heard. You are meticulous in shifting through information and you tend to question whatever is told to you.You are a seeker of truth, and you believe truth is what is left after lies have been exposed. Methodical in your approach to problems, you figure out exactly what needs to be done and then tackle the issue a step at a time. Through your Virgo Moon, you are drawn into a world of fine details. It is those fine points that titillate your interest and add to your sense of perfection. You are much more sensitive than others think you are, and may even be more sensitive than you realize. Your eyes shine when you have a chance to give of yourself and realize positive results of your service. Whether you are teaching what you know, concentrating on improving something, or building a foundation of greater knowledge - it is the process of personal development that ultimately allows you to accept yourself and gain a true sense of individual worth and power. No experience washes over you aimlessly; you always learn a lesson from it.

ive got a virgo moon and id say that along with it trining uranus, neptune, and saturn plus sextile jupiter that it attributes to my excellent memory. hehe. i tend to go over things in my head over and over again which i think contributes to be remembering so much.. im very studious, and i enjoy learning as much as i can stuff into my head. im not particularly orderly cause im pretty messy but im more meticulous. i like things done a certain way.. like the way i eat my raviolis and how things are ordered and arranged that i care a lot about. im careful with what i choose to eat as well.. and id say im a bit hypochondriac at times. i am VERY health conscious i love to help people too! :P IP: Logged |

Healthwise, I think I suck. I'm pretty good at avoiding fatty greasy foods, but I'm terrible at avoiding overeating carbs. I'm such a crappy Virgo Moon in this aspect and it shows. =\I do have my Moon in mutual reception with my mercury which is suppose to be a very strong aspect in many ways, but my mercury is afflicted by neptune so memory is great, but in strange ways. I don't have that typical Cancer merc photographic memory, but I'm great with random facts. Is there anyone else who has their Virgo Moon in a water house? If so, do you think it changes the ration or stability of your Virgo Moon a bit?

benedict- well i dont have my moon in a water house but i got it in the 5th house plus its trine neptune.. so i think that sensitivity wise it can be painfully so much so that the slightest change of tone in soimeones voice can throw me off.. i sorta get caught up in other peoples feelings. i found this little interpretation about 5th house moon -"You express yourself through your feelings, which are very strong and vigorous. You really love good times, and for entertainment you enjoy plays, stories and television programs that appeal to your emotions. You don't make any pretense about your strong dislikes and likes. It is important to you to be honest about your emotions. Sometimes, in a mood of joyous high spirits, you may take risks that are really quite foolish. Also you may sometimes get carried away by your feelings, which can be difficult for others to handle." do any of you virgo moons relate to sensitivity? IP: Logged |

I just feel so terribly reactive sometimes, and it seems to come more from the 8th house placement than the Virgo. I'll make snap decisions on an emotional whim at extreme times, its kind of ridiculous. My moon is also trine neptune and sextile pluto, and that doesn't help. I gotta say that it must be interesting having a 5th house Virgo Moon. Like a marriage between creativity and craftsmanship or something like that. IP: Logged |

yeah its sorta funny cause virgo is rather reserved and it being in a leo house,i think i fluctuate between risk taking and regret the other. but when it comes to creating things i do have a strong sense of pride in my work but its torn between my modest virgo moon and wanting it to be noticed at the same time.. and when i do show it i get all self critical and change my mind.. its a viscious cycleIP: Logged |

Man, thats a tough conflict to have, especially if you're in a creative field. And after rereading your post above, you just found me my word: meticulous. That's what I am. Not a neat-freak, but meticulous. I also took care of a man with a Virgo Moon the other day, who also happened to have the same Sun, Mercury, and Venus as I do. Though in his case, meticulous is an understatement. I wonder if there was a lesson to be learned from that, with him having a similar chart to mine? LMAO

haha maybe. thats interesting to see how you 2 express the planets in similar ways. my chart is really similar to serena williams, its sorta wierd. i think her rising, sun, moon, merc, and venus are all in the same sign.. even her merc is the same degree as mine, oh yeah! and she has the same birthday as me except for the year.. but yeah... serena williams is a virgo moon too guys! sometimes i wonder if me and her are.. similar and stuffhehe i think the creative urge is pushed even more just cause my rising and sun are ruled by venus and my venus is in the 7th house.
